I came to this shop to pick up a hood from Pedro and found out it is a machine shop.Im from Oakland CA but I will bring all my car to Pedro.Thanks for the hood.

Pedro just finished the new motor and serviced the transmission in my Expedition. He even drove it home and back (50 miles) to ensure everything worked properly prior to delivery. It drives like a new $75,000 Expy for a $5,000 investment...half of the dealership quote of $10,000. Started as a possible timing chain issue that ended up being a seized motor (sucked 2 valves into a cylinder and drove the top of the rod THROUGH the piston); Pedro presented me with different budgetary options, including sleeving the cylinder and rebuilding the damaged block.Now I have my truck back with a better than new car warranty. I highly recommend Pedro and Elba and their staff!

I worked in an engine shop and machine shop in the past so I look for a shop that gives quality work for a fair price. Since I am new to the area I called a few places and got the usual selection of 30 to do this 50 to do that with no personality whatsoever. I wanted a shop that had personality and listened to me for a few moments before spewing prices. Elba was kind and patient and her guys help pull the head out of the car trunk. Even though I knew the process I let them tell me and they were spot on accurate. Got a call today the head was to warped and they would do whatever I need to source one. Honest,fairly priced, with great communication meant awesome customer care. I am very impressed!

Best machine shop around. Ive had several heads rebuilt with them plus ive sent several clients his way. Everyone sattisfied with their work and price. Fastest turn over time around and definetley best prices. Other shops wanted to charge me literally double what they charge me. Highly reccomend.

Pedro, Elba, and the rest of the staff is amazing. Had an engine installed on a CT200h recently and the car is running great. Not only was the price well worth it, the turn around when I dropped off my car to when it was ready for pick up was lighting fast! These guys kept me inform on what s going every step of the way. I will not hesitate to bring any of my cars here. Loyal customer for life.

The absolute best place for Mopar! I've recently purchased a srt8 and experienced catastrophic damage. I called around and found not many shops work on Mopar specific motors. I was at a loss. I came across SPEED AUTO MACHINE and decided to call. I immediately was greeted by Elba over the phone. When I explained what was going on she responded immediately with answers to my questions. I felt at complete peace with all of her answers. I got my srt8 towed to the shop and met Pedro he was fantastic, he explained what would need to be done to get it running and more. During the full rebuild of the motor Elba called and ask about other part that needed repair. The whole process was communicated to me. I'm very happy to now have this shop my go to for everything. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and the time Elba and Pedro took during the whole rebuild process. I couldn't find any other way to thank them both.

I took my daughters Honda Element in to get the motor swapped out. Pedro helped us locate an engine and did the swap. He was very thorough and honest. Everything works great with the car and would diffidently recommend his shop.

EXCELLENT service, quality work. Pedro and his folks are very friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed my Toyota Prius in less than 1 hour, and charged me less than he quoted me!!! An honest shop for auto repair. They look very busy with BMW, Acura, Honda and even a Ferrari on their shop floor.I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

I took my 2005 dodge Magnum to speed auto machine motor was blown they rebuilt my hemi 5.7 now jt run way harder than before good price done in a timely fashion I recommend they know alot about dodge's I went to the dealership first $300 later no help took it to speed auto machine job well done thank you!
