I have a 1992 imported diesel Toyota Hiace firetruck. It is a rare vehicle in America and difficult to find shops willing to take it in. Parts are difficult to find as well. After calling about a dozen shops, Solernos was the only one willing to work on it. So far, they ve replaced my clutch, flywheel, rebuilt the stator and fuse box. They were very helpful in finding parts and patient when they took a long time to arrive. I am very thankful for this business. Mark the owner is a very nice and reasonable guy, the mechanics are very personable as well. Good service! 11/10, would recommend.

Mark, you were our hero today! Even though he was about to head out on vacation, he was still willing to wait for us to come rent a last minute 16 truck since a reservation at another location fell through. He even honored a better price than the computer was charging. The deal was quick, the truck was in great condition, and all went well. Would definitely recommend!

If you ever need repairs, tires or a simple oil change go here! They are reasonably priced, always do a fantastic job and very detailed with their work. Myself and my family take our cars here as he is trust worthy and does great work! I had a sudden major leak and they took it in same day and got it all fixed. I really could not be more pleased.Services: Tires, Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil change

Salerno's is a great mechanic shop in Redlands. Mark the owner is very helpful, the mechanics are knowledgeable and do the job right. If you have an older vehicle pre- 70's or you have one of those boring new computerized tin cans, these guys know their stuff

We got issues with our F150 on our roadtrip from Texas to California. They immediately put my truck on the bridge and found out we had a very bad disc brake. They replaced the two rear disc brakes as fast as they could so we could hit the road again just a few hours later.The price we paid was totally normal. I ve had some really bad experiences with autorepairs charging a lot of money, but this wasn t the case at all at Salerno s.The workers are also very friendly and take time to explain things to you. We we re very happy with the much needed help and repair. Thanks again!!!

Would definitately recommend! I rented a Penske moving van from here during a cross-country move, the owner/manager Mark provided the best possible service. I was a bit of a pain too, waffling on whether or not to take a car carrier trailer, even drove it off the lot and brought it back unused the next day while they were super busy. Mark was totally cool and understanding, no big deal. Made it easy. Far better service than I've ever gotten at any u-haul.

Unfortunately this was the most dishonest place ive ever taken my truck to. Do not leave your vehicle here. Stay with it. Dont let them do unauthorized vehicle checks/service. Dont give in to their scare tactics if you dont want them to do the work.

Came in thinking I had a busted radiator hose but turned out 2b heater cooler hose & the cooler it self . They informed me about the situating damage along with a couple of minor adjustments which I've been putting off. So with a reasonable price I got a few things fixed 4 the price of one. I found their customer service quite warming and informing . They didn't charge a storage fee either. My car runs better than I drove it off the lot. Thanx guys found me some new friends/mechanics. See ya soon 4 my oil change.

I was on my way home to Phoenix and my car started acting up. I googled local repair shops and found Salerno's. They were closing soon, so I was hoping they had time to fit me in, they also had great reviews, so I called them up.They were really great guys! I felt very comfortable as soon I got there. They have a no BS approach and I truly appreciate them helping me despite being so close to closing time.I was able to get back on the rd that evening and get home!

I have been doing business with Salerno's for over 20 years. I know that when I drop my car off to be inspected or repaired, that they will repair it correctly and put it back to the manufacture's standards. They are trustworthy, friendly, and honest. All the mechanics seem to be certified, are very knowledgeable, willing to explain, and even show the repair process. It is a family owned business that will treat my car and myself just like a family member. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

So my backstory is that I needed a pre-purchase inspection for a car. Found a car that I really love but I was a little skeptical on the quality of the car. I'm a bit of a handyman myself but I wanted to get it checked by a professional mechanic. I found Salerno's online as it was already highly rated and figured I'll give them a shot.Now, don't be put off by initial impressions when you pull up. These people are the real deal. They're ASE-certified and been around since the 60s, which must mean for something. Think about it, a local privately owned shop that's been around for over 60 years. You can't stick around that long if you burn customers.So back to my story. I just needed a quick inspection. I showed up without an appointment; I wasn't expecting a service immediately. Chris, one of the mechanics, offered to drive me back home. And I thought what, is this car gonna stay overnight or even over the weekend?Nope. Inspection was gonna be done that day. The offer was to just take me back home for my convenience. This is what a family-owned business is all about. They offered to rotate my tires for free because my front tires were a little worn compared to the rear. You're not gonna get small gestures like that at a brand dealership/mechanic shop.My future car passed with flying colors. They caught some stuff I didn't catch and mentioned things I too also noticed.I'm a big fan of supporting local businesses and this is definitely those businesses you should check out. If you haven't been here yet, I'd give a them shot too; You won't be disappointed.

