I took my 2004 Jaguar XJR to Cerrone s today for the first time.Visiting my sister, I noted a leak of some sort. Made an appointment on line and was contacted the very next morning.Dropped of the car the next day and by 2 pm it was completely diagnosed. Somehow my car had oil all over the bottom of the car and engine.They cleaned everything up, tightened everything down, test drove the car twice and checked over for leaks.No more oil or leaks and these guys charged me only for the original diagnosis fee of $150! Talk about honorable. It is really nice to see there are still people like this around.They truly went above and beyond!Well, they certainly earned all of my future business.Thank you Cerrone s

This was my first repair at Cerrone's. The experience from my first phone conversation with Tyler until vehicle pickup with Tanya was nothing less than professional and friendly. Tyler was great at explaining everything that my car needed from the parts to the expense. I appreciated the communication and will definitely be using Cerrone's for future servicing of my Range Rover.

I appreciate doing business with honest businesses. Cerrone's does not look to take advantage of their customers and only want the best care for your vehicle. Above and beyond service, they even gave me a ride back home after dropping off the car to the shop. Great experience and would recommend to anyone.

inspection of my vehicle was thorough, the service advisor clearly communicated all the details of the issues making it easy to understand and to feel informed enough to decline some recommendations. advisor wasn't pushy about any of it. the total came in under the estimate and they even cleaned some scrapes of the bumpers! courtesy car was perfect for getting around during my service. staff was very friendly and professional.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Great operation. My Land Rover had a major issue while I was staying in Stanford Children's Hospital for several weeks and these guys identified a novel issue and fixed on a very compressed timeline for me. One less thing I need to worry about now.

NOT LIKE THEY USED TO BE. I used to be able to count on Tyler to give me the straight scoop and not quote anything extra or unnecessary. But that all changed when I brought my father-in-law's car there. Cerrone's quoted about $13,000 worth of services that were "severe" and had to be done. In the end we chose to do just a couple of them. The most damning part is that we had taken the same car there less than a year ago (my wife had sold the car to my in-laws four months earlier) and had some work done. NONE of these critical items were brought up at that time. Essentially a clean bill of health. This gave the impression that we had sold my in-laws a lemon. Same car, same condition, different owner = massive quote for critical expenses. I was beyond disappointed. They lost my trust this time around.

I thought I had an oil leak and took my car to Cerrones to get it checked out. After looking at things, Tyler explained that the CV boots were leaking lubricant. This is a very expensive problem to fix. I explained that the car is only used for very short trips and very seldom goes over 40 MPH. Based off that, Tyler told me that I shouldn t get it fixed. Tyler is very knowledgeable and explained things clearly. I find him to be very honest and trustworthy.

They do it once, and they do it right.I wish I knew about them before. I got my Volvo's valve covers and lower intake manifold cleaned by them. I got a glimpse of their immaculate shop and witnessed their meticulous workman ship. Will definitely be coming again if I need anything taken care of on my Volvo.Update: I prefer to wrench on my own car but when I need a professional's help for the tough & precise parts of the job I go to Cerrone's.Tyler did an impeccable job, perfect workmanship. Anne was very proactive and set everything up for me even though it was a special request. I am stickler for clean and precise workmanship and these folks get it right everytime.Incredible shop run by incredible people. Shop rates are not more expensive than a Volvo dealer but comes with 10 times the reliability and care.Service: Carburetor cleaning

I recently used Cerronne s European for the first time by taking our company Volvo 2018 in for analysis of a check engine light and to review the status of the brakes. They recommended a phased approach to determine if fuel injectors were actually needed. They inspected the brakes and found them to be worn a little but not needing replacement yet. They changed the spark plugs and asked us to keep an eye on the check engine light - if it comes on again, we ll take it back and they ll determine if the fuel injectors need to be replaced. We have a high confidence level from their approach and initailly saved us money by taking using their strategy. I would highly recommend them to anyonme who values their automobile wanting a professional auto service.

