Very knowledgeable advice and willing to work with you on scheduling on what Time to get your boat done on Time ready for summer. However that being said I also experience them leaving my ignition key on the whole time while they were working on my boat, so when got my boat back has a dead battery and it went bad so I had to replace it because it went completely dead. And when they replaced my starter they never tighten right so it stripped my flywheel while I was using it. I won't be taking my boat there ever again because of the workers they have there don't pay attention to any details.

I have been going there for some time now & have always had Great service. Andy is Very friendly & knowledgeble. If they don't have the parts you need, he gets them quickly! I would have no one else take care of my Fishrite Jet as I am a Freak about my boat. Done on or before the promise date. I will return to this company for future boat repairs, maintenance & trailer service.. Service & repaired my kicker motor Too.. Now it's time to go test it out!! I took my boat to Marine Service Center mainly because it's an older OMC and they work on those boats. I had the 100 hour service done to baseline the boat. I'm the second owner and the prior owner had minimal records. Sharon was great in answering my questions and setting up an appointment. Check-in was smooth and I also had them take care of some other small bits (trailer light, prop and an electrical connection).Andy the service manager was super helpful and described everything to me and was patient with all my questions.I would not hesitate to recommend them and even though I'm an hour and a half away, I will have any future service done there.Thank you Marine Service Center!Services: Tune-ups, General repairs & maintenance, Water pump service, Boat trailer service, Oil change

Took my boat out after getting it back from them. It worked great. It was hard to find a shop that would work on my older 1994 Celebrity 180, but they were awesome! For the job they did the price was very competitive and way faster then I expected. Thank you!

I was looking in town for a shop to put Electric brakes on my boat trailer. I called and talked to Andy I think he was the manager very nice guy. He Told me to bring it on down And he would get on it. The price was very good it was what I had expected to pay. Took a day todo. Picked up the Next day and was very happy with the job. Every thing worked right and even repaired a couple of little and didn't even charge me. Very happy. Good job guys

I am from Nevada and came down to Sacramento to buy a kicker motor from Andy. From our first contact he was very knowledgeable and was able to order all of the parts for my boat just by talking to me over the phone. He had great pricing and took the time to explain everything to me in detail knowing that I was going to do the work myself. Thank you for all the help you now have a few lifetime customers!

My boat suffered extensive mechanical and exterior damage, which required the removal of my engine and fiberglass repair. Andy and his staff handled my complex insurance claim with the expertise and integrity seldom found in the industry. Simply, his rates were fair and because of his highly experienced and skilled mechanics, I prevailed against a large insurance company and all of their experts. Moreover, my boat was repaired when promised, at the quoted price. I highly recommend this professional boat repair facility.

Awesome place to take your boat! Good mechanics , and the owner is very professional. Would never take my boat anywhere else. Thank you marine service center for making my 89 sea ray like new. And for a good price!

The level of service and communication is unparalleled, 5 stars does not give enough gratitude to level of craftmanship this entire staff did for me. I have a 1988 Wellcraft 180 classic that was fully restored to showroom status. The communication throughout the entire restoration was amazing. I had no stress what so ever, everything was done above my expectation. I'm immensely grateful for the assistance this staff did for me and my family. Andy you and your staff are truly amazing and I wish you all but the best! Thank you for restoring my dad's boat and making my family safe!

Took my boat in for some repairs, it used to be my Dads boat.. the boat sat around for a couple of years and took it in for over all service, the quality of work outstanding, the crew very professional, they kept in touch on every step. I had a 17 blue water boat. It was a four cylinder inboard engine. I took it there because when I gave it gas. The engine cut out and died on me. They told me it was the carburetor. So they rebuilt it. Took it out on the river. Same problem occurred. So I took it back. I was told it was the choke. I assumed I had a 90 day warranty. I was charged again. Two Carburetor and $1000.00 later. I was told it was my engine. So I Sold my boat. I later learned. I took my boat to one of the highest priced shop in Sacramento. Got to have deep pockets to go there. I wouldn't trust there work. True story!

Created more issues than before. Took it to Marine Service for simple oil & water pump service. They charged a lot more than others but decided to try them out. Took it out after the service and engine was stuttering, acceleration was weak, and now there was a out drive oil leak. Not covered & not paying them another 1000 for bad service & tuneup. Found out a seal & gasket was punctured, the one's they replaced or said were good. The other things they said were bad & couldn t be fixed were easily fixed by another. I feel swindled, never going back, I suggest getting 2nd opinions about issues they bring up. Save your money and boat.

Marine Service Center repowered my 92 Bayliner Ciera and did an awesome job. I was really nervous about this project, but they (Andy in particular) walked me through the process, kept me informed, presented reasonable options and sound advice.
