My new Class B (under warranty) was with them for many months. Eventually it was partially fixed. However, I did all the work. They followed up on nothing. I ended up talking to the manufacturer, to the charging system vendors and finally the lithium battery manufacturer, all their job. I negotiated getting the batteries replaced as well as having the manufacturer pay for the install. Luckily I could stay with a friend so I had a place to live. I was down 4+ months because of their incompetence. On the day I picked up my finished van the control pad that controlled all the RV functions wasn t working. Luckily my phone had an App that did the same thing so I left and had it fixed at another dealer when I got home (NC).Jess my service writer was very nice. However, he seemed to not read email or listen to his voicemail. Communication was horrible. I lost so much time because of his lack of follow up.Although BC/BD did the physical work, I did everything else. I was a 40 year supply chain and manufacturing guy so I was capable. I m not sure someone who didn t have those skills would have gotten it done.In the end I asked Jess for email copies of the service record showing when the batteries were replaced. I ve sent him 3 messages over several months to remind him. They never came. Par for the course.BC/BD was a horrible frustration.

Rob and the crew and the service department delivered our new motorhome with a rare attention to detail that was amazing. We have not experienced anything wrong with the unit after it first break in outing which is a first for us buying our third RV. Rob spend the extra time to go over details that will help us maintain the slide and other important features of the coach.December 2023 update:We tried to return to blue Compass RV service for our first warranty work. Rob has gone next-door to the south and needless to say it was not the same experience. We will not be returning. There are lots of options other than blue compass RV service in the Shasta county area.

My husband and I purchased a fifth wheel from Blue Dog RV in Anderson, Ca. It came with a few service issues from the factory. We had to take it to the service department to resolve these issues.. our External Service Advisor was Jesse. He was very kind and listened to all of our needs. He fixed our trailer in a couple of days. The one thing that stood out about Jesse was his HONESTY about everything. He was phenomenal and very professional an resolved our trailer issues. If you need service go to Jesse. He will be the one to take care of you.Robin and Tony Boban

I wrecked the side of my Reflection 303 at the end of Sept. contacted insurance and got approval to contact Blue Dog in Redding where I Purchased the 303 new. Contacted Jess and he had me bring the RV in to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired and I got it back today. Blue Dog changed ownership prior to my accident. I was blown away by Jess and his crew. They were professional, bent over backwards to please me, contacted insurance company on two issues, completed the work in record time, and allowed me to leave the business a very happy man. I highly recommend Blue Dog.

Although we didn't purchase our Montana RV from Blue Dog we had an issue with the hydraulic jacks which were installed by them. When we hooked our trailer up for travel, the front jacks went up and the remaining jacks stayed down making it impossible to move the trailer and also made it impossible to unhook the truck. We went to Blue Dog service to see if we could speak with someone and were treated very rude. We were told we couldn't speak with a service tech and we would have to bring the unit in. Since we couldn't unhook the trailer that was impossible. We then sought a mobile person and he came out and it didn't take but 15 seconds for him to tell us there was a reset button. He pressed it and as you would guess, we were back in business.

After previously having a great experience purchasing my RV from this location a couple of years ago I was in need of some parts for my unit due to having a tire blow.I called and spoke to Rachael. I gave her the part number and she said she would go check to see if they had one is stock. She came back and said yes they did. I said great. Do you want a deposit or I can pay for it now. She said that would not be necessary she would just put a note on it and say my name and that I would pay for it when I get it. That was this past Thursday, 9/7. I called her the next day, Friday 9/8 and told her I would be there Monday, 9/11 in the morning. She said she would be sure and have it where it was accessible. I arrived today at 10am and went to the parts department. I was told that Rachael was off today but Eric could help me. I met Eric who checked computer and went off to check for the part after he called Rachael at home but no answer. After a short absence Eric came back and told me there was no part there for me. He said Rachael called him back and said she saw one on the computer but never went back to see if it was there. So after driving 8 hours round trip and spending 130.00 on fuel and towing a trailer to carry the part I had to turn around and drive home with nothing. To say the least, I felt like she lied to me and to Eric. This sort of employee is who give companies a bad name. I had the utmost respect for Blue Dog in Redding but I wouldn't set foot in there for anything again and would tell everyone the same thing.

