The curtesy check is blindly checked off. This cabin and engine air filter are obviously bad there are literally mouse droppings in the engine filter. It is marked as good and that the manufacturer would recommend change based on mileage. I am upset because I can not trust anything else they said now but I paid for it. It was expensive and they didn t do the services they said they did. I might as well just do everything myself if I want it done properly.

I'm a big fan of Firestone, particularly this location in Redwood City. I always recommend this location to my friends and colleagues. Thank you for doing a great job as usual. I am particularly happy with the gentleman in the front desk. He did a great job helping me with my needs. Thank you, gil

They over charge! They charged for 4 spark plugs $247.99! If you know car parts you know they are a few bucks a piece! For coolant they charged $66.24, if you know you can get coolant for $20 or less! Im not the one that went to the shop but i looked @ her statement & I think my friend got way taken advantage of! DONT GO HERE!

Wow what an amazing, confidence-inspiring visit! I loved being able to book the visit online and when I brought the car in, Gerardo provided excellent, efficient service and got me out of the door in great time and with a much improved car (checked battery, new tires, alignment). Super positive experience with all the workers here!

staff is always so nice and honest. I had a low pressure tire, which i thought may have a nail or might even need a new tire. The staff checked it thoroughly and could find anything wrong. I was impressed with their honesty. Such a relief and I will continue to use their services!

Overpriced service, predatory work recommendations. Low coolant in reservoir does not mean a flush is needed, cleaning corroded battery terminals means running a wire brush over them, not a $50 job.

The vehicle drop off and pick up were done so efficiently, I was in and out like it was a drive thru. Plus the service advisor was polite and professional. I very happy with this location.

I have visited Firestone Redwood City Branch for allligmant. The store manager Michael Hawat was amazing, proffesional and so friendly. We set up schedule so easy. He care for my car so much and did inspection for my concern. All stuff and technicians were awesome at this location. They did great job. The waiting area also so comfortable. Highly recommended.

I got two tires replaced here. I brought the tires myself. They damaged the two wheels because they have bad equipment. When I complained, all the way to the claims store, they outright denied that it happened at their shop. Shameless people!! I will never to go a Firestone shop - just a disgraceful company that does not take accountability. While the damage was minor, but the wheels totally intact wheels, but it is still a damage. It does not show good work and professional ethics.

Today I had my headlight bulb replaced by the team at Firestone in Redwood City. The customer service was incredible. Brendon was the mechanic and knew exactly how to fix the complicated replacement within minutes. Marvin was assisting me and was very friendly and helpful. He had the replacement completed within fifteen minutes and didn't try and sell me any additional services or charge me any extra costs. He made it an efficient and affordable experience and even recommended some off-roading trails. I will definitely be sending friends and family to have their cars taken care of by this team!

Stay away! They put the first scratch on my 2018 model. I ordered tires online & went to this shop to have them installed. I had an appointment and the wait time was horrible. Techs were going on lunch break in the middle of reinstalling parts. I didn t notice until the next day while I was pumping gas. There was no way I was letting them near my car again & I didn t feel like dealing with them.

Got tires replaced and and supposedly an oil change. So after a month for some reason I been wanting to check the oil in this truck, well turns out it's bone dry. I think Firestone charged to drain the oil and I'm guessing to add oil it might have been extra. TRASH SERVICE STAY AWAY, I'm lucky this is a rental truck and not my personal. I will be reporting them to enterprise.

Had a nail on the tire, in 35 mins everything was sort out for $20 with a very good service. Very friendly staff. I definitely recommend this shop !!!

I ve taken my car to this place a couple of times, and I ve scheduled appointments countless times. You would expect an appointment to be followed through with, but it s as if they don t get the concept of the word appointment . I ve taken this car for an oil change in the past, and I came back just to find my car leaking even more oil and oil all over my transmission. I needed my car back for the next day for an important work meeting, but I was unable to get there due to this problem they cause. I had to take my business elsewhere. I decided to give me a second chance and went for another oil change. I left my car there at 3pm and went to go check itout before they closed only for me to find out that they didn t touch the car at all. Let me save you guys time and money and take your business elsewhere guy. One of the biggest problems I believe is that they probably don t have a district manager to manage this location.Service: Oil change

We were able to get an appointment quickly and service didn't take long. However, we went in for an oil change, and they gave us the most expensive oil available without informing us of less expensive options. Our bill was almost double what we wanted or needed to spend as a result. I'm not sure we would use Firestone again after this experience.Service: Oil change

