I ve been to Underhood many times and every time I have the same experience! A GREAT EXPERIENCE! Fair prices, great customer service and a job well done! Chris is always honest and trustworthy!

I would not send anybody who doesn't have some knowledge of mechanics. They charged an 80 year old woman $600 for an oil change/flush....and didn't even put a new oil filter on her car. Not just that, there was a faulty part and although it had warranty she was charged all six times they replaced this faulty part, in less than a six month time period. They tried putting blame for these six faulty parts and failure, due to "how she drives". Let me repeat she is 86 years old. I dont' think she hot rods her car. I feel that they see a customer that they can take advantage of,,,, THEY WILL. How is a headlight restore every invoice she has from them, costing $60 . Its crazy. So please think twice before bringing your car here.

Get things done right the first time by a quality mechanic shop, not only do these guys do great work but they also usually put a guarantee behind it. Pay once for quality product at underhood auto..quit settling for the rest when you can have the best

Chris explained everything in detail concerning my truck's issue. Ordered the part, made the appointment. The part was replaced and job completed in the time promised.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging. They're nice people who are willing to go the distance without making it seem like a demanding job. I highly recommend them, and I will return with my car needs in the future.

Was traveling north and these guys fixed a radiator hose at the tune of $440. I didn t get but 50 minutes outside of town the next day when I picked my car up and the same problem I paid them to fix happened again and left me stranded in the middle of nowhere. Granted they said they don t usually work on VW but the problem was east to see. I ended up fixing it myself for $75 in parts and about 15mins of time.

I find Underhood Auto to be honest and caring about my auto care needs. Jamie, the owner, is around more often and that gives me piece of mind, I take my vehicle here when it needs upkeep. I would suggest giving them a try.

Beware!!! They quoted over $6000 for repair on my son's truck for repair. We knew the timing belt may have broke but this truck had a protection system which would protect the broken timing belt from damaging other parts. They claimed other parts were damaged which is why the high quote. We towed the truck to a reputable dealer for another diagnostic. They said $2000 for the timing belt but we were lucky to have this protection system in place, since it did not damage any other car parts. We had to pay Underhood for a diagnostic but they were either not honest or not experienced with their diagnosis.

I've taken my vehicle in twice for service here and have interacted with several employees. All of those interactions have been great! The employees have always treated me with positive, friendly customer service paired with clear, transparent communication on what's going on with my vehicle and what's needed to complete the work (which I greatly appreciate as a woman who's had negative and condescending experiences at other auto mechanics'). They've been very accurate with their time estimates needed for the scope of work and their pricing has been very reasonable. I will definitely be returning here for future vehicle service needs. Jamie is great. I had my car serviced & they treated my car like it was there's.Top of the line service. Quality work, most of all I trust them to do a super Job, that I have peace of mind driving in my car. This is on thing I don't have to worry about.I will be back for oil change and other things I might need.

Had my power steering go out on the way to work this morning. These guys got me right in and both identified and fixed the problem quickly and professionally. Totally saved the day because my family can barely function without two operational vehicles. Friendly service. Very knowledgeable about my vehicle!! Went above and beyond...fixed some trim that was hanging off my vehicle and didn't even change which Subaru dealership was going to even though it was a quick fix. Greatly appreciate the service! I went there to get a diagnostic done on my car, mind you, it was late in the day. The crew wasted no time and diagnosed my car and had it fixed fairly quickly. I am very grateful they got me in at the last minute on a Friday. I have always, and will continue to recommend this place for their honesty, and professional attitude. The staff took the time to make sure I understood what was happening, and why. Great experience!

I recently brought my new (used) car in for a smog cert. I was so impressed by the level of service Jamie provided. Not only did he get me in for a same-day appointment, but when I asked if he also had time to check my tires and look at my engine for any potential issues, just for my peace of mind, he didn t even hesitate. I d definitely recommend going to Underhood if you want fast, honest, and reliable service.

