These guys are very professional. I I've been taking my vehicle there for the last 8 years and they are not the cheapest, but they do quality work. I feel confident when I pick my car up from them.

My sons GTI all of a sudden would not stay running. I read a bunch of reviews and then had his car towed to Foreign Auto Tech . They are correct Yasser and his guys are honest and do a good job. Although the tech forgot to investigate an engine oil leak as well as fix the staying running issue Yasser said just bring it back and they will id the oil leak. I will be back with my other cars.3/29/24 We ll I gave them another try. My 2014 Outback was making an odd noise when you would slow and or come to a stop. It sounded like it was in the transmission. I flushed the trans oil I changed the brakes still the noise was there. I m kind of mechanical but not a mechanic. I called Yasser he remembered me from the GTI. He explained they can look at the car but they are not a transmission shop meaning if it is internal to the trans they will not open up the trans. I dropped it off after work one evening the looked at it an determined it was a transmission mount. They order it from Subaru and replaced. Cost for parts and labor $431 with about half being for the OEM part. Twice now Yasser and his team have hit it out of the park.Thank you and I ll be back again!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

10-19-23. Don t bring your car here. They have had almost 3 months to replace a high pressure pump on a 2002 ALH TDI Jetta due to a fuel leak but now the car does not drive without stalling. It did NOT do this before the attempt to replace the pump. The pump has been installed, but incorrectly timed, and they are blaming everything but the pump timing now. Sure is funny that when we get on them to recheck the timing on the pump it all of a sudden runs a little better. You are getting closer to the correct timing guys, but it is still not close enough to drive. They do not have the knowledge or experience to replace a high pressure fuel pump, and they are saying that they need someone come look at it?!? I thought this place would be doing the repair, not trying to, then farming it out. This review will stay up till the issue is resolved and I will update it when it is running, and I ll say who actually fixed it.10-19-23 After starting car and attempting to drive it, it is obvious that the injection pump is incorrectly timed and possibly the cam timing is off, the timing belt has to be loosened to replace the injection pump. No one in the place has the knowledge or experience to determine this. The vehicle is being sent to the local VW dealer11-1-23 The timing was off for the cams and the fuel pump per VW. Also has a leak from the fuel pump now. This place really messed up the car. One chance will be given to correct the situation. If no agreement can be made a law suit will be filed and a case open with the Bureau of Auto Repair. AVOID THIS PLACE !!!11-18-23 What started out as a $600 pump replacement turned into a $2581 repair bill at VW. The injection pump was 90 degrees out and the cam timing was off on both cams, we re lucky engine damage was not done. Also a turbo leak had arose and VW said it may need a turbo. I went thru all intake manifold bolts and found that the 2 bolts for the EGR pipe were not even finger tight! They took off the manifold and forgot to bolt the EGR up. It now runs perfect. I was a mechanic for years, I went to college, obtained ASE certifications and have repaired many vehicles. This time, the customer had more knowledge than the repair shop, and they did not even have a clue. I was told that I did not know anything and the pump was correctly timed . I would not let this place even take a wheel off. They might forget to tighten up the lug nuts. Adios !!!

I've been going to this mechanic for years, And normally they would give you five star service, But this last time there was a huge lapsing communication, the mechanic messed up my car, kept my vehicle for over two weeks, with no compensation on the rental car. It sucks when you have to call your mechanic every day because they are not calling you back to let you know about your vehicle. Made excuses and gave me the run around. I would have never imagined posting something like this before, but when it is good it's good, when it's bad they're not the one. Would have never imagined that they would have dropped the ball so bad for a mistake that was their own.

I recently took my A7 to the team at Foreign Auto Tech and I had to take the time to write a review because they were great. I was tired of going to the dealership and getting reamed every time. If you are looking for a highly knowledgeable, trustworthy and not expensive shop I highly recommend these guys!

This is an outstanding shop. I've been taking my Mercedes here for a few years now, and I've never been disappointed. They do good work, and they are very honest. I highly recommend them.

This place may have been good at one time, but we had the worst experience. Brought in a vehicle to have the AC serviced, they claim they charged it and was working fine. We picked it up and it was blowing hot air. The owner was unapologetic, and says bring it back next week. We did at 8am, wasn't even looked at at 1030am. They claimed they drive it around the building and was working fine. They never tested it thoroughly then admitted they had no idea what the problem was. We got our money refunded and will be going to Audi to fix what they couldn't. The office staff was nice and apologetic but unfortunately the owner couldn't care less. Will never bring a vehicle here again.UPDATE: Audi dealer stated that the vehicle was overcharged with freon throwing a code and preventing the AC from turning on. If a service center can't recharge an AC system correctly or read codes there's no way they can be trusted.