Unhappy. Sent estimate to expired email and did not communicate cost during call. Replaced parts that did not need replacing and did not clearly indicate intention to do so. Have previously had good interaction with Cerrones, but unhappy and unlikely to return.Update: Appreciate Frank reaching out and seeing where the miscommunication occurred. Process to be improved on both sides. Always insure you have a clear understanding of cost and scope of work.

My old Jag was quite literally falling apart. Cerrone's found so many issues so quickly that I decided to donate the car to charity. Cerrone's went above and beyond in keeping my family safe and assisting in my car donation. First time there. Great experience. Very organized appointments and communication. The found a bunch of major work needed on a very old car, so I decided not to repair it but to put my money towards a new car instead. They charged me fairly for the assessment of what was needed and helped me come to the right decision. If I get another European car I'll come back.

Initially diagnosed and replaced ignition coils. Also had the air conditioning recharged, air filter replaced and new tires balanced, mounted and aligned. The service was excellent! Exactly what they said they would do for the price quoted. My explorer broke down on the freeway thinking it was the battery. I had my truck towed to the shop without having an appointment. After explaining what happened, Frank advised me that it was most likely the alternator. A few hours later my truck was completely fixed and ready to go. Great to know that I can trust the guy s to take care of my truck even when it s not a specialty car!!! Thanks

Great customer service, excellent communication on repairs performed and repairs to consider, no pressure repair suggestions, very fair pricing and delivery when promised. The detailed courtesy safety inspection with comments and photos was informative and appreciated. Annie & Tyler at Cerrone s European are the absolute BEST! After having a lot unexpected & unresolved issues with my Range Rover, I needed to find a new mechanic so I tried Cerrone s in Redwood City. Annie was so warm & kind on the phone and got me on the schedule ASAP. I was extremely impressed with how quickly Tyler diagnosed my car. He emailed me all the reports, pictures and estimates of my needed repairs so his transparency was amazing. Annie thoroughly explained the estimate to me and my husband and had my car fixed and returned to me in just 2 days. Tyler is seriously the best mechanic I ever met: honest, professional and sooooooo knowledgeable. And most importantly, incredibly fairly priced. I am beyond grateful to have found them and so sorry I did not take my Range Rover to them sooner. I don t often write reviews, but I felt compelled to say how impressed I was with the great service and professionalism I received for my Jaguar XKR. It was my first time at Cerrones and I will definitely be back the next time I need to have my car checked. I really appreciated the time Tyler spent thoroughly going over details with me and giving me his honest opinions. This is the second time we have been at Cerrone s. We called them up and they were able to take the car in on a Monday. They were very accommodating because of the issue with the car. The car had no power and the malfunction drivetrain message came on which was very scary. We really had to get the car in to be seen immediately. They had the car Monday through Thursday due to the numerous codes that were stored in the computer. In addition to these issues, we had rats that chewed on the wires in the car which made an additional problem. Tyler, Frank and their crew had a hard time trying to clear the codes. And to make matters worse, the previous repair shop, replaced the starter and neglected to replace the parts correctly and did not even know about all of the codes. Made a very hard job for Tyler. He spent more time and effort trying to get this car back in shape. We were astounded when he called stating that he was able to fix all of the issue. We thought we had to get a new car.Now this car runs just like we had gotten it new. My husband is a retired ex mechanic and Tyler and his dad are very knowledgeable on these new high-tech cars. He can relate to both of them. We were astounded that Tyler could fix this car with all of its issues. It made our day.

Cerrone's has serviced 3 different Mini's we've owned over a period of many years. It is easy to make appointments. They provide a detailed inspection report after checking out the car. Their work is accurate, fairly priced, and fixes whatever problem they identified. We've never had to return the car because a problem wasn't fixed right. Very very expensiveTrust me they are more expensive or equal to the official dealer shop. But the service is definitely not official dealer standard.They bought the Google review, I have raise this concern to Googleupdate on 09/19/2022:Get the real review then say you are not real customer you are fake account .You have 2 or 3 mechanics and you and your father sit in the office.Me and my family have own the Germany car over 10 years and have seen 30+ repair shops in CA. You are the top 2 not worth place. 200$+ for one labor? 100$ of customers pay have been used to buy review.
