Such an honest and kind mechanic! My car started making a weird noise while I was in the area. I was scared to drive home since I didn t know what it was. The mechanic at the shop really helped me out and took a look at my car right away even though he was very busy. He said I was having issues with my suspension and would likely need to replace my strut. He made sure it was safe for me to drive home and didn t even charge me! Would highly recommend this shop!

My husband Joe and I have enjoyed Ky's service for over thirty years. As long as he is available, I won't be utilizing anyone else.He can handle anything.

I always go to Ky for the routine smog check and he is always quick and efficient. After getting several quotes for a thermostat replacement for my cousins Jeep I called Ky and his price was the most reasonable. So even if it was a little further away for my cousin to drive to R. My best friend brought her car here originally to get smogged after she had it "repaired" by her house in San Francisco. He found numerous errors in the mechanics work (lazy ones like not hooking hoses up correctly when there is a diagram under the front hood) and gave us information on how to get her money back, which we were able to do. After ky did a full diagnostic (97 Toyota Corolla that's had numerous small problems recently) he recommended going with an option that was half the price of the other option and it worked perfectly and passed smog. The car is running better than it ever has in the 6 months she's owned it. Including the money we were able to get refunded the repair job was only $35 and done right. This guy is awesome and totally recommend him

Good honest hardworking mechanic with great prices and usually same-day service. I gave him my company account for 17 vans after seeing how hard he worked on my cars for two years. No regrets. I send all my friends to him too.

I visited Ky's on recommendation from a mechanic at Grand. I was dubious when I pulled up to the garishly painted concrete bunker that is the shop. But on meeting with Ky, who did all the work himself, my trepidation was quickly put to rest. Ky moves around like a man on a mix of caffeine and, well, MORE caffeine. He's quick to smile and make jokes about working such long hours ("It keeps (his) wife happy!") ... Ky moves around the shop and job like a miniature tornado and if your smart enough to stay for the show, you'll be a lot smarter about your car by the time he's done. While there, I received one hell of an education regarding my car's engine, particular anti-smog system and several other systems I would have never guessed were related. I'm an admitted amateur when it comes to cars, but I've rebuilt trannies, rear-ends, clutches and brakes, and in the "old-days" (pre-computer) I've tuned engines and adjusted carburetors and more ... but when my 15, or 20 min. education was over I knew I was in the presence of true automotive genius. For the $50 charge, I got my Smog check, an entertaining and thorough education, some minor adjustments and a gasket I didn't even know was gone (included free of charge), but most importantly, I got a mechanic, I will trust with anything my cars need, for as long as Ky's around (and trying to keep his wife happy). Ky even does on-site fabrication (and if you've got some spare scrap metal around, Ky L-O-V-E-S working with metal). I really can't recommend Ky as highly as I'd like ... schedule your next smog, tune-up, brakes, or anything else you've got and check him out. You'll be more than happy with his work, his prices and his honest, straight forward attitude and if, you're so inclined, you'll learn a lot too! Thanks, Ky!!

Honest and excellent mechanic. My car just wouldn't pass smog and he did all he could to fix it and because of him it finally passed smog. Thank you so much for being honest and upfront and saving me alot of money

Went for smog check certificate. While he may not be cheapest at $60, he got it done quickly. Ky was friendly and professional.

HORRIBLE Im from out of town and i broke down i took it in to get a diagnosis he was sure it was one thing a couple days after i get my van back it starts acting up took it back in he said it was something else he fixed it and now it runs worst i thought he looked like a decent mechanic but he just took me for a fool