I have looked along time for a great mechanic and someone I can trust to take care of my car.Underhood Automotive did a great job to get my car fixed. I highly recommend this company.Jaime was so great to come and pick me up when my car was finished. I certainly appreciated it.

Jamie has been the best when it comes to fixing both our vehicles.He also was kind enough to bring a battery jumper unit to where we were to restart our battery after a family member left the radio and ran the battery down. Of course we on the other side of his business, thank goodness.If you are looking for an honest mechanic and staff, call his business. We have been so pleased with his service I will not take our vehicles to anyone else.

I had an oil leak and Jamie and team were able to get me back on the road for less than I was expecting for this type of repair. As a bonus, fixing this and replacing my spark plugs has improved my gas mileage and the effectiveness of my a/c. I m so happy to keep my high mileage vehicle going strong for the last 7 years for way less than a car payment.

I visited Jamie's shop to get a quick diagnose of my axle to determine if a repair was worth doing given that I am planning to sell my vehicle. Jamie took a quick look as I didn't want to pay for a full on inspection. They quickly recognized that my axle was fine and only needed new bushings.But he felt I could get my asking price without doing the repairs and recommended I just sell the vehicle rather than spending money I wouldn't get back. Amazing honestly just as all the other reviews say.

They answer the phone at 0730 am and that impresses me! Then they had my truck finished the same day. Upper radiator hose and thermostat. I started taking my truck to Jaime 2 years ago when I called around comparing shop rates and Jaime was charging $87 when everyone else was charging $115. He has a locked yard which is also important to me. Honest customer service here.

We have been taking all of our vehicles for years to Jamie at Underhood. He and his team are the only people we fully trust to be fair, honest and fix the real problem correctly in our area. The pricing is fair and the service is friendly and quick. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing vehicle work.

Had a taillight out. They fixed it right away, no waiting time at all. Then they didn't charge me for it. Very nice people. Will be going back again.Update: My car was making a weird sound. I drove over without an appointment and Jamie immediately came out and took a look and drove it around. By this time the sound had gone away (of course) so the problem wasn t identified, but when it comes back, I will be heading over to Jamie.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are great. I went into Jiffy Lube for a routine oil change/ transmission flush on the missus car. Found out the motor mounts were broken! I took the car to Jaimie and he got it handled for considerably cheaper than my usual mechanic no questions asked. In and out in the same day and my family is back on the road. Hopefully, I don t need to go to a mechanic again soon but if I do, it ll be these guys!Thanks Jaimie.

Been taking ours cars to Jamie for years, he keeps trying to move so we will stop coming .....just kidding wont go anywhere else to have cars worked on. He tells it like it is, fair pricing in an industry that is not know for this. It's so expensive to maintain your cars it's really nice to go somewhere and not worry about being overcharged.

My dad has followed Jamie through every shop he worked at for over 40 years, and into this shop. Whenever car repair comes up in conversation, dad always talks about how good and fair Jamie is, and that he is truthful about prices and what actually needs to be fixed. (Dad is an amateur mechanic so he is able to tell when professional mechanics try to tell you things need to be fixed to get more money from you.) I was happy to finally meet Jamie when I went with my bff to smog her 1st car. He was friendly but professional, made sure to go over the details of what he would do and answer our questions, told us if anything needed fixed to pass smog that he would get my friend's permission and go over the additional prices before doing anything. He was faster than we anticipated but also did the smog competently. He was fair in his price. My bff will be going to him for any additional car repair that comes up. We were both impressed about everything from making an appointment to paying to being able to leave with a correctly smogged car.

It s hard to find a honest and good customer services now a days. I called a few company and decided to go to Jaime/owner of Underhood Automotive. Not only did he provide good phone etiquette but knowledge as well. On top of it all he took his time to text me a few weeks out to see how the car is running. I would recommend Underhood Automotive to anyone who s looking for honest and good customer services.

I love Underhood Automotive. They are professional, reasonable, I trust them completely! My Dad owned an automotive shop before he retired and after he retired he would do business with Jamie.