DO NOT GO TO THISFirestone in Redwood City on El Camino Real. Michael specifically is worst kind of manager/employee anyone can ever deal with. He scammed my mother In to several hundreds of dollars and requested for her to leave a rental there so he would return it but instead ended up using it over the weekend. We threaten to call cooperate to inform them and all he said is you have to have proof he said that or did that and we don t have cameras here. Originally the car was supposed to take 2 days to fix but he ended up taking 8 days making excuses if receiving wrong parts and saying he was the only one at the shop so he couldn t work on cars and help customers MICHAEL IS THE TRUE DEFINITION OF THIEF, LIAR, and SCAMMER. Do yourself a favor and do not go there and if you don t believe me look at the the other reviews by other customers just within the past month. I should have read the reviews before taking family s vehicles to a place that s rated 3 stars. That alone tells you there is a lot of dishonest business going on here. You would expect this with a mechanic in the streets but not a huge company like Firestone. Before Michael started there me and my family had been taking cars there for over 10 years. Now me and family will take out business elsewhere. I have already left 3 messages with corporate and they keep saying we will call you back within 48 hours but no calls are returned . At this point it feels like Michael knows they don t investigate nothing so he can do as he wishes. Any other company would have addressed this a long time ago.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They turned me away after I showed up for my appointment; they didn't have staff to do the job. Then the Firestone store manager would not honor the lifetime wheel alignment, because he does not make a commission on free services. Avoid this store.Go to Wheel Works down the road. They honored my lifetime alignment, and did a better job all in 30 minutes, with no appointment. Great service and mechanics at Wheel Works, on El Camino. (Bridgestone is the parent company of Firestone, WheelWorks and Tires Plus.)

CARPE DIEM! Not very professional. I purchased the lifetime alignment in Florida, and they made a mistake with assigning it to my old car that I also purchased the alignment for. This shop in Redwood canceled my appointment because of that, after it took a month to secure.I wrote an honest review about it, and they asked me to come back to make it right. Then they decided to lie to me. They told me my front left tire couldn't be aligned because of an issue. I asked them to clarify, and they couldn't.So I took it to Tesla and paid $275 for an alignment, and they aligned it with no problem. I asked them if anything was broken bc Firestone told me they couldn't complete it bc something was. Tesla said everything was fine they even tested it. Apparently, they hear of this happening a lot due to laziness at other shops.I attached a photo of both alignments. Tesla (left) Firestone(right). The "Actual" is what firestone returned my car to me with. The lower part of the Tesla page is what they returned the car to me like. There is a noticeable difference in the way the car drives and no more warbling sound.Hind sight 20/20? A company in the business of replacing tires has an incentive to ensure your alignment isn't perfect. I am sure this must be illegal.

Just terrible! We dropped the car because a tire had a nail in it. When we picked up the car they said the brake pads in the front and back were so bad that the car was unsafe to drive! They said they were not going to release the car unless we had it towed out of there or had it repaired there! We had zero problems with the brakes so I told them they are crazy and give me the keys to my car. We went around and around they finally let us out of there. I didn t ask for a brake check so I m not sure why they checked them except to make more money. I checked the rear brakes and they were fine only half worn. The front was 3/4 used not wearing the rotors not dangerous at all. Terrible way of trying to get more business. Don t trust him with your car.Service: Tires

I brought my tire to the shop at 1030 am. As I have purchased all my tires there for this vehicle. I was checked in fast then waited for 1hr and 15 minutes for someone to tell me they don't have any of the tires for my truck which are Firestone destination L3. As I was waiting the 3 people working the office where messing around not concerned with customers being taken care of. It appeared they only had 2 guys working the shop... They told me they have one tire in San Mateo store and that it should only take 30 to 40 minutes. I waited 4 more hrs!!!!!! 6 hrs for one tire I have to hand it to them for the great customer service .

It was my second time taking my car there and both times I had an unpleasant experience. Both times I made an appointment. The first time, I got there for my appointment and they did not take my car until an hour and 30 minutes later. The second time, the online website let me book an appointment at 7 am. I got there and it was closed. I waited 20 minutes until I decided to take off. Definitely will not be taking my car to firestone again.

Terrible experience. I have been here 2 times. The first time they quoted me over a grand for a radiator repair. The second time I came in for a wheel alignment was told to wait an hour and a half in the lobby until they finished the service and 4 hours later they told me to go home because they couldn't do it anymore within the day. I stayed from 8am to 12 noon. Also their appointments don't matter at all. They randomly tell you to show up at 8am hoping that they can take you in. I think it's mainly this branch that is so bad because I've been to other Firestones and they are not as bad.

Called ahead and made what I thought was an appointment for an oil change. Turned out it wasn't an appointment and the oil change took 3 hours but I only found this out after the first hour. They also tried to sell me new tires even though mine are fine and have a few thousand more miles in them (as stated by another shop). Will not be returning.

Not really happy. They are basic liars. Lied to me several times. Had a flat tire. Said they ll call back by evening. Didn t. Next day said vehicle will be ready that day. Wasn t. Don t care attitude about the customer. You take my money! Obviously for something? Work, man! Your job is to take care of the customer. When I am there, walk with me to the car. Take a look instead of dismissing me. Maybe it s an easy fix. Other shops do that. When got the car back, I hear noise from the tires. What the hell! I thought you fixed it! Didn t bother to do a final check? Where is the noise coming from? I suspect if it s the right tire. Take your no-care attitude to your home: I pay so you do your job for me. I don t pay for the no-care attitude. Very disappointed.Service: Tires

This place used to be my go-to store for tire rotations and oil changes. But the new management is really bad. Twice now, I ve made an appointment online only to find it was not honored when I showed up. Today I even called to confirm my appointment before going (given the bad experience last time). They said I was good to go, then I showed up and they said they re too busy. I will go literally anywhere else in the future.
