Folsom Japanese is very professional and accurate diagnostics. I don't mind paying a little extra vs other shops because they do quality work and use OEM parts. Was referred here and we are truly grateful to have our cars major services done by Loc and his team. We had to leave the car overnight which was fine and when we got it back all the major problems were fixed and my car was working like new! Loc is definitely reasonable and has fair prices. We will definitely use him again for any future car needs!

I have found a new mechanic for my Lexus SUV! Aside from being in a convenient location in Folsom/Rancho Cordova, as there is no Lexus dealership in that area, the service was almost better than the dealership. I work close by and Loc dropped me off at work. Loc is very clear and professional about the services he will be performing and explained everything that was done when I came to pick up my car. His prices are so reasonable. His shop is soooo clean. My car was done earlier than expected too. Very happy with the service I received....and the bill! Will definitely be back. Such a nice guy too!

Loc runs a great shop; he's super talented and knowledgeable, and . . . . his prices are always fair. I've taken my 2001 Solara and my 1996 T-100 to him a couple of times over the last 2-3 years, and he diagnoses the problem right the first time and fixes it super fast. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Loc (the owner) is the best! Clean shop. Very honest. I mean completely honest. Excellent prices on OEM parts. He is the go-to guy for timing belt service that's for sure. He's several $hundred lower than the dealer cost. He even helped me find a used OEM part that works perfectly and saved me about $500.

I previously worked down in this area and passed by this company many times. My wife has a 04 Lexus RX330 and it had been leaking oil for some time. Based on great reviews, I decided to try Folsom Japanese auto repair. Loc was as advertised. He provided a clear and thorough assessment of the problem and suggested a multi-step plan of attack. Fortunately for us, step 1 fixed the oil leak and appears to have resolved our major problem.Loc was very professional and thorough in his assessment and recommendation. I felt I got a very fair deal and it appears the oil leak has been fixed. I do not feel in any way that any unnecessary work was ever discussed. Thank you Loc!

Good work but I used wrong credit card and it was closing in 15 mins. I lived less than one mile away and he would not give a lift to get my other card. I had to start screaming to get a lift. He said take an uber and it was Friday. He would have been closed and have to wait till Monday for my vehicle. After more screaming, his mechanic gave me a ride. While his mechanic does reputable work, the owner, Loc, has zero compassion. I know it's business, just don't expect friendly service.

This immaculate shop is run by Loc Vu, one of the BEST Lexus and Toyota certified mechanics, bar none! Prices are FAR below dealer shop prices. They do full service, even smog inspections. A Lexus Service Manager told us about Loc when our original warranties expired. THAT tip was a true blessing. Try their service -- you won't be disappointed!They also service Honda and Acura. j&w

I when to Folsom Japanese auto repair on the recommendation of a trusted friend I was not disappointed As Loc the owner diagnosed communicate and repair my car in very short order . I have never been so impressed with the repair shop also the shop and the office were amazingly clean which to me shows organization and respect .this is Business I would recommend to my family and friends with no Hesitation .THANK YOU LOC!!
