This place is great! Such a friendly and knowledgable staff. I like going in there and seeing all the other Mercedes vehicles..I don't want to leave! Highly recommend Rich and his crew for all your Mercedes needs..there is no better place in my opinion. Thanks North Star Motors!

The guys here are rare for the industry if auto repair. More than helpful with all of my questions. A part that I ordered arrived 3 days sooner than expected which was extremely important as it was my power seats relay and my driver's seat was stuck too far forward. Since I got the part of Friday, I was able to drive during the weekend instead of having to wait until Monday. This saved me so much time and money. Highly recommend for ALL your Mercedes auto care.

This place is AWESOME, one of the best (if not THE BEST) service place! I had bought a Mercedes ML350 in southern CA and was on my way to WA state and had a breakdown. Found North Star Motors on my cell phone and called them and told them about my problem. Don Link told me to go there and he ordered parts, sent someone to pick them up, and he had my SUV ready to drive again within about 5 hours! INCREDIBLE! (This happened a few years ago, and I just found his business card and had to write a review because this place really deserves the very best reviews!) THANK YOU so much for the best service in a very short time! (Marita)

Called then and made an appointment for my 2002 S 500. Jessy was super friendly on point and very responsive. I could tell that their yelp reviews matched customer service. A few things I appreciate it was that they took me and my kids home and made sure I was safe and comfortable. Jesse even gave my two kids gifts that they really loved. I really appreciated that and so did my kids. Rich and Jesse, are very personable and what I love about Rich is that he tracks everything and when I say everything I mean everything he doesn t beat around the bush he tells you like it is and he make sure you understand your own car. The employees there Are also very friendly and on point with their customer service. You definitely get more value than what you pay for by going to see Jessy and Rich. Rich took care of my shifter that wouldn t go into gear and my gas tank level measuring part which wouldn t read how much gas I had. He made sure to replace everything seamlessly with everything put back together as if they were never their.

We brought our SUV in last week to be diagnosed for an engine noise. They were able to diagnose it promptly and order the part. We dropped it off yesterday for repair and they got it repaired. Very timely. It came back cleaner than it went in. They had very good communication as well.

Dropped my Mercedes GLA off with them this week for the first time to have my car serviced and a few other things. Didn t think my car could drive any better until I got it back from North Star! They have it driving better and cleaner than when I dropped it off. The owner is a super nice guy and my husband said his technicians are just as great. Super thankful for the amazing job they did on my car. Will definitely be a long time customer! Thank you again!

Would 100 percent recommend north star motors! Rich is extremely nice and will taylor his service to your specific needs! Since I was on a budget, Rich explained to me what part of the service was urgent and what could wait a bit longer :) He informed me i really needed new tires instead, and i should best spend my money on new tires and wait with the full service:) He recommended me a great place to get my tires exchanged and even asked them for an estimate for me and advised me what tires would work with my car. He also explained to me what services will need to be done in the future and at what point and how much it should cost and adviced me how to go abt finding a good place to get it done (i am moving to LA area next week). I am really greatful, because i am new to cars and didn t know any of these things. Couldn t have found a better place! :)

Rich and the North Star team are amazing!Excellent service, kind and professional, honest and transparent. It doesn t get better than this.If you own a Mercedes Benz, look no further. This is the only place I trust to service my beloved rare SLK 32 AMG.

Richie is most likely one of the best and nicest mechanics I have ever met. I have know Richie and Jessie for a very long time. You can be sure you are in good hands if you bring your Mercedes to this shop. You can trust they will do the job right the first time here.

Excellent customer service....and I do not own a Mercedes.....Rich and his crew took on the challenge of a 2007 Jeep Liberty ...and through persistence, excellent research and good old fashioned hard work...got me on the road again.... While at this facility I got to observe first hand how he/they treated other customers..... And hence the five star rating.....they are good !!!!!!! If you own a Mercedes product within 40-50 miles of Redding..this is where your maintenance should be...

The owner/mechanic was professional and knowledgeable about my brother's Mercedes' issue. He stayed after hours since AAA's tow service proved unreliable. He helped us get the car back to the Sacramento Mercedes dealership because the work was covered by warranty. If we lived closer, we would definitely use his services.

We had the Low Engine Oil light come on in our ML 320, while traveling in the area. Don was super helpful - he topped off the oil and got us on our way. There isn't a Mercedes dealership in Redding and glad we found North Star Motors. It was reassuring to have the car be seen by a shop experienced with Mercedes maintenance and repair. Very friendly and fast!

This place is fantastic. I had a check engine light come on while driving to oregon. The owner of the shop took his time to make sure it was safe for me to continue. I would trust him with all my vehicle repairs

They were able to re-adapt the torque converter on my car, instead of replacing it. I am so grateful that they repaired it and saved me money, instead of assuming it needed to be replaced. The service was wonderful, they explained everything well and even washed my car before I picked it up.

Was on a trip stopping in Redding and about 50 miles out the transmission stopped working properly on my 2016 Metris. Shop was very busy and does not work on Metris or Sprinter, but they did hook up the diagnostics and found bad L rear wheel sensor and were able to reset it so I could drive home. No charge. Don is the one person in Redding I would trust with classic Mercedes. He is very experienced and super fast. Would highly recommend North star motors for your German car

Don. WOW! Superhero. He is the nicest guy and he helped me so much with my car and potentially saved my life from a terrible gas leak that was going on in my car. We also were blown away the customer experience so much so that it made my disappointment turn into dancing. Literally. He is a great salsa dancer just ask!!!