So far I have very good experience with the service department. I have owned 2 Grand Designs that was not purchased from them and they still helped with warranty issues. We are currently in the process of purchasing a 3rd Grand Design this time from them so look for my sales review.

Purchased my Reflection 337 rls from Blue Dog Redding. Have hade my forever warranty done each year by Blue Dog Redding. I have used Blue Dog for any and all work needed. This year was different. Made an appointment a week in advance. Brought RV in ontime and on schedule. Called two days later and they hadn't looked at it. I had to continue to call and and ask for information. Very poor communication andFinally went in on Thursday to pick up fixed or not. They said we would have get it done , give us until tomorrow to get it done. Only by being persistent did they finally do something. Very disappointing. Will not use them again!

Don t let the above Review stats sway you to use this company! Most reviews are from 2+ years ago, when they were a good company. Many reviews within the last 2 years are consistently in the 1-2 range. If there were options for Negative numbers, I m sure there would be some.We re feeling lucky because we did get some satisfaction when they gave us a refund, after it was proven to them, their tech clearly did a horrible job, on what should have been a routine repair. If you re looking for honest RV repair in the Redding area , and want to deal with people who care, and don t makes excuses. Try another vendor, possibly with the initials TC

BUYER BEWARE!!!!Although sales was wonderful, since then it has been an absolute nightmareI purchased the 2023 Aurora on 12/26/22. The coach was transferred to the service department for a routine QA review and to address any potential issues as expected with a new coach. It was noticed that the refrigerator was loose in its housing and was to be properly secured along with other minor adjustments before delivery. Once delivery was made, I had an opportunity to thoroughly go through all components and discovered the trim around the refrigerator was improperly mounted with several screws that were not properly secured to any backing, the trim was bowed at the bottom, the Trim around the inside of the door was extremely loose, The microwave did not work and a cross member behind the refrigerator was split at the mounting screw. With these minor issues and having had the coach only a few days in my possession I called and returned the coach to be corrected.I returned the coach to blue dog on 1/7/23 and after weeks with no communication from service department I contacted a representative who said the unit was ready for pick up on 2/14/23.On 2/18/23 I arrived to pick up the coach only to discover the coach was not ready for pickup as advised but in fact additional damage had been done to it while in their possession. While completing a walk around of the coach, I discovered the right rear tail light cover on the ground and both tail light assemblies quite loose, minor scratching to the left side window trim and to the right side front edge trim, wiring hanging loose under the coach and the key lock to the outside storage door had been damaged and was not functional. Upon further inspection of the interior work that was supposed to be performed I noted the refrigerator trim was remounted far beyond subpar with the edge screws mounted near the edge of the trim and was told that they were hardly attached to their support (clearly this would become an issue during any reasonable travel causing a failure). Additionally the old screw holes had been filled with wood putty in a very haphazard fashion. It is very concerning having bought a new coach, brought in with 4 relatively minor issues only to discover many more that were not present at the time the coach was dropped off. it certainly raises the question of what else will I find when and if the repairs are ever made or made correctly. My impression with blue dog service thus far is that there is no care or concern given to the property entrusted to the service department. I absolutely believe had I not completed a walk around and observed these issues, they coach would have been returned to me hoping I didn t notice and in a condition less than as purchased. This is not acceptable! Period. I do not think it unreasonable to expect a unit be returned in better condition than when dropped off not worse! It is now 3/17/23 and the the coach still sits with promise after promise and still no results, no calls, no action, no follow through No Nothing! The level of incompetence is second to none!People to be named in future reviews as this saga continues.

