No issues and the operator tells you up front don't test your car if you have any of these things on the list that he gives you.

Very robotic serivce and I found myself and other customers were never greeted when entering. I got the impression the worker did not want to be there and was not a happy person. It's a small shop with signs everywhere which I found overwhelming to read them all. I encourage everyone to print the coupons and show before service to save money and avoid being scolded to read the fine print on the coupons. This was my first and last time going here.

Search no further! This place is fantastic. Same day, quick service. For anyone complaining about failing inspections, prices, etc, it is CLEARLY POSTED, MULTIPLE TIMES. Very transparent about the process and cost; he even gives you a moment to read over the document and comes back to answer any questions you may have before doing the service. I enjoyed chatting with the owner while I waited. The lobby has a place to sit and wait with a restroom available, TV on the wall. The best part was that the smog gets sent to the DMV electronically, so you're able to pay for your tags online without the hassle of the DMV. We've brought all our vehicles here and will do so in the future. Thank you for the excellent service and making the process effortless.

I found this smog testing station on google and was thoroughly impressed with the customer service I received. The staff were friendly and professional, and they made the entire process of booking an appointment easy. I was out in about 30 mins from my appointment time.The (Smog Stop) office was clean and well-maintained. Parking is in the front. The actual testing takes place in the rear, but you will need to check in the front office before they allow you to take the vehicle to the rear of the building.The prices were reasonable, I was excited when they mentioned a promotional discount they had.I recommend this place to anyone in need of a smog test. The staff are top-notch, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the prices are reasonable.Ps.They give you a paper with information on why vehicles might fail a smog test at check-in. Be sure to read it as it can save you money of having to do a re-test if it fails.

I have been here with multiple vehicles over a number of years. The gentleman I have dealt with has always been courteous and taken care of the smog checks and certificates quickly. He explains everything up front, which I appreciate. Prices are clearly posted, as are store policies. No surprises here. Today I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, without an appointment. Excellent service!

Doesn t seem as fast as some other people have claimed. He s turned 2 customers away because there is 3 people still waiting to get their car smog checked. Been waiting 50 mins so far.

Dont. Go. Here. Guy charged me full price and said my catalytic converter wasn t quite ready to test because of recent work on my exhaust. I had just replaced both O2 sensors. His words were that he did not feel comfortable passing me but if I drove around a little more I can come back and re-test for $40 after he had already charged me full price. Do yourself a favor and pick anywhere else. Most places are honest and only charge you if you pass, or if you have an issue like mine they will be upfront and not charge you. All this guy wants is money and he clearly doesn t care about his business reputation. I ended up going to a place in Fontana and the guy did not charge me after testing. He gave me instructions on how much and what type of driving I needed to do to get my catalytic converter ready to test and told me to come back after.Plenty of honest guys out there. This guy isn t one of them!

I visited the store location on Archibald Avenue. The customer service was amazing as usual. I always come back to get my smog checks done on all of my vehicles. Mickey always takes the time to explain any problems and goes through the paperwork with you upon the completion of the work.

Quick service. Tight squeeze to pull into . Was seen without appointment. In and out for smog check in about 15 minutes. Owner wasn t rude but talked with rude tone.

Great Location! Good People! Sam got my Smog done in less then 15 minutes. The owner, Mickey, was extremely courtesy and helpful. Highly recommended.

Man, I hate getting a smog check...but this is the best place I've found to get it done. They're pretty quick, and super nice. One year my car didn't pass because my mechanic put the wrong catalytic converter on. They showed me what I needed to do - in detail - to deal with the problem. Un-prompted, I will add. Very patient. My mechanic made it right and they did the test again. No muss, no fuss!

Mickey and Otto are super friendly and helpful!!! :) even gave us some tips on the car and a discount on our next visit , super honest and have great integrity I would definitely the recommend them I'll definitely be going back and if your on the fence about them trust me you will be happy you went to smog stop !

Called ahead and got a quote, luckily they had a special going on. Took my truck in for a smog test, was told they would be done in 30 min. I went and got something to eat, came back and it was all done. Very courteous as well. Will go back.

Terrible service. (& check my other reviews, this is the first negative one)I have the smog certificate in my hand from them as I m saying this, so no one thinks this is because of a failed smog.I ve been here many times before & will never return again. I ve dealt with Mickey before, such a nice & helpful guy.I came in 2 months ago to smog my Nissan GTR, a younger guy in his 20s took care of me, also very helpful & nice.I went in for my truck (Friday 11am) & a different guy was there. I think only 3 people work there, Mickey who I believe is the owner, A young guy(early 20s), and now this guy who will not be named. (Because if I name him, the owner can ask YELP to remove this review, I ll do everything to assure this review stays on. Even reposting it if I have to.)This guy was EXTREMELY rude, patronizing, condescending, & literally took care of all the customers that came in AFTER me , before he took care of me. He first told me it would take about 20 mins, I was there for OVER an HOUR AND HALF.Everything was fine when I got there. I sat down and waited with another gentleman who had already been there waiting for his car that was almost done, and the gentleman started a conversation with me. Somewhere in the conversation, the worker over heard us and Butted into the conversation with his own negative and aggressive opinion. I respectfully told him we weren t talking to him, and he literally blew up. Like I kid you not, this guy can t control himself. I wouldn t doubt if he will end up with a criminal record one day, if he doesn t already have one. Like he seems like the type of guy to beat his wife for the food being cold. Terrible, this kinda person should not be in front of a business in a professional environment. Like I literally understand why they lock people up now.Somewhere along the lines, Mickey was brought up. This worker literally said I don t care about Mickey, I don t care what Mickey says. It got to the point that the only way for me to get him to stop attacking me was by saying can you just please do your job? I guess that didn t set right with him, so he decided to make me wait for EVERYONE ELSE that came in to be done and smogged and leave before he took care of me, when I say everyone else, I mean the people that came in AFTER I did. It s not like I m expecting special treatment to be taken care of first, but how rude to take care of other people that came in AFTER me, first.Needless to say, I unfortunately won t be giving my business here anymore and neither should you.Even if you get that coupon in the mail, trust me you might end up spending more time than the money you d save. Plus $69 total for a smog is a lot I found out.You go to a restaurant because they have good food. You go to a store because they have nice things. When it comes to a business that all you need is a smog check, and there is no quality required to the work, where the outcome will be the same regardless of what shop you go to, I say take your business else where. Don t take the risk with this place.Just google Smog place on google maps and you ll find a better shop within walking distance that s even less expensive. (I can t say the name of the shop or else yelp could remove this review lol)It s sad that Mickey, such a nice person, has to lose my business, as well as the gentleman that I was having the conversation with, all because his employee doesn t know how to act in society and control himself and mind his own business.

I recently got a Nissan Titan, and I was curios about my smog emissions. I went in and I was told that my truck didn't need a smog check, because it's a newer truck. I wanted to get it done either way for my own security. The people there were nice enough to do it for me, AND gave me a special discount.

Mr. Mickey was very friendly. The Smog test took only about 15 minutes. Not much of a waiting time. Truly accommodating and helpful!

Started at the smog / repair stop a little bit up. since my vehicle is pre 1996 I needed evap test. smog stop had that and as I walked in I thought the prices were high, we worked it out and he did my test very nice very respectful not rude not overbearing. Answered all my questions( and told my why he thought I failed "but he's not a mechanic") came back and passed. It was my cat tho. I will return here.

Found Smog Stop on Google and saw the good reviews. I stopped in and they were very helpful and explained the process. I'd recommend these guys to anyone who needs a smog check. I'll definitely be bringing my other vehicles in here. Thank you Mickey!