Came in with a flat, ruined tire. I was on the road with my spare in no time. Mark was great to help me locate new tires as I was traveling from Arizona to family in CA. Salerno's gave me an appointment immediately, even worked over a holiday so I could get the car back in time for school. The price was reasonable and they showed all the parts they replaced and explained why. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future. I'm disappointed with other dealership repairs. So glad I found Salerno's.

Hi. I purchased tires for my truck and the service was wonderful. Mark was very helpful and friendly.i would recommend Salerno's as they are an honest enterprise and do the job in a timely manner, keeping you informed of what's going on all the time.

If you need a brake and lamp inspection I recommend elsewhere... $65 to tighten a couple nuts that were tight before I took it here, or fail the test a second time through them. Sure their inspection price is on the cheaper side of things but expect to fail at least once and need a retest

Do NOT trust this place. They clearly have incentive as an inspection shop doubling as a service center. Took a vehicle to Salernos to be inspected, it took over 4 hrs. They falsely claimed that a $600 repair was necessary . Went to 2 separate shops for a second opinion. Both shops said the "necessary repair" was total BS and that this shop is known for doing shady $hit like that.

AUTOMOBILE SERVICE & REPAIRI service my Mercedes Benz at Salerno's, I have been a customer for years now and finally getting around to writing a review. When it comes to car repair and maintenance centers around Redlands, this is the best place! "Old School" They do a thorough evaluation of my car, no matter what service I am there for. They will remove the tires to check the brakes, inspect air conditioning, tires and tire pressure, windshield wipers, engine mounts, air filters, almost everything, keeping records of what they see. Salerno's really knows my vehicle and keep it serviced for me. They are honest, never feel pressure to do any service I am not ready to spend the money on at the time, and they are super knowledgeable. When I am talking cars with people, I always highly recommend Salerno's in Redlands for auto service.

Honest people. I had a flat and had to use the "donut" spare tire. It also went flat and a local dealership told me these spares were disposable and that I should buy a new one for $700. Salerno was fixing my tail light and noticed the flat spare. They fixed it for free. I found my new Auto Shop.

Salerno's is our go-to service center for our delivery truck. They know how to repair it and do it right every time. They are reasonable, trustworthy and as honest as the day is long. Even though it was new years eve and they could have told me no like five other places did, they took care of my car anyways. I have obligations that require my car and needed it fixed and they did an amazing job. Clear communication, very nice, personal, and car came back with no issues, id highly recommend going here

My Land Crusier started overheating on the freeway, found these guys right off the freeway exit. They were very nice, helpful and honest. Got my car fixed and back on the road.

I went to Salerno's for a 2nd opinion and was very happy i did. I saved thousands compared to the first quote i was given. Mark was knowledgable, took the time to explain everything, and spent my money as if it were his own. I am so thankful that i took my Tahoe to Salerno's and i will definitely be returning. Out of town and got a flat tire, they found the tire for us and got it put on quickly so we could get to the airport. So friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend.

Delivered a Penske truck rental at 1.5 hrs before the time specified on my contract. Gate was closed except for a walkway and discovered the office was locked. I found the owner and he stated he was closed. His attitude was poor. I did not see a self-service lockbox. If he had not been there I would have had to leave the truck on the street. He stated I needed to go online and see that he was closed on that day, despite what my contract said. I was able to leave the truck, but was not satisfied with the service.

Haven't had work done yet. They don't give diagnostic prices over the phone so I had to go in to find out. ($150) I think the price should be given over the phone. It's not like a quote on a repair n parts, it's a set price.

At first they where alright but i ask for a oil change and front brake that s all just for a simple v4 car and came out to estimate of almost $400 like wow! End up going to another place did it for $80
