Kirk Taylor is very friendly, caring and courteous. He got my car on a lunch break, and took great care of it immediately. He's very honest and professional. I found him through a referral, and I highly recommend his work!

They're THE GM Shop in Redding! When you want dealership depth knowledge at a reasonable rate for service. These guys can't be beat. I only go here, on my 4th GM vehicle over my driving life and they've never been serviced anywhere else. Kirk has found stuff the Dealerships missed! You won't be disappointed.

Service was awesome at the beginning for oil change, transmission maintenance and filters to replace.Asked for quote on oil leak which was provided at under $200. Scheduled appointment and when I arrived, Kirt said he just looked up the information to work on my car and that it will take more than a day to work on it and he'll have to reschedule. A new quote was provided for under $900. I let him know I'll need to check my schedule. Once I got the ok from my husband set a date for a Tuesday in June 2023.With a week notice, had to reschedule due to business and Kirt GM scheduler rescheduled to end of July 2023. Kirt (owner) called me shortly after and said he didn't want to work on my car and then said he doesn't feel comfortable working on my car then said it was due to scheduling a few times.Never have I ever had anyone treat me like this. Not the away to treat customers! Unprofessional!

Kirk has been working on my families cars for 20 years. He's always been professional and courteous. He's always worked with us when we were in bind and always gave us a fair price. Recently he replaced my starter last minute on a Friday, and stayed late past closing time to give me the time to get there to pick up my car. He always greets you with a smile and leaves you feeling good about his service.

Kirk got me in with only 1 days notice. Fixed my climate control at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this shop highly.

Kirk Taylor is one of the best GM mechanics we have in Redding. His prices are fair and he is very honest with his clients. He takes good care of everyone's vehicle, and he has the vehicle in, fixed, and out as soon as possible. The vehicle also stays fixed. He rebuilt my transmission in year 2002, and it was like new, I have not needed it repaired since.

Kirk Taylor is very professional, as are his employees. What he says he will do is what you get . He worked on my Subaru and I now have a Buick Lucerne he will be doing the vehicles next service and any future repairs.A man that I trust and would recommend to anybody.

Came in to see if they can look at my truck today but they were back up a month ahead but kirk took his time n check my truck real quick n was able to spot the problem (bad alternator) n showed me what i needed to do if i was gonna fix it myself. For someone who barely touches any car i was able to change the alternator within two hours n problem was solved all thanks to Kirk at Gm specialtymany thanks will go there againService: Electrical

I look my 2002 Jeep to Kirk's GM shop because there was a problem with the steering. Little did I know, I had a bad control arm that was very dangerous. Kirk was able to not only fix my steering problem but diagnose the bad control arm and fix that as well!THANK YOU KIRK!He earned himself a customer for life after protecting the safety of my and my kids! I now take my Jeep to him for all of my oil changes and he always provides good customer service. I have recommended him to my friends and two of my friends now take their cars to him as well. We live in Anderson but it is worth the drive to Redding when I get my oil changed.If you want your car fixed right the first time, go to Kirk's gm specialty!!!

Recently bought a truck from a local dealer and the instrument cluster went out. The dealer called Kirk Taylor and had me an appointment the next day they rebuilt the whole cluster in a few hours and knew exactly what had went wrong with it. If you have a GM don't hesitate on bringing it here.

Took my 2009 Saturn Aura to Kirk for a pre-sale inspection. Great price and great service. A part was ordered and replaced the next day. Very friendly and honest.
