5 star all the way. I was driving when I realized I had some tire issues. Pulled into here on accident and everyone was so friendly. Danny himself came out and helped me on the spot. I really appreciated his help!!!!

Paid for a transmission diagnostic only to be told it s an internal transmission issue. No other details. They flushed the transmission fluid and said it was good to go. I left with the same issue I came with. Car is still jerking and making a noise while driving. Wish I went to another shop to begin with. They prioritize oil changes and shouldn t advertise they can do transmission diagnostic work.

Been taking my vehicles here for years but this is never my first choice kinda my last and here s why. Almost every vehicle I ve taken here has had more issues after I ve taken it to get them serviced or fixed. Most recent example of negligence; took my truck in to get the u joint replaced. They call me 5 hours later to say they noticed brake fluid coming from my rear drum. They recommended a brake inspection. So I said yes. Danny calls me and his first words are your trucks ready but we broke a wheel stud don t worry you still have 5 more they claimed a native Sacramento California truck has all this rust and tried to lie about something so simple. They over torqued it any other mechanic would back that up somebody could have been having a bad day but to take it out on my truck and also not replace it and lie to my face is just wrong. Not only that my brand new driveline now has dents in it it looks as if someone got mad and took a hammer to it. What is your problem seriously you re all choosing to be a mechanic that s your choice not my trucks fault you re frustrated. How many others do they do this to? Way to treat a customer that s been coming for over 6 years periodically. Not only will I not come back to here but my entire construction company used to use Danny s and now they also won t because of just pure negligence of a whole fleet of our 2022 ford trucks!! Instead of quality work they want quantity the more vehicles they get done the better but there s repercussions to rushing it. I hope this reaches a bigger audience and you all stay away from Danny s they do not practice good business they are not honest workers.

I came to this place because I moved and it s close to where I live. I do not recommend this place, they will scam money out of you claiming it s for diagnosis. For each issue they quote they will charge you $95, I ended up paying $95 three times in one day. I will stick to my usual place at Econo lube where they don t charge diagnosis fee when you get the issue fixed with them

For some things they are really great! They did a *great* transmission replacement on my Lexus. Fair prices, and good quality work. Four years later everything is running great still. They have helped with other minor issues, too, and def will keep using them!For a few things, we just wish they could explain better. For example our car window power opener died and the whole panel had to be replaced. We were told that they had to order it from the dealer, and that it took over a month. Then when it came something was wrong but we couldn't understand what. Wrong part was ordered or sent? It just wasn't clear. And they didn't seem to have the answer on what we were supposed to do. So we waited over a month for an unclear response and no fix. We ended up using a guy in Folsom who found us a used part and it was installed the same day at about 1/6th the price.So definitely a big thumbs up for Daniel and his team overall. It's very nice to have a mechanic locally you can trust.

Been going here since I was in college. Expect to wait a little bit as they are so popular now, but it s worth the wait. They won t do you wrong.

These guys are honest and trustworthy they were up front with me about everything. They we fantastic, they are very helpful and friendly there. When you walk in the office its such a good feeling there. The entire staff is just awesome. My baby was almost dying, and Danny and his staff brought her back to life. They even referred me to a reasonable tow company. The repair estimate was ridiculously high and parts quoted were over priced. Turns out they misdiagnosed my vehicle, glad I got a second option before I wasted my money with Danny's. Won't be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

Honesty honesty honesty! I really truly feel they are a honest team! Look on the weekends they have like 6 techs. You have to be an honest shop to maintain that volume of crew.Most of their prices are fair however call around. Some of their prices seem 20 to 30% higher than other places.I never called back to match price maybe they'll do that. But they are a very honest mechanic shop in my book. And I didn't feel in anyway pressured to do additional repairs.Highly recommend. With all the chaos they seemed very organized to me.

I came in this morning for an oil change on my BMW. I got in and within 10 minutes, I was signing paperwork to leave. They were extremely friendly, fast and respectful of my time. I saw them interact with other clients and they were very detailed in explaining their recommendations and repairs. Great business model for other repair shops to follow!Service: Oil change

Once again I'm amazed at the excellent work Danny's Automotive does. Had my Kia in for brake service and all brakes serviced with pads and other minor parts. All done within the day. I feel spoiled as my previous Folsom mechanics always made me wait three days for anything. Always friendly and great work done every time I bring my cars in.

Pulled the old bait and switch on us.Quoted us $95 over the phone for the diagnosis.I clearly told them we had multiple problems and they said they charged $95 per problem when we arrived.Maybe other people put up with these shenanigans but not us.After reading some of the reviews, a lot of people experienced the same trickery.This is why I loath taking our cars in any shop.They hook you in with a diagnostic fee, trapping you into investing into your vehicle at their shop.Forcing obligation to use them.It s a total scam.There should be zero diagnostic fees.Not a way to run a business with integrity.

Used Danny's Automotive a few times now. had to go to Rancho Cordova site due to no availability at Orangevale site. Same great service. Very happy with the service provided.

Aside from having rude staff. They did a rush job on my oil change and didn't seal or tighten the oil pan and I almost blew my engine because of it. Sometimes taking your time and doing the job right is better than getting the work done in record time but doing it all wrong

Very popular and for very good reason. I came in for oil change before 8 am and found two people already in line waiting for Danny's to open up. A third person was waiting in his truck and had been there since 7:15 am. After they opened, their small waiting room started to fill. All customers were processed in a friendly, efficient and professional manner. Good service is well worth waiting for. By 8:30 am my car had its oil changed and I was on the road again. The price paid for an oil change was almost $60. But the best things almost always cost more, right? My 5 out of 5 star rating says it all. Excellent service and highly recommended for your car's needs.

I went here to see about my car getting service here because my daughter and son in-law recommended them. When I called I got great customer service. So I stopped by on my way home and I got a full dose of pleasent atmosphere and even more great customer service. I haven't taken my car there yet but just based on interaction with every employees I would recommend them. I'm really sceptical about auto shops but they really put me at ease. Thanks Danny's.

Great customer service. Very efficient staff. My car was dying on my way to work but I was able to make it to the shop. They took care of me in less than 2 hours. New belt and alternator for my Toyota Corolla 2010.

Excellent work by experienced mechanics and prices are really there to help everyone afford to fix their vehicle , and discounts for repeat customers, you can't beat that anywhere, I'll go no where else, I've taken 3 of my vehicles there

This was my first time taking my car to Danny's, and it ended up being a bigger job than I was hoping for, but they were cooperative and honest the entire time. Although it was my first time, they treated me as if I'd been going there for a while, and I greatly appreciated it. I will definitely be coming back and highly refer them for anyone needing a mechanic!

Been taking two cars here for years, from oil changes to more major repairs. Always satisfied with the labor and pricing. Open on Saturdays is a huge plus.

I needed an oil change. So, I started to the nearest auto place to me on Folsom Blvd. There are FIVE auto places for oil changes in a row on Folsom Blvd, and one after another wanted OVER $60 for my vehicle, and had 2+ hours wait time! My last call, and last stop was Danny s. 10-15 min, they said. I didn t believe it. I pulled in, and, sure enough, about 10-12 minutes later, just UNDER $60, and my oil is changed! Whhooo-hooo!!! I m coming back! Thanks so much to Chris at the counter, who was Quick and professional. I found a new oil change place, and I highly recommend it. As I already said, I will return. Thanks again!!!
