Mario took a lot of time going through the possibilities and pre plan for my Colorado ZR2 offroad suspension. I'm glad we did that before getting parts that wouldn't have done exactly what I want. These guys are great, experienced offroad suspension folks.

Place is a ripoff will tell you a price then try and raise up the price when your ready to drop the car off ended up going down the street to Johnsons Alignment more serious business and they do great work they also work on a lot of classic cars.

Without a doubt. Porter's Alignment & Brake Service is the best Automotive brake repair place in the South Bay. I have used this shop for over 10 years for my car, my wife s car, and my daughter s car, and we are ALWAYS satisfied with the level of professionalism and service that we get and have gotten here. They will not fix brakes that don't need fixing! They know their stuff, and provide excellent customer service. It s hard to find a professional alignment shop that won t take you for a proverbial ride. We are EXTREMELY satisfied customers.Service: Brakes

One of the best shops you can find in town. They work on custom offroad trucks and classic vintage cars mostly other shops would decline.Mario and Carl are the best, hard working honest and fast work.

This is where I recommend to take your vehicle for brakes suspension and alignment. The years of professional expertise and business management is evident. I had brakes, struts suspension and alignment completed and couldn t be more pleased. They do other maintenance work as well. Mario will treat you the way he would expect to be treated. I spoke to Pat Friday, he gave me some simple diagnostic questions to help determine my need. I called back Monday to schedule an appointment and Mario completed the work on Tuesday. The car handles perfect - like new. Highly recommend Porter's Alignment & Brake Service - they know their stuff.

You get what you pay for, and this place is worth every penny. Great work every time done by experienced professionals. One of the very few place I have 100% trust with my vehicles. Beyond that, Pat is an incredible guy with great taste.

$450 to put on brake pads (pre bought) The reasoning: I have employees to pay. I usually put them on my in my uncles driveway with guided instructions and it s a quick job, but since his gf is going through kemo he didn t have the time. Then left a voicemail saying it s because they do a thorough job. Well down the street from you they charge $220.

Got the alignment on my Comet (lots of suspension mods) done here and Pat and the guys did an awesome job. They also pointed out a mistake I made and corrected it. Great guys, professional and excellent work.Just lowered my Mustang and Porter's is my first choice to dial in my alignment!

Porters aligned my Ford Explorer Sport Track properly today. This will finally stop the wear of the inside edge of the front tires. Ford service loves to sell new tires and don't do the alignment correctly so you have to buy new tires faster. Pat Porter and staff are real craftsmen and will do the job right. They are a little hard to find (just off 190th St.) but well worth it in value and service. You will be happy if you take the time to visit Porters with your car or truck.

I have a 1991 ford explorer that pulled to the left on the freeway since the truck was new. I had gone back to the ford dealership 3-4 times to have them check it out and redo the alignment with the same result, costing me $400.+ each time. This was very frustrating to experince an issue with a new vehicle and go through the run-around with several dealerships that told me it may be the tires. I gave up and at 23,000 miles, the truck started to shimmy like something in the front end was reaady to come loose or break. I replaced the tires and it returned to the original symptom of pulling to the left.My neighbor told me about Porter's Alignment, so i called and they asked me to bring it in. I told them about all the trips to the dealership and that i didn't want to spend any more money unless they were sure it would fix the issue and they agreed to diagnose for free, something the dealerships should learn to do.3 hours later, they called me and said they found the problem. i'm not sure what this means, but i had 4 shims on one wheel and 3 on the other causing a mis-alignment.Why couldn't the dealerships find the problem?They charged me $125.- . My truck has never driven so nice. This thing just rolls down the freeway and i'm getting great gas mileage. As part of the diagnostics, they also recommended a better front shock, which i bought and now a have a mercedes ride in a 4-FWD truck!

Great shop, great guys, great work at reasonable prices.No reason to go any where else in the South Bay for almost any repair work. And if you drive a vintage car this is THE shop you need.
