I had several problems with my 98 Chevy duramax 6.5, and I dropped it off with them, and they had it for 2 weeks only because I was out of town for the 2 week and it was ready when I returned. And now it is running great. THANKS

Chris and his wife as well as there employees are very polite and easy to work with! They worked over a holiday weekend to finish doing a engine swap in my work truck, Very hard working and smart mechanics!! I highly recommend to anyone in red bluff and surrounding areas that need anything done even a oil change! These guys are great! Always repaired correctly (I hate having to go to a place multiple times to have a place "fix" their repairs!), always tell you if there's a cheaper fix, never cancelled an appointment on me. I highly recommend The Garage for all your automotive repair needs.

Always honest and reliable. They have never tried to oversell me on parts and services that aren't needed. 10/10 best shop I've ever been to

The man and the woman the husband and wife were so kind of my mom they did a great job on her vehicle my mom trust them they helped her out years and years ago was some other vehicle issue and got her home safe cuz she used to drive for a living. I wish I had the words to express my gratitude in a way that uplifted their lives the way they've lifted at ours. People like this are what makes the world a better place. They live the example we are all human and flawed I'm not putting them on a pedestal that said they're humanness made them real and genuine you knew they had integrity and honor and honesty. Values I admire an aspire to. Thank you for being there for us we really needed you.

Wonderful service! Chris is a great mechanic! Our truck had problems on the first day of vacation. He was able to get the needed part and get us back on the road the same day. Very honest. Highly recommend!

The other day I had just gotten back into town from Redding and stopped at a store and my oil light came on. I checked my oil and there was none showing on the stick, which was strange since I had just had an oil change done a week or two before. I have had work done at The Garage before and I was just down the street, so I called them and explained what had happened and they said to come right over. The owner, Chris, got down and looked under the engine and saw that the oil drain plug was missing. He put a new drain plug in and new oil and I was good to go. And, he only charged me for the drain plug and the oil! I cannot say enough good things about this shop. Their prices are fair and their work is excellent. I used to work on cars so I know that they are very good and knowledgeable at what they do. If you have a problem with your vehicle, do not hesitate to take it to them. You will be glad you did.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

After checking my vehicle out with the tool that mechanics use, Chris informed me there was no reason I should have failed my smog test, yet I had. He charged me nothing (yes, nothing!) and pointed me in the direction of Antelope Auto, a different smog shop. I went there, promptly passed, and was on my way. This never would have happened to me in the city. I would have been charged for a diagnostic, charged for minimum labor time, and given no reliable alternative. He saved me a lot of money. I also returned to the first smog place, told him I was going to dispute the credit card charge, and he promptly refunded my money. A bad experience turned into a very good experience, and I found two honest and reliable people to deal with my old car. Thank you Chris! It s difficult for everybody to go to a mechanic but for an old woman it is especially so. I have 100% comfort in going to The Garage in the future.

This review is so OVERDUE! If I could, these guys would get 7 stars. I have repeatedly got good service from these people! Chris and Derek are rock solid good people (who fear God I may add). Which is why I know they would never cheat even the most elderly lady who brought their car in, or even a guy like me who was taken for a ride by a mechanic in San Diego back in 2003. Anyway I digress. So bring your vehicle here! These guys have been in business a short time, but the Lord has blessed them with no shortage of work. Believe me when I say they go above and beyond the call of duty. They also DON'T charge you for something that just took a minute or two to fix or diagnose. I also appreciate they have the 10 commandments hanging in the waiting room! AWESOME!

I had the clutchReplaced on my mustsng they were r true pros very polite, gave me a firm quote, just a great experience considering the situation. I will go back if I need any of my cars repaired. I recommend them highly

Chris and his wife run an excellent business. The quality of there work is the best around. I am very pleased at the time he takes to make sure my vehicle is done right. Prices very reasonable. Dont waste your time and money going someplace else. Thanks Chris.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!Thank you for helping us back on the road!A fuel leak kept us in town for over a week, costing way too much $$, and lost work hours. Visited another shop first, 2 repairs later the leak was still here. Drove by The Garage and pulled in. As soon as we said what was wrong, the Tech was nearly positive he knew what was wrong. He was right.An hour later, despite being booked, they had us on the road. Thank you so much! Leak is gone!

Well it seemed they were a 5 star mechanic, at first... They kept our daughter's truck for 2 weeks before quoting us $800 to do only a small part of the work it needs. Was then informed it would be almost a month before the work would even be started. I asked about bringing the truck home and was told I couldn't even get it back for 4 days. Their 5 stars dropped to 2 but google won't seem to let me change the rating. Dissatisfied and disappointed

They have amazing prices and do honest work! Their waiting room is amazing! Even though the problem is persistent on our car they haven't charged us anything extra and made sure our car was safe to drive on the road! Amazing team!

I dropped by after having radiator issues on the I-5.I was 600 miles away from home and they helped me right away. My radiator hose blew and they found a solution for me to get me on the road ASAP. The front desk lady is very nice and sweet, offered me Netflix and they had candy to help after a stressful situation. The gentleman dealing with my car seemed to be an honest man. On top of all of this they gave me a great deal! I could have expected to pay a lot more for the job at other auto shops. These guys are worth it.

The mechanic at the Garage gave me a huge break by saving 50 dollars for the diagnosis of my AC system. It brought a tear to my eye and I'm very thankful. I will be utilizing the Garage in the future.

These guys were kind, efficient, and ths waiting room was comfortable. Definitely a five star experience.We were on our way to Mexico from Washington State when our van encountered a number of complications. Not only were we able to call them as we limped into Red Bluff, but were able to get our van fixed and on the road in under an hour.Thanks you guys for great service!

Top notch! Chris was able to quickly determine the problem with our F-350. Had the part in stock. Installed very quickly and while parked in front the shop. Highly recommend this repair shop if you are in the Red Bluff area!. Thank you, Chris.

I went to The Garage last Friday morning May 31st at 9:00 and spoke with Chris about my 2004 Dodge Ram transmission issue. He said he needed to speak with his transmission mechanic took my name and phone number and said he would call me back. It will be a week tomorrow and still no call. I don't see where the 5 stars are coming from when he can't even return a phone call. If you can't return a phone call to a potential customer, I don't see how they can do a good job on my truck. I will take my business elsewhere.

We had issues with our truck as we were driving down freeway. Felt unsafe to drive. I called Chris and he said to bring it in. He dealt with the truck right away. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Totally wonderful people. I totally trust the mechanic. He knows his stuff and doesnt try and talk you into things you dont need. His wife gave me rides back home and picked me up when my truck was done.