The guys at Blue Dog RV are just down right awesome. If you have an RV that needs collision or body repair, stop looking because these are your guys. Besides doing impeccable work and competitive rates, the staff is friendly and helpful.T care about you and understand that for a lot of us, this is our home. My RV was damaged on transport thanks to (Coast to Coast Transportation), and this was on my brand new 2019 Jayco Flight. They easily worked with my insurance company, on fact I didn't have to get involved at all, fight for anything or pay anything out of pocket. Because of a small dent on the upper left panel, in order to fix it back to off the lot quality, they said they would have to replace the entire panel, remove the slide, etc. All I was hearing was another month or so to get my RV back. The alternative they worked out with my insurance company, drop the deductible and fix the dent by hand. Well not only did they save me $500 but there's no way you would ever know there was damage unless you knew about it before hand. It looks brand new again. I can't thank you guys enough and I hope some business comes your way from my review. Nothing beats honesty, quality craftsmanship, and integrity and Blue Dog has it spades.

So disappointed with the service and their attempts to overcharge. Super unfriendly man at repair center. After trying to contact them by phone for two weeks unsuccessfully, we arrived to our appointment and felt as if we were inconveniencing them. I felt they were trying to take advantage of us by wanting to charge an hour of labor for each area of concern, just for diagnostic purposes not including the repair/parts. Do not recommend repair center.

Made an appointment for recall 3 weeks ago, took trailer in on the schedule appointment 5/24/23, they asked if I could leave it for a couple of days, no problem, called on Saturday the 27th and left message, no return, waited through the holiday and called again on the 30th and again no reply, so today 5/31/23 I just went down there to find out what is going on with my trailer, after waiting 1/2 hour ( only 1 service writer ) I ask how my trailer is doing, the device writer informed me that it probably is not done, he informed me that when you bring it in that there s a 2 week waiting time, I told him no one told me about this and why was I not told this when I made the appointment and insured me he did , I told he did not we go in our trip this Friday and I would not have brought it in , well as it turns out the trailer was done the same day 5/24/23, so if he is the only service writer then he should have been the one entering the technician notes and should have called me. So trailer is done and I can take it , he had the lot person bring it to the front . So we stoped at the key board by the exit door and asked for my keys, they were not there, he said I ll check with the technician and I ll meet you at your trailer, I looked in the trailer , the entry door was open and the keys were never tagged, so the trailer sat there on the lot open key on the counter for 7 days, and the service writer never came out, so I will never take my trailer back to them again

I could not rate this location any lower. I brought my RV in for its required annual service to keep the additional insurance I added active. They went over the planned service time by 3 days, however, since it s only a year old- minimal service was needed. To top it off, a slide was closed forcefully and a cable came off the track. They forced it closed and didn t tell me, I went to use the RV shortly after returning home and the entire slide was messed up, but they said for a warranty repair to be made I would have to schedule and they were 6 months out. This is among many other issues. Bottom line, I have never received poorer service from anyone. This location was terrible and on top of that, I will never purchase from Blue Dog again. I was taken advantage of and they fell extremely short of expectations.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim, Brakes

I would have given them less because the services they performed has been awful. The customer service has been awesome but that doesn't make up for it. All the work they have done has been awful, we put in a new kitchen ourselves and it is much better workmanship than anything they have done.

BEWARE! I needed warranty work on my trailer. This was the closest dealer which is 6 hours away from where I live. I told them I live full time in my RV and was traveling from far. They told me it would take 4 days so I got a hotel for the week drove there only for them to tell me it'll only take a day which is great but if that was an option why didn't they tell me from the begining I couldn't get all my money back from the hotel I booked cause they're notice was last second. Then they "fix" my trailer in 1 hour. But they broke my water pump in the process and told me to bring it back in. When I explained that I couldn't because I can't drive 6 hours there again the gas getting there and back alone was $500, they basically said there's nothing they can do. I brought it in for a simple leak and now I can't even use my shower or sinks at all. This will cost me almost a thousand dollars in gass and now the cost to fix their mistake. I left a voicemail for the manager and no call back. Wish I never took my trailer to them.

If I could give a zero that's what they would get from me. I have dealt with the for service on a recall and the service was less than satisfactory. Trying to get a hold of parts, and they do not answer the phone or return calls.

