My first car buying experience with Mike was an absolute nightmare. (Judging by other glowing reviews for another associate, maybe just avoid Mike?)After selling me a vehicle with issues Mike claimed he "didn't have to disclose", they charged me a restocking fee of $500, and I had already filled up the tank with gas this morning ($65) because they sold it to me 1 gallon away from empty. I was treated very poorly and when I returned not even 24 hours after signing to follow up on the warranty he failed to offer me the first day. I was told it wouldn't cover the vehicle until it had been driven 500 miles. I asked if this could be changed due to the issues the car was showing that were a danger to my safety driving it, and was literally shrugged off with refusal. I also cleaned the inside of the vehicle thoroughly this morning because they refused to clean it yesterday.It's really unfortunate that I came here as a first time car buyer. I wanted my first car buying experience to be positive so I could share a happy story and a trustworthy dealership with my friends and family. But different people have different priorities, and Mike showed me that any profit he could grasp was more important than providing honest service. He became very dismissive and defensive when I asked about what could be done to make the vehicle safe for me to drive. Which was quite a strange experience to endure, because I used to work in sales myself and would have never treated someone this way.I really hope that Mike will treat the next person with the kindness, respect and autonomy everyone deserves, instead of how inappropriately he treated me. I would only shop here if I had a good mechanic I know and trust to inspect the vehicle. I know if I had, they would have warned me about the issues before I signed for it. But after this experience with Mike, I will definitely never return and warn my friends and family to stay away.Be careful everyone, I wish you a better experience, a better sales associate, and a better vehicle than I had.

I left the dealership with my car and a big smile on my face, all thanks to this exceptional saleswomen/finance manager her dedication and expertise is outstanding. If I owned my own business I would steal her away and have her run my company. The whole purchase was stress free, absolutely no pressure like most car lot's do. DO NOT PURCHASE CAR FROM HERE. (I work from home and don t drive often) I was sold a 2009 Toyota Camry XLE, was advised a 90 day warranty. Within 1 month my radiator was not working and car overheating, talked to Mike and he had me tow my car to L&A auto care. Had my car repaired was advised a hose was replaced. Within 3-4 weeks my car overheated again, went through the same steps and mechanic said it was the radiator cap. Within 2 weeks my car overheated AGAIN and now Mike is saying it s out of warranty although it s the same issue. Mike hung up on me and would not assist me. Unprofessional and sleazy af.

This was my first online purchase without test driving the vehicle, and I couldn't have been happier. After some time of online shopping I found a vehicle that was I very interested in. I spoke with Isaac who was friendly, kind, and professional. Isaac was extremely helpful and went above and beyond with all the questions I had for him. I told him that that this would be my first purchase without having to have seen the vehicle first. Isaac made it such a smooth and easy experience by kindly explaining the entire process. He also sent me additional photos of the vehicle. Within a few days my vehicle had arrived and it was exactly as described to me. Thank you Isaac, and Golden State!

I had the pleasure of purchasing my first car at Golden State Auto. Lorena worked with me from the beginning of the process helping me get approved for a loan that fits my budget, and was responsive (and extremely kind) through it all. The entire team is knowledgeable and truly care about getting their customers approved and driving off the lot in the car of their dreams! They are even fixing some minor cosmetic issues for me. Overall, I m very happy with my experience.I would recommend this lot to anyone in the greater Sacramento area. Thank you Lorena and team for all of your help!

My experience went so smooth at Golden State Auto! I inquired about my 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 on Monday, 3/6 and drove away in my car Wednesday morning Abi helped me in so many ways and worked super hard to get me approved at a really great bank with a very reasonable APR. Very professional place of business, friendly staff and exceptional service. I'd refer anyone there, it would defintely be worth it! Thank you again Abi, I appreciate your service My car was also very clean inside and out and included the carfax. I know I can be picky about little things like that so that was a major plus Me and my lil guy are rolling very nice now!

I have bought many cars from a small dealership before and none of them has ever satisfied me because they made me feel like they wanted to just sell me a car and have nothing else to do with it once I'm off their lot but let me just say, golden state auto is nothing like that!! I bought a beautiful 2012 Honda Pilot Touring & it was perfect but i noticed minor things that needed fixing and as soon as I told Abi & Leroy, they immediately scheduled me an appointment to have it fixed and I didn't have to spend a dime! They truly care for their customers and really want to sell long lasting cars! I highly recommend Abi & Leroy and I trust that all of their cars on their lot is spectacular! Thank you golden state auto! This purchase was the smoothest I've ever experienced and I will definitely send everyone I know who's buying a car their way!

Great place nice customer service for a small dealership they have some really decent cars there. Bens a great guy he s the one you wanna talk to sold me a 2017 ford mustang and has been fixing some little things on it for me too. Took a couple days to get the car back but as long as the job is good I don t have a problem. Would recommend these guys.

Don t do business here. There are plenty of other dealerships that will respect you and your time and not lie to you.We purchased a used car here three months ago. It was missing a couple of parts and had one broken part. Before purchasing, we were promised that the parts would be sent to us and that the broken part would be fixed by their mechanic. The bank they chose for the loan also required an $85 membership at a museum which we were told would be reimbursed.It took us three months and countless times of us calling/texting about the parts and reimbursement check to finally receive the parts (one of which had chipped paint and they ignored me when I contacted them about it), and one that they promised their mechanic would install (and didn t. It was sent to us). Every time we would call they would say tomorrow next week I'm shipping Monday making excuses after excuses. They even went as far as telling me they d ship Monday then when contacted the next week they said they didn t have the parts yet. Like okay why lie to us then and say you d ship in three days? If they would have been straight with us from the beginning it wouldn t have been a problem. No need to lie and ignore our calls. It also took the registration a whole three months to get to us (the temp plates were destroyed by then)Like another review said, after they make their sale, you re own your own.

