Had to come here last year when we hit the road in our rv. no one could get us in , but we called don and he got us in same day it took a couple days to fix but only cause it took a while for part to show up! And was really reasonable on his price and the service was great well we are back again for our brakes! Only person up north to give us a reasonable price to do the job so reasonable that I drove 2 hours with no back brakes to go see Don again! Hoping to be back on the road today!!

Took over 3 weeks to repair a roof when we were told 2 weeks Man we dealt with knew we live full time in it, also knew we were 6 hours away from him and had to plan to pick up.. had all plans made to pick up Friday was notified Thursday evening wouldn t be ready until early Saturday morning then it was right before they closed when we were finally able to leave. HORRIBLE MESSY CARELESS WORK Caulk everywhere EVEN INSIDE ON MY CARPET. Soft spot that was supposedly replace is still soft such a terrible job. Will be disputing with my credit card company.

Amazing service. I believed the company I bought my RV from in Davis, CA, two years ago that the steering was off and they claimed that was very normal for that to happen. It was fixed by Gold County today. It is now amazing to drive, I no longer have to struggle with it down the highway. Stay away from this outfit for RV repair. My brother took his RV there for a refrigerator repair and they put in a new board. When my brother went to use it, the refrigerator still didn't work. A few weeks ago, they put in another new board and it still doesn't work. They wouldn't do a repair under warranty and refused to return any money. Now we're out about $500 on parts and labor.

I have trusted Don's business for 15 years to fix all of my cars, rvs, and trailers. Some repairs have been major and some minor. I was never disappointed and the fees have always been reasonable. I called the shop early on Saturday afternoon, spoke with the owner, Don, and explained the problem I was having with my trailer. Don informed me that he closed in two hours but that I was welcome to bring my trailer in and he would have one of his technicians take a look and assess the problem. Bottom line, the technician identified the problem, fixed it and had me out in an hour. I'm very satisfied with the service I received. Also, Don and his staff are very friendly and easy to communicate with.Service: Electrical repair

As always, Don and his crew provide excellent service and repairs with minimal wait. He provides warranty on his work. Miuch better option than the dealership...less than half the price.

I had a great experience getting my car serviced there with oil change, brakes checked, etc. Good value for the price. The owner Don explained the condition of my car, and was patient with my questions. They also finished with all the maintenance in about an hour. I feel confident that they did a great job for the price and are people of integrity.

I love this shop; Don the owner is awesome. He changes my oil cheaper than any coupon offer and did my brakes for $300 less than what I was quoted elsewhere!! My visor broke and dealership was going to charge me over $400.00 in labor and parts however I checked with Don and he did it for $50.00. Gold Country Automotive on Zinfandel in Rancho Cordova, Ca has my business for life!!

My husband and I discovered Gold Country about 10 years ago when we got one of their ads in the old Penny Saver newspaper. We first went to Don for a smog check and oil change. Over the years we have had all kinds of work done on our vehicles and have always been happy with the service and work done. It is not easy to find a good and honest mechanic but we sure did, We will be going to Gold Country for all our vehicles from now on.

Cheapest service around but the owners charged my debit card twice. When questioned with proof and transaction history he did not accept any accountability for his mistake.The dispute with my credit union will take up to ninety days to remedy. I still have not gotten my refund. Would not recommend.Message to owner: It is 2016, learn to use a credit card machine.

Don had me in and out in a couple of hours. They diagnosed the problem in a short amount of time. Price was reasonable. Especially on a Friday. If not my motorhome would be out of service for a week

Let the client beware- 90% of the time they sell you parts your car dosent need. The other 10% would sell it to you for new clients only cheap too Just so you come back when your started broke again (2 weeks later).Also: sence the dealers in there bring their cars there too its probably best to stay away from buying a car there becuase those dealers dont care about you and ask for only micky-mouse fixes under warranty. The oil they put in your car is probably not good for it. And the napa sign they have outside the shop? Just so you think you are getting a good part but ask for where they get their parts from. Pick and pull or this other fvp brand wich no one trust. Owner says hes been there 12 years and knows about everything. -Not true- he will probably start another conversation just so you dont think about the question you asked him.But anyways i worked there and was fired beacause i spent too much time caring about the safety of the vehicle occupants wich is you and i was not let a chance to provide the service you require so you drive back home safe. So check your car next time you get home. Cheap fast labor sometimes comes at a big price afterwards.. Have a great day..

FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR FAMILY AND OTHERS !!DO NOT USE THIS GOLD COUNTRY. they made me spend so much money and endangered my family and others. they did repairs to my pacifica and it took me having to take my vehicle to another mechanic and bring paperwork for gold country to honor the warranty for their work. they ruined the oil pan drain area and wanted me to pay $400 plus for a new oneafter me complaining to the owner and assuring him that the car had no problems before his mechanic touching it, they installed a adaptor and repaired it for $30++ they replaced a water pump and the timing belt and the water pump continued to leak. they did test and said radiator needed to be replaced. 400++ i took car to a different mechanic to check radiator and found water pump leaking DID NOT NEED RADIATOR!!! i brought paper work to Don,, Gold Country Owner. and then they repair leak. Gold Country replaced motor mounts, my wife got stranded when taking my daughter to her dance performance. subframe bolt was scraping on the ground., and front motor mount was not installed all the way, was loose. she had the car towed and my daughter never made it to her dancing performance... i took the car to another mechanic and he confirmed the bolts being loose and dangerousi took pictures and video of all this. i ordered bolt from dealer and had mechanic replaced. I took all receipts to GOLD COUNTRY. AND the owner did not wanted to cover my expenses for their poor quality work the had put my family in danger. Only when i told him that i was going to follow legal action agains them He then agreed to pay back my expenses. I wish for them to have pride in their work and to consider the safety of their customers. IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR SAFETY AND THAT OF OTHER TO SAVE A COUPLE OF DOLLARS.!!!!!

Don is a very nice person to deal with and his crew was very polite as well. Some of the bodywork was not up to par , but he did stand by his work and make it acceptable.
