My husband and I were very pleased with Lee's Auto Repair Service after we had to have our car towed to their shop when our battery died for the second time in two months. We were worried it was the alternator, but it was actually just a bad battery (wouldn't hold a charge). They let us switch it out under warranty and only charged us for the diagnostic (low fee). We're very happy for the quick servicing!

I enjoyed taking my car there. Maybe not the price, but it was about avatars as I compared other repair shops. The staff was nice, patient, and they were good listeners. Especially Bill. Thank you Lee's auto repair!

I was very happy with the service that Dave and the crew did. I was leary about the high labor rate. You do indeed get what you pay for though. I did have an issue of a coolant hose leak the next day. But they got me in and out quick. My Van runs AWESOME. Thanks everyone.

Still good work at reasonable prices and if they don't get it right the first and if it's because something they missed, they will take care of you and make it right.

My repair was quite expensive for my budget, however they helped me out with a small discount, quick service and I was back on the road in 2 days. My AC works great now. Kudos.

Made an appointment to drop off a car for my work. After a week of no contact from them or able to talk to anyone (due to noone answering thephone). We went up to check on the car and they had not even put the car in the system to start the service. We will no longer be using them for our fleet service.

"Honesty still exists!'... I was told by O'Reilly's that my alternator, (not my battery, which I had bought from them one year earlier) was bad after they did a diagnostic test on my Toyota. I was prepared to replace the alternator when I went to Lee's automotive repair in Rancho Cordova. To my surprise they told me the battery was actually bad and only running at 35%. (which O'Reilly's had told me was perfectly fine) And then they even told me that the battery was probably still warrantied to check with O'Reilly's, where I had bought the battery from in the first place, to see if it was still warranty. It was! Lee's automotive could have very easily sold me AT LEAST a new battery but they said they were not in the business to rip people off. From a female's point of view, that meant the world to me! THANK YOU LEE'S Service: Auto engine diagnostic

First let me say that the shop does good work. This review is based on how much they bill and how they do it.I agreed to a radiator replacement at $500 is (re- manufactured) but to be quoted another $350 for changing the thermostat is ridiculous, it's two bolts. As a result I will be doing the thermostat myself in less than ten minutes just like I have done before.I also did not do the front brakes as they quoted over $1000 for $200 in parts plus labor. They quoted 1.8 hours for labor and parts at $700. Once the front wheel is off there are only two bolts holding the caliper and rotor on. I have done the job at home in less than an hour with no power tools.Yeah they do great work but at their labor rates and parts are heavily inflated. Might as well go to the dealer and get the work done.

Been taking my car to lee's auto for more then 5 yrs because I can trust them to do what they say they will do. Lee n his crew are professional n always looking out for their clients best interest! I purchase a brand new car two years go n not once did I ever enter into that dealership for any of my car repairs. I new that my new car was going to be taken care of at Lee's auto shop. Great price, great skills n most importantly, great people!

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!I came here for a $70-80 alignment and they almost charged me $700 due for needing my tire rods replaced. Good thing I called my personal mechanic, who told them off for not performing an actual test and just telling me that I needed my tire rods replaced rather than explain it to me. Apparently they told I knew what and why I needed my tire rods replaced. They literally just came up to me and said my tired rods need to be replaced too. I know some people have great experience but I had a really bad one and recommend people to never come back!

Long story short. I took my car here to get diagnosed. I was quoted $2500. Said to start with the 1st thing on the list and if that doesnt fix it to go to the next thing on the list. I had my work mechanic look at it. 20 minutes later my car was fixed. I just had something loose. He tightened it and its working like its supposed to. I didnt even talk to the mechanic about the issues, the front desk girl is the one who explains everything than the guy at the other desk interrupts and treats you as if youre supposed to know the answers to the questions you have. I wouldnt take your car here for anything other than maybe an oil change, if that.

They took my car in about 30 minutes before closing time on a Friday when I had an unexpected flat tire and patched it up for me. My drive home is about 40 miles so if they hadn't helped me, I may have been stranded. I really appreciate their help and service!

They don't even deserve the one star. I took my 2001 Lexus in when the check engine trac light went on. I spent close to $1000.00 to fix it. I had to take it back three times after that because every couple of months the lights would go back on. The last time I took my car back to them, they 'guessed' that it was the gas cap even though that was replaced less than a year ago. Sure enough a week later, the lights came back on and I finally took it to the dealership where they replaced the oil valves and now my car is finally runnning fine.It is obvious that they have no idea what they are doing. In addition, when I first had it repaired, they gave me a list of other things on my car that needed to be fixed. When I had another mechanic look at my car, he said that my car is fine and didn't need all the repairs. That is simply dishonest. They also charged me $60.00 to weld a rocker arm and of course that repair lasted about 3 months. I would never, ever recommend this repair shop.

Ok these guys suck. At first I was pretty happy with them when they put new shocks on my 2006 F-250 diesel, I supplied the shocks. Then I took it in to have an oil leak fixed and change the transmission fluid, engine oil, differential gear oil and locate an engine leak. They said the leak was coming from the differential. Had it fixed and still the same oil leak. Then they said it was coming from the oil fill tower, still the same oil leak. Then they said it was the oil pressure sensor, still the same oil leak. Then they said I needed to change my Turbo tubes, still the same oil leak. Took it on the freeway the turbo tubes blew apart. Bill's answer was "oh yeah they they put those on with an air wrench and sometimes they forget to go back and check them." I asked him isn't there some kind of dye you can put in there. " sure we can do that." Why didn't you do that in the first place. Well $1,400 later and I'm in Los Angeles and this thing has blown apart 6 times with an inferior product that they totally screwed me on and I still have the same oil leak. They have totally screwed my truck up and took out some good parts. Between this time of getting my truck fixed my daughter took her Ford Focus in to have a thermostat replaced. They were going to charge her $500 for that. $250 for the thermostat which at AutoZone cost $28 bucks. She took it to Comp Tech Rancho Cordova with the thermostat where Dave really nice and personable guy charged her $185 bucks. It would have cost her less to fix it if Lee's Automotive hadn't charged her $58 for the analysis after I told him what it was. Needless to say these Crooks will never see either one of our cars again. I hope you're reading this Bill.

On the 16th of May, I stopped at the Arco gas station on Sunrise and White rock drive. After filling my tank, I tried to leave but my engine wouldn't start. Luckily for me, l was only a few hundred feet from Lee's Automotive. I walked over and explained my problem. They sent one of their men over to see if a jump might be all I needed. No such luck. My starter was shot. I wasn't sure what I would do next. And all of a sudden here where 4 more Lee employees who pushed my van into a bay at their shop. I didn't have to ask for help, they just did it on their own. They replaced my starter and kept me informed throughout the day. I was able to drive home that day. Great people and a very fair automotive business. This is my second dealing with Lee's, and I am still happy with their service. I strongly recommend them to anyone needing service done to their auto's. DAVID BARKER

Have to speak with an assistant instead of mechanic. Made a comment to check something first and someone (with a mustache) I wasn't even speaking to interrupted and argued we don't just check one thing first etc. They didn't fix my problem and said something else was wrong. There is a high feeling of arrogance here. Won't go back. Go to BETA SMOG for better service.

Took all day to fix a flat tire. At the end of the day they said you need to replace the tire and said come tomorrow we are closing now. Poor customer service!

I put them in a hard. PCM data can tell a lot of things. They didn't seem to do that. But they did their heart out to find the problem. If the problem is obvious, they are goid.
