I needed a Star Smog. These guys were quick, polite and priced right. I went around lunchtime and was in and out in about 15 minutes without even leaving the comfort of my car. Mention the coupon to get the lowest price. Thanks guys!

The guy on the phone was very inpatient when I called. He just hang up phone when I was trying to ask something. Bad customer service!

I had a really great experience here. I came in for a quick oil change on my Chevy Volt which has a unique air filter and oil type which the manager was able to help me with very quickly. They had to special order the air filter and also helped pump my tire / window washer fluid and had me in and out very quickly. Prices are hard to beat and great customer service - highly recommend!

Go here. Stop. Don't go anywhere else. Owner manager runs a top shop for smog check and oil change. Great prices which can't be beat. Quick in and out. Excellent service - Even has a waiting room with great TV viewing. Hung rocks as he rolls your car in And out in such a professional manner. Get your coupon online at their website, or just tell him about the coupon when you drive in. You can schedule an appointment at his website or just shimmy on in old school without an appointment. Hung, He is, cool like that.

Two bay station, one with a dynamometer and the other with a hydralic lift; two employees to perform the work. Did not need to save money using a coupon, I just wanted to get the job done quickly and painlessly.The only issue is that the car recently had an aftermarket catalytic converter installed so Hung needed to double check the regulatory listing of catalytic converter replacements for the vehicle. Another happy customer.

Great price.Fast service.Hung is the owner and he's very friendly and honest. I got my oil change and smog test here for 4 years since I've discovered Air Care Smog. Call ahead, then you'll be in and out in a jiffy.Sadly, I've moved across the bay so doesn't make sense for me to come here.

Was fortunate enough to catch them with time to take care of my smog and oil. Chris was very straightforward. I was slightly disappointed that a newer diesel cost $10 extra for the smog certification, but they more than made up for that by making themselves available at the last minute on a Friday for an oil change. They work hard and it's much appreciated.Services: Smog certification, Oil change

Dishonest and really bad at math!I went in for a smog test with a copy of my email showing $28.75 + 8.75 for certificate. He showed me an estimate for $51 then scratched it out after I showed him the email. Then when the bill was presented it had a total of $47. I generally don't like to have to haggle to get a business to honor advertised prices, time to find a new smog place!Update:Added photo of booking confirmation button with price as well as appointment receipt. Nowhere does it have an asterisk or "most vehicles" or any other indication it does not cost $28.75 + 8.75 for the certificate.Service: Emissions testing

I needed a smog check done today and I stumbled upon Air Care. As soon as I called in for an appointment, Hung was able to accommodate me right away. I went to the shop after the phone call and was out of the shop in less than 15 minutes with my smog check certificate.Also, Hung was very helpful with the questions that I had about my car. Great and professional service!

These guys are cool. Took care of my '91 Chrysler and didn't tell me "our machine is broken" like a lot of other places do when you try to smog an older car around here. Also over $20 cheaper than others with online coupon.

I called on a Friday afternoon, and the owner of the shop was friendly & professional. He could smog my car immediately, looked up the model over the phone to be sure, and honored the online coupon which made the total $37. I felt like I may have been able to find a smog check for a few bucks less, but getting it done immediately was worth it for me. The shop is right next to the carwash on the San Carlos/RWC border, which is handy if you'd like to get both things done at once. The wait for the check to be complete was only about 15 minutes, and there was a small sitting room, TV, and restroom. It wasn't the most sparkling clean, or new shop, but I left happy that I was supporting the owner's small business.

I found a handful of highly-rated smog check companies, but Air Care was the *only* one that allowed me to book online (it was 1am, and I didn't want to have to wait and call during business hours), and they had the lowest price around. I was able to get a same-day appt, and I received a handy email confirmation.The owner Hung is impeccably professional and friendly. I arrived at my scheduled time, he greeted me, and started working on my car immediately. When I realized that I had forgotten my DMV paperwork, he said no problem -- he would scan my VIN instead.In 15 short minutes, my car was done, and the smog check certification had been electronically submitted to the DMV so I could easily renew my registration online. I'm *definitely* coming back for future smog checks.I'd highly recommend Air Care Smog Test and Repair -- an easy 5 stars!!

Hung was very professional and really did perform a 2000 or newer smog check in 15 minutes. My vehicle was in full view from the waiting room and I can see him doing all the requisite checks. Now I wonder why the other smog places take so long to do what Hung accomplishes in 15 minutes? I will be coming here for all my smog needs now.
