I'm not sure how their work is as a motorcycle repair shop, but their customer service / people skills leave much to be desired. they refused me service. I'm not sure if this was discrimination against me or my motorcycle. I went in for a carburetor cleaning and called the day before and spoke to sam. When I got there, the person who was there (not Sam) said that the bike is "too modified" and turned me away with a smug attirude. The guy sent me to Cycle Garden in indio, who gladly took my business.the work was simple, obvious, and clear, but my money didn't seem to ok be good enough. They wasted a few hours of my time and left a really bad taste.

Sam and is crew are awesome guys and real bacon savers. I was stuck between a rock and a hard spot with my bike and called about a half dozen shops in his town. These guys were the only ones that offered to help. It is a neat little throw-back cycle shop with a nice selection of very clean, good looking used bikes and a good selection of parts and accessories. If you are looking for a shop that can handle virtually any sort of work and guys that still have a conscience and work ethic, check out Sam's Cycle.

This shop does good work but is very expen$ive. $300 for an oil change on my 200 cc scooter was over the top. Be sure to get a written estimate or hit the road.

I give it 4 stars only cause they don't do major overhauls. Other than that Sam's great and Toby's cool too...

Sam, Toby & Billy provided excellent service, they answered all our questions and gave us piece of mind. We initially went in for an Insurance estimate after an accident and from the very beginning we knew we took it to the right guys! We decided to have them do the work as well and we couldn't be happier. They know their stuff and they are FAIR!!! Honest hard working team! We will continue to take all our bikes to them!

Good guys, good shop. They definitely have lots of knowledge & experience. Besides servicing your bike, they have some quality used bikes for sale. Call first & make an appointment, they are busy.

I d Highly Recommend this business....Like some of the reviewers, I was from out of town when I needed help with my bike. Sam wasn t around and the staff mentioned it was a 2 week back up. When Sam arrived he quickly analyzed the situation and gave me a quote. When I explained my situation of needing the work done now so I could get on the road he said he d help me out. Billy, one of his mechanics overheard the conversation and was just finishing up his job; he said he could do me next. It took a half day to fix my bike, but during that time I learned Sam and his crew treat every bike like it was their own, and every customer like they are family. That s rare and hard to find in this world. In my opinion you can't go wrong if you choose Sam and his crew to work on your bike. They're the best !!

Sam and crew are great!Over a thousand miles from home, a 105 degree day killed our battery. Sam had the needed replacement and a crew member came in on a closed day for installation. Reasonable pricing on the part and labor even with extra service! Thanks Sam and crew.

I took a tire here to have a Tubliss system installed. I picked up my tire and installed it on my motorcycle that night to be ready to ride in the morning. Woke up to a flat tire that wouldn't hold air. Mistakes happen, so I called the shop explaining what happened and that I wanted to bring the tire back in to get it right. No call back. I called again and left another message. No call back. I wanted to share my experience so that nobody else gets burnt by these guys. I gave them the opportunity to make it right but they did not.

Thank you very much to Sam for taking my Honda Monkey and replacing the tires. After a week in a rental car and multiple other shops booked, Sam was able to take my bike in and get it taken care of. I appreciate the work!

I have been following Sam's Cycles since I was a kid, and now I finally had a chance to purchase my first cruiser from them. All I can say is "Top notch!". Not only getting a motorcycle you know has been pre-certified by the excellent mechanics there, you are getting a motorcycle at an excellent price point. Add the fact all the paperwork you need to get registered and on the road same day is done in house, no waiting in line at the DMV. Walk in pick out the motorcycle you want, few signatures, and out on the open road you go. If you are looking for your first motorcycle or your 100th go to Sam's!!! You won't be disappointed. Thanks Sam, I love my new C50, and appreciate the excellent customer service!! There is a reason Sam's has been around for almost 30 years, and will be around taking care of the riders in the Coachella Valley and beyond...

Sam is what you pray for when you get a motorbike. He's really helpful, knowledgeable and doesn't rip you off pricewise. I was going to buy a nearly new triumph and Sam took the time to find out what I wanted out of my biking and discovered tinkering with the bike wasn't in my plans. He sold me instead a cheaper Honda with which I am delighted. Can't speak highly enough of Sam and his mechanics are great as well!

Sam seems like a nice guy and was willing to work with me about fixing my vespa same day due to the difficulty of getting a ride down the hill during Covid. But with a follow up call I reached "Toby" who was condescending and unhelpful, basically offering every reason why Sam's arrangement with me would not work. I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Find a better shop instead...I felt they were a bit racist and not helpful at all, I dropped off my Quad and they didnt even get any work started, they had it sitting for 6 days, even though I saw 3 mechanics walking around, I took back my quad instead. They didnt even help load it up I had to move all the motorcycles that were in the way, while sam was playing with a water robot. 120$ is the fee if they take a look at it, seems pricy for bad service.

Very happy with these Guys. Had a minor issue after they had overhauled the carb on my Yamaha TW200. When I returned they located the issue which was not carb related and fixed it promptly at no charge to me. Old fashioned competent service. Will take my other motorcycles there when they need service.

Went in for an oil change and complete inspection after purchasing used bike. I felt they were very thurough. They even gave me back the broken bolt they extracted to show me; thats good business right there. They did everything i asked them to and im going back when i need anything else.

I had a very poor experience with this shop. I paid $700 to have a fuel leak repaired and new rear tire installed. When I got home the bike was leaking gas in the exact same spot.

First class service and time testing experience has this owner operated cycle shop competing nicely with the franchised shops. My Yamaha 1100 and I thank you Sam..
