If you own a Honda, Reid's is the only place to have your car serviced! They are reliable, honest, professional, and only use Honda parts! I won't take my Honda's anywhere else! You will be glad you went to them!

If you have a Honda you need to come here. They are so nice and efficient. A huge plus is that they don t over price. Their diagnostic alone is at least $20-$30 cheaper than other places I have been too. If you go to the dealership it s $160 for them to look at your car. They will help you in any way they can. I only wish I had known about this shop a long time ago.

Very honest shop! I went in and they figured out the issue was simpler than I anticipated. Saved myself at least 1,000 what the dealership would have charged. Will come again for more work on my car

[2/18/24]My CRV needed some work once again and Reid s were the first people I called. They took care of my issues. Didn t try to upsell me. Gave me all the information I was asking for about my repairs and completed the job super quick. My CRV is running top notch and I appreciate them for being such professionals. I will be bringing all my Hondas here from now on.I normally don t trust mechanics and have learned to work on all of my cars myself but when I ran into an issue I could not solve and did not have the time to trace I searched for a reliable and well reviewed shops. Let me start off by saying that the women at the front desk are extremely knowledgeable and transparent. They took tons of notes and when they called back to tell me what was wrong with my car they gave me options on how to go about fixing the issue. Reid took care of my car, didn t try to up charge me or hit me with a bunch of jargon that most regular people wouldn t understand. They were extremely communicative and reasonably priced. I plan to bring all of my Honda s to this shop when issues arise as I now feel comfortable having found such a reliable and well priced mechanic.

3rd Mechanic stop on our way to SF. Quickly found our problem and fixed the mistake the previous mechanic had caused while trying fix a different problem. We showed up, he solved our problem, and then we left about 15 mins later. They were super nice to us. Huge lifesaver. Could not recommend them enough. Great people, great service.

Thirty-eight years after buying my first new Honda automobile -- and after 23-years of owning other makes -- I am now a Honda owner again. The first time around, I relied on an independent Honda shop for all the service I did not want to do. (Back then, I usually did all routine procedures myself.) Then and now, I feel more comfortable dealing with a local, small business rather than a dealership (YMMV). So, when it came time for the new car's first service interval, I did my usual thorough research, including asking for recommendations. I chose Reid's Honda Specialists and I am glad I did. This three-bay shop has the folksy look and easy-going culture that I like. All my dealings with staff were straight-forward, with all work explained before it was done. The woman up front (Nicole) could not have been nicer and the technician who serviced my car was fast and efficient. This place has been operating in the same town, by the same family, for 38-years. I was very happy with my experience here and I will return for future services. Reid's Honda Specialists is Highly Recommended. REVISED - I have reduced the former 5-star rating to a 3-star, at least temporarily. Here's why: A week after the service reviewed above, my new Honda suffered a serious complication, one that was potentially catastrophic, and the cause turned out to be Reid's fault, by their own admission. During one of the procedures that was performed, the technician failed to properly secure a part, which led to the car becoming totally disabled while I was driving it. Except for my quick action on the road, the car's engine could have been severely damaged. After Reid's personnel examined the Honda -- and to their credit -- admitted the mistake, they took full responsibility for the error and fixed the problem. So, for me, Reid's is now on probation and my future business with the shop will determine if their Google Rating will improve. Stay tuned. As of this moment, I cannot recommend this establishment. REVISED - Since my last entry, I have had other work done on the car and I was very pleased with the service. In particular, I would like to acknowledge the effort expended by Nicole, who worked with my Aftermarket Service Policy company to get the repairs done with minimal involvement from me. The technicians diagnosed the problem in minutes, the parts were ordered immediately, and the repair was complete by 12:00 Noon the following day. I have added another Star to the rating, as they have now demonstrated that they are an efficient and fair outfit. Once again, I can recommend Reid's Honda Specialists.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto water leak repair, Tire rotations, Auto maintenance

I love that this place is honest. I have a power steering pump issue, but instead of gouging me for $1600, they gave me an easy solution that I could do on my own.

I love Reid's. I have a 2000 Honda Civic with over 200,000 miles and it runs like a top. They never do anything that is not needed and let me know what can be "lived with" and what needs to be fixed right away.Last week they had to pull my console out to correct something and they fixed my power outlet for free while they had the car apart. No Charge!!!Great people, great work, and a truly honest mechanic.I will go there forever.

They are ripoffs and the middlemen are so clueless about the problems..all they say this warning light went on and needs to be replaced without telling u mechanically what's wrong..don't fall for them being friendly..you'll get burned with the bill

Had work done here and my vehicle is now worse then before I took it in. I was given excuses like "we're getting into an engine we've never been in" etc. Isn't every new vehicle that comes in a new engine you've never been in? Ofcourse now the vehicle needs another part, mind you Reid's did the initial diagnostics on the car and none if this was an issue. I did the repairs THEY recommended. There wasn't engine noise, and now there is. There is some type fluid all over the chassis of the vehicle, they told me that a $700 might fix the issues. Really? Might? My vehicle now doesn't run, it's broke down, and it used to run just fine only had a check engine light on. Anyways, this is just my own experience with this shop. I have friends that like Reid's.