Foreign Auto Tech of Redlands has been my go to for the past 20 years. Cal, Sid, Wally, Yaser and the entire team provide excellent customer service. Their prices are fair and the quality of service is 2nd to none. I highly recommend having your vehicle serviced at Foreign Auto Tech.

I have been using them for many many years. I been used them even in their original location in the same complex. Their owners and staff have always been excellent in every way. They have service my Mercedes, Volvo, Miata ,and BMW's as if they were their own cars. They are honest, reasonable, and just wonderful people.

I brought in my 07 Mercedes S550, was having some electrical issues. These guys are gentleman, quoted me a more than reasonable diagnostic fee, and kept me in the know as their investigation progressed. Very fair pricing, un-like the dealer who would of totally took advantage of a what seemed a simple repair.They came highly recommended and I can see why. Wally actually came out and showed me the bad parts and explained things to me. Washed my car... surprise again.I finally found a local trust worthy shop that specializes in Euro automobiles.Thank you gentleman,Rustin Marion

good customer service but bad with waiting period. Sadly its been 6 MONTHS and i still dont have my BMW transmission fixed. I brought my car end of March 2021 and in September 2021 they finally got to taking a look at it and telling me i need a transmission. Its Now October 5th and i still dont have my car back. They have kept my car 6 MONTHS Yes. 6 GAWD DAMNNn MONTHS. Ill be paying the other half of the transmission once they finish the job, maybe in the year 2023 once they finish. I just keep getting that tomorrow it will be done. Same story over and over. Who knows, maybe once they return my car and if they do a good job on the transmission replacement after a few months if my cars transmission runs great still i will reconsider editing the review for the update.Service: Transmission

They are not what i was told as far as professional there not. They even tried the Bs lie trying to say i need a new engine which i know 100% bs on there part because it was in the shop as we talked i tried to get a break instead they wanted stick it in me. Oh they still have not given a price or even taken a look at the car i made it easy because i know the problem head gasket is all car never got hot yet but they are sure it needs a new engine total bs lie to drain ur pocket. If they cant do the work say so but lie ? ? 0 stars out of 5 they made me have to give 1

It's not cheap but the crew and the owners are extremely gentle to deal with, They know how to come up with a diagnosis. without the meaning of miss leading you on what is wrong, they do not go on assumption so quickly just to sale you out something that do not need to be done. I guess working on foreign car is not a easy task, the good thing they are using good parts to work on a good deal cost for you. You can be sure they are working professionally on your car and not try to under mind your needs just because they have a better client on a another stand. Nothing can be so cheap when we own a foreign car like my 2004 station wagon BMW, but at least my car is in between good hands and that is a rare thing to find in this area. Bravo guys for your professionalism and for being kind to people while dealing business.

They are the only auto shop that I will take my foreign vehicle to. I've taken them my BMW before with radiator problems and a few gaskets to be changed, they have the best team of mechanics. When I got my BMW she was running stronger then before. I just recently I took them my Audi with what we thought was a flywheel problem they looked at the car and determined that it was the suspension or the axle actually which made the repair cost to my vehicle a little bit cheaper and they also did the preventative maintenance service on the Audi. My car is running strong and you can really feel the horsepower in my baby now. I recommend this auto shop to anybody they work with you on the cost and repairs and service with the you. As long as I live in Southern California in the County of San Bernardino Foreign Auto Tech are my mechanics.

I take my car here and have for years! They are a family owned business and do great work!! They work on foreign cars only(Mercedes , Jag , Volvo , BMW ,etc..) Great prices for quality work and also great customer service!

Customer service is always great, very patient and knowledgeable! Pricings are pretty reasonable. Took my E30 to them 2 times already and been satisfied with their work! My go to spot from now on. Thanks again for the service!

Been taking our imports there for over 30 years, wouldn t go anywhere else. Quality service, fair prices and just great people to work with...even sold our classic Mercedes for us in a couple days.

Had my Mercedes here they had my car for two weeks!!! 2 weeks!!!! They claimed that the key was causing the car to not start so they ordered a new one. Ok so, after 2 weeks of not having my car guess what!!?? The same problem, no start. So I decided to take it to a different Mercedes mechanic they found the problem, battery was dying witch caused the ignition switch to fail needles to say I had to have those two items replace the price was reasonable, o! btw the key that they said that was causing my car not to start, yea it works alone with the new one. Never again will I use this shop nor reference anyone here!

Great repair place if you are looking to get your Eroupean car repaired. You ll save a lot more money bringing your car here then at the dealership.