Google wouldn't let me write this review unless I deleted my first review of Blue Dog RV in Redding. It was a five start review. So here is the new review:It s been almost three years since we bought our Grand Design Solitude 310gk from Blue Dog RV on Westside Road in Redding. We were just there last week getting some work done on our refrigerator, and it s a pleasure to still give them a five-star review.Their sales department moved to a different location in Anderson, and the Westside location (4850 Westside Road, Redding CA) is entirely the Blue Dog RV Service Center now. We've seen some not so good reviews written in the past, and Blue Dog at Westside Road has a newer facility manager who is really doing a great job for the facility. In our 3 years, we've always worked with the service manager, Gary B., and he has consistently gone above and beyond in helping. He s been pleasant to talk and work with, and you can tell he really cares about the customer and getting them back on the road. You won't find a nicer and more laid back guy than him. A real pleasure to deal with.We ve had some problems with our RV, which all have been the fault of the manufacturer. Gary B. and his crew at Blue Dog have been absolute gems in helping us obtain authorizations from Grand Design and also from the manufacturers of the appliances in our RV.But we also realize the customer wields quite a bit of influence with the manufacturer of the RV and that we the customer have a responsibility try to and work in tandem with our service departments when it comes to getting authorizations from RV and appliance manufacturers. Between us, we ve been able to get all the repairs we ve needed over these last 3 years authorized. We think Blue Dog is Top Dog" in service after the sale.**We are real customers who bought a Grand Design 310gk in September of 2020 from Blue Dog in Redding. We are not related to anyone who works at Blue Dog and we travel 3 hours each way to get our RV serviced by them. And as said before, we are more than happy to give Blue Dog a 5-star review. They have earned it and deserve it.

Purchased a new RV through Blue Dog ....let's just say it's like dealing with cheesy used car salesman. Once you pay them for the RV you are on your own. They are not there for their customers. They will not return a call unless they think you are buying something.Would definitely not recommend anyone to purchase anything through them. I had to contact Keystone for help as it is not available via Blue Dog

Josh and Mike at Blue Dog were the most respectful and kind salesmen I have ever met! They were incredibly knowledgeable and honestly my whole shopping experience was a smooth process. I will definitely be going back to their Anderson location in the future as well as recommending it to anyone thinking about purchasing an RV.

Not happy with the service our 2019 Reflection received. The service workers are short and really don't listen. The men inside are very helpful and nice. Trailer was left there for recall work. Got it back and the wiring harness that plugs into the truck was pulled out and have undone. Husband had no trailer brakes for the pull up the canyon home. This is the closest to us for our recall and up keep on our lifetime warranty but we will be looking at another dealer to do the service work.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND Blue Dog RV Service center at 4850 Westside Road, Redding Ca 96001. I had my Forest River 2021 Work and Play 21LT trailer there for over 20 weeks for warranty work on five items, the most serious was the slide out which would not come out. I was in contact with Forest River the whole time, they were great. Blue Dog RV on the other hand kept giving me the runaround. I want to point out that not one time was Covid or supply chain problems in the conversation. This was just incompetent employees not following through on what they say they will do. They would not read emails from Forest River for weeks on end. I had to go into the shop and ask them to read their emails. I finally got tired of talking to the two gentlemen behind the front counter CJ and Kevin and after 13 weeks I asked to talk to the manager, Bryan Timmons. While sitting in his office I had him call Forest River so we could all get on the same page and get the repairs moving forward. Forest River needed certain information about the slide out problem from Blue Dog RV . On April 8th, 17 weeks into this mess, Blue Dog RV received a new slide out mechanism. On April 25th, 20 weeks, Blue Dog RV still had not started to work on my trailer. I went in and talked to Bryan again and he had the trailer pulled up to the work area that day and I got my trailer back on May 2. I asked Bryan Timmons for his boss's name which he gave me,Trent Brodie. I talked to Trent Brodie on May 16th and he said he would look into the whole situation.