Had a check engine light come on in my Acura. Called Spreen and it was $49.99 to check it. I then called Reid's and they just said no charge, just bring on it on by. It only took then 4 minutes to plug the computer in and tell me what the light code was. He recommended a plan to bring it in down the road with no pressure. Definitely taking my car back there!! Quick service, friendly and honest. Glad I found someone I can trust close to where I live.

This place is MAGICAL , I'm still not quite sure how I found it but I was looking for a shop to perform the infamous 105k service (Honda product owners will understand lol). I called a bunch of places from Los Angeles to palm springs searching for a specialist to do the job and I came across Reids , They originally quoted me around $1800 for the 105k service , Valve adjustment , differential service , oil and filter change , transmission service. So anyone that knows prices for mechanics that actually know what they are doing will know that that is just simply an amazing value for those services with parts and labor. They didn't stop there in fact they weren't even close to done , I had bought the car from carmax about 2 years back and purchased the additional "maxcare" plan for the car thinking it was the smart buy but when I tried to use it at an authorized Goodyear full service repair shop they ended up keeping my car for a full week and maxcare only paid for 2 out of 7 days of the rental leaving me with $300 still owed to Enterprise rentals and an exceptionally FAT repair bill (in excess of 2K) that I was solely responsible for at that point I kind of gave up on maxcare and accepted the fact that they were useless. Fast forward 2 years and Reids has my car for 5 days , already on the 2nd day the mechanic had found like 3 leaks and some motor mount problems and that same day Nicole and Ramona (the AWESOME and EXCEPTIONAL receptionists of Reids) had the claims authorized and approved by Maxcare I couldn't believe it , by the time it was all said and done Reids had performed well over $4k (could be more) worth of work between pulling the motor completely and trans completely replacing all seals and all motor mounts. I walked out of there paying $1600 even , the amazing receptionists at Reids were even able to get some of the labor on the original requests when I dropped the car off covered by the insurance WOW...... just WOW.... I picked the car up Friday around 12 pm and proceeded to take a trip out to the Salton Sea area in Imperial County (plenty of open roads and space out there to test some things out). After well over 300 miles it honestly runs and drives like new THANK YOU so much to the good people of Reids Honda/Acura specialists in Redlands Ca , this is by far the best place to being your Honda/Acura products you won't regret it.

I asked for my alternator to be replaced because that's what a test at AutoZone said. They tested the problem and said it was just the battery. I was happy to get out of there with the $160 for battery. But this shows me they are honest, and that is very important in a mechanic.

This shop has been there for decades. They know Honda's and Acura's just as of not better then dealership shops. Always accuate diagnosis and repair.This is old school honest auto repair.

HThere is no other that I will let work on my car!!! Ray is the best and has been working on my cars for over 10 years with no problems at all. The front desk is very friendly and Reid is the best. I even ordered a new car key and received it in maybe 3 days at the most. THIS IS THE HONDA REPAIR SHOP!!! Love you guys...MonaLisa MackLamore

My inlaws took my wife's car here. They did an "inspection" and checked all the fluids, swapped the oil and trans fluid. Good job.Then it gets weird. Mind you, I drive this car usually once a week. They talked them into new front struts, claiming it to be an emergency, and they should schedule an appointment asap. I looked at it, ok the shock boot is split and a small amount of oil coming out. So it's on the way out. The car still drove straight and true, with no noticeable chatter, with only the beginning signs of the corner needing to be replaced, but ok, at least I dont have to do it, and I didn't pay for it. They charged for than a grand. The struts are sub par. Now it feels like an over weight caddy that floats instead of a honda.They never checked the inside brake pads. They swapped the struts, remember? After 2 weeks, I drove it again and the brakes were grinding. Had they checked, it would have been added to the bill, and I never would have batted an eye. They almost had to take the calipers off in order to swap put the struts! Seriously?I swapped the pads out, now 1/4 of the face of her new slotted rotors are thrashed. While doing the drivers side, I noticed fluid running down the side of the trans. They even topped off the "low" brake fluid and STILL didn't check all the pads, even with the brake pad window in the caliper pointed at the mechanics face! Seriously.....I'm at a loss. That's a chance to look, easily, and remove 1 bolt more to make an extra 50 bucks, after the inspection revealed low brake fluid(hint: it usually doesn't disappear unless there's a leak, which is super scary and dangerous!) and now I'm out pads and a brand new rotor.I know they are human, but the #1 money maker for a shop like this is wear parts. I won't let them take their cars here anymore.BTW, the parts and fluids they put into this car, probably cost them $150-200 tops, and they did about 2-4 hours of labor depending on how fast they are. Charged just over $1000.They may be cheap"ish", but the quality isn't there.Only take your car here if you know what is wrong, and want them to do something specific.Also ask what parts they are putting into it(brand, price, options). Not all parts are created equally!Dont expect them to inspect your car properly and give you peace of mind.

Been going to Reids for over 20 yrs now . If you own Honda or Acura . Only place you need to go . Reid is a straight shooter . He'll tell you exactly what's wrong with your vehicle. And , never ever try to sell you anything unnecessary.