Last week I bought a car here and I was helped by Lorena. She is the most helpful, kind and wonderful sales person. She worked super hard to get me in the car I wanted and you can tell overall everyone that works here genuinely cares and not just to sell a car and get you out of the door. Lorena communicates and does all she can to reassure you and never pressures you. You walk away knowing you got a fair deal and a good buy. Please go down and see Lorena. She speaks spanish and works with all types of credit situations!

I bought a Lexus Hybrid from Golden State Auto Inc. They let us take the car to a shop for an inspection before we purchased it. It had a crack in the navigation screen and a few other little things that needed to be fixed, they followed through with those fixes as promised. Abi kept me informed about the progress when they had the the car for repair, the customer service Abi provided is top tier he is very responsive.The car was dirty and needing to be detailed inside, there were some spills inside on the doors and multiple stains on the carpets, a couple of small interior pieces missing but besides that everything seems to be good so far.Overall I am happy with the purchase of this car. I would recommend Golden State Auto Inc, the process was easy. The staff is courteous, respectful, and responsive. Thank you, Abi and Leroy, for all of the help in this process.

I was told previously from a diffrent dealer due to my repo I was not able to get the vehicle I wanted and I would have to get a Honda or Toyota which nothing wrong with that but I love audi. I love the luxury of the vehicles. I called the dealership if they still had 2014 Audi A6 available, they stated they did. They assured me I was going to walk out with the vehicle and I did ! I absolutely love my vehicle, best part it's metallic blue which is gorgeous. My vehicle is a 4 cylinder, gas saver. I took it to San Francisco, put 60 for gas cane back still with 120 miles which us amazing. I'm very happy with my purchase and my payments are low. I would definitely purchase from them again.

Everyone should go see Lorena! She is the best! You should go see her because she will try her hardest to get you approve. I had the worst luck when I moved down here. One of my car got hit by a drunk driver and the other one got damaged, and was so stressed out of how I would get to work. She made every way simple for me, so that I can leave happy. I appreciate her so much!

I want to edit this just to clarify information in previous post - The owner I mentioned before, I just found out was actually not the owner he was just a employee so that makes a little more sense now. It wasn't the owner who was avoiding me it was a employee. I just spoke to the owner & as soon as he saw my message he reached out to help & figure everything out & I appreciate that.. That's all it took in the first place which is why I didn't understand why it was so difficult.. It's a tiny thing but avoiding it just makes it compound more & more for no reason especially when I was being as cool as possible about it.. Like I said though I no these reviews effect there business so I just wanted to clarify the owner is not the one I thought he is a different guy but the owner is awesome he reached out to see how he could fix it & apologized instantly so I can say I appreciate that & how he handles business.. It still doesn't take back my previous comment because the employee still did do that but at least the owner will hold them to a standard & will help fix a problem if it does occur.. So I wanted to clean this up so people understand and get my previous post clearly.. I'll come back and edit further once the key actually gets fixed but from everything I heard the owner is handling it right now & gave me his direct contact to reach out for any more issues so he is a stand up guy!The girl that works there was cool & helpful but the owner has that "used car" vibe so just be aware.. They sold me a car that had a few minor issues nothing serious though I actually like the car but the key fob they gave me didn't work at all it was completely worn out & the lock/unlock buttons had no function & before I had paid him the remaining amount, he was reaching out to me constantly instantly responding calling & texting saying which days we would get it done then as soon as I made that final payment I can't get a answer or response or text back to save my life haha He was supposed to send a mobile key guy out to program a new one but like I said soon as they got everything they needed from me they just stopped responding.. So just be careful! Make sure you ALWAYS have leverage & before you give it up make sure everything on your end is done before you give it up because good faith isn't a standard with them obviously! I'm at the point we're im just gunna show up then weel see how many excuses and reasons things haven't happened or he hasn't answered or responded.. Always how it is! Just disappointing & perpetuating the "used car salesman" narrative to the fullest..

I've had an amazing experience with this dealership! The staff was very friendly, especially Ben who was extremely helpful and patient to answer all of my questions and concerns. The buying process went very smoothly and with no sense of pressure, which I appreciated. They even fixed a crack in my windshield after purchase for no extra charge after I failed to notice it was there on my initial test drive. I highly recommend Golden State Auto, Inc.

I highly recommend Golden State Auto! I drove all the way from San Francisco to get one of the best deals I ve ever found for a daily driver that has curb appeal. I suggest getting the extended warranty as well just for the fact that Golden State is honest and quick to repair without neglect. Buy with confidence, don t even look at the other lots They get a resounding 5 stars from me, and I m very critical when it comes to ratings. Abi and Leroy will make sure to take care of you, V.I.P status.

Great Customer Service! Abi was very helpful through the whole process with car, paperwork and loan. They did an oil change, and checked battery. After I purchased the vehicle I found an air suspension issue which they replaced, they found an issue with the brakes which they replaced. I definitely recommend this place for a used car.