The staff at Blue Dog were kind, friendly, and easy to work with. Mike spent over a week responding to me via phone and text as we don t live in the area. They did everything possible to make sure things would go smoothly when we arrived. Mike even helped answer some questions we had after we left. We came home with a great trailer and will definitely recommend anyone looking to go to Blue Dog.

Sales told me Keystone Dealers could help me anywhere, this isn't the case. Keystone dealerships wouldn't help because I didn't buy from them.Products, within days paneling and sofa started falling apart. Heating unit failed and has required service 5x.Service... Trent is a regional service manager. He never once delivered as promised on parts and reimbursements.Bryan the local manager promised all 13 items on my repair list would be completed and trailer ready for sales yard. I was told by service my trailer was ready for pick up.After driving 180 miles and an overnight hotel stay I discovered none of the work was completed. I left the trailer and was told to pick my trailer up the following weekend. After another 180 mile drive and overnight stay I arrived to pick up RV. The 1st this g I noticed was the paneling wasn't repaired as promised. So Bryan and I sat there for close to 2 hours as the work was completed.I sold the unit and the new owner called to say the kitchen faucet wasn't working which happened to be #1 on my list of 13 items to be repaired.Neither Bryan or Trent offered any assistance or reimbursements to repair this problem. To add insult to injury I'd purchased an extended warranty policy.Trent didn't have the decency to call with an apology, he just sent an email as he was " traveling " that day stating they HAD completed work.Caveat Emptor..buyer beware these are big ticket items. Go anywhere but Blue Dog because RV's will need service and no one deserves to be treated as I was.

I went with my parents to the local dealership to look at units. They are getting ready to retire and get "out on the road" to enjoy life. We met with a very nice, knowledgeable sale person who was not pushy at all. Big BONUS!! Because they just started looking, we went back on multiple occasions. But as the person who is there to listen to the information and put in a little amount of feedback, I was not there to make the decision. I think we looked for several weeks at different places...the thing that stood out at Blue Dog, every time we were there and the staff had to speak with the sales manager they had to wake him up!!!!! What a total JOKE! I think I heard them say "Mike" but still I can't get pass the fact that the guy couldn't keep his eyes open. I guess his job isn't important enough and I am glad that the staff does NOT follow the "Lead by example" rule because their "LEAD" is worthless!!!! Let just say I hope my parents make a decision to purchase where the management actually works with their team.......when I am in the market I will not go there. I can't support a business that does not support their own staff!

Let me start by saying I was thinking of driving 200 miles to look at camp trailers with my daughter. We decided to stay closer to home and only drove about 35 miles. I've owned camp trailers before but this is my first one that I bought that is brand new. My daughter and I walked in both knowing exactly what I was looking for. Josh was great to work with and answered every question we had and if he didn't know the answer he went and found out. We thanked him for all his help but wanted to go check a couple more places. Neither place had what I was looking for. In my mind was still thinking of trailer Josh had me sold on. We went to lunch, talked about the trailer, and decided that the 24' Keystone Outback was perfect. Had the queen bed I wanted, bunk beds, I only wanted one slide out, a back door for my kayak, but the most important thing I wanted was the outdoor kitchen. I got exactly everything I was looking for. If you go in Josh is great but I'm sure all the other salesmen are also. My overall experience was fantastic. If you're looking to buy a camp trailer go to all the people at Blue Dog RV in Anderson, California. You won't be disappointed. My only wish would be maybe in the near future they think of opening a store area and selling things for camping. I don't have a reason why to just stop by and say hi but if there was a store, I'd stop....just saying.....Blue Dog RV, You were all wonderful people to work with in finding my home away from home....Thank you so much!

Can t say enough good things about the service department at Blue Dog RV in Redding, CA. They provided a thorough walk through of our new Solitude. Answered all of our questions and didn t rush us. Followed up like promised on a couple of minor warranty issues. We didn t have a whole lot of contact with sales because most of our transaction was done over internet and phone. When we arrived in Redding, from Fresno, CA to pickup our new unit. We were greeted by our names as soon as we got out of the truck. Introduced to sales manager and finance manager. Our purchase was trouble free and pleasant.
