We took our RV in, well the new owner did as we needed some diagnostics done in order to get the smog registered. The gentlemen was great and gave a detailed report of what had been done and why. We definetly felt that he was providing good service. When I asked for a few photos regarding one of the parts that was replaced, previously I had paid for the same service from another mechanic and the other mechanic asked for photos of what was replaced so that I could get a credit or money back, Discount RV said that they always take photos of parts that get replaced. I said that is great news! This will save me $200 as I will be able to provide this proof to my regular mechanic. She said that she would email the photos. I never received them. I asked again, and again I did not get a reply back. Needless to say they had no problem running my credit card for $1,750, however when I needed the photos to get a credit for the $200 from my other mechanic, they were no where to be found.

After a horrible experience at another shop in Ramona I took my RV to Discount RV for generator diagnosis and repair. Barney and the team were very personable and up front about the process. The other shop quoted me $1200 to repair the generator and Discount completed the work at a fraction of this (it did take a few days longer than expected as they are busy!). As a 27 year resident of Ramona I will definitely use Discount for future needs and highly recommend them to friends and family.

I took my recently purchased 2005 Coleman Tent trailer here. I cannot say enough good things about the service. Very fine, upstanding business with excellent customer service and ethics. I will continue to use them. When I upgrade in the future to a motorized RV I intend to have them help me with my selection, then maintain once I have purchased. Great people, easy to talk to. To be honest I do not see many family businesses of this quality anymore. I highly recommend for anyone needing RV service!

My wife and I began our process of customizing and repairing our Scamp travel trailer five years ago. We tried several RV shops in the San Diego area and even ventured up I-15. We knew that we were looking for competence, integrity, and fair prices. All of those shops disappointed us. Discount RV was different. Barney and Tori meet all of our needs. They prepared our trailer for a trip to Newfoundland and back with lots of detours. We arrived home safely. We have asked them to get the trailer ready for a trip to Alaska this summer. We are confident that it will be right. The crew at Discount RV can provide expertise and honest communication without concern that you are being fleeced. Barney and Tori were wonderful. They were super swamped with work but did an excellent job determining what was wrong with my older RV, ordering the correct parts and installing them when they arrived. A tire on my 5th wheel trailer blew up and caused a fair amout of damage. I took it in for repair work covered by my insurance. The folks at Discount RV generated a detailed estimate for the repair work in a timely mannor and submitted to my insurance company for me. My insurance ended up "totaling" the trailer. So I did not get to see the quality of their repair work but they are great to work with and I will use them for any future RV repair work.

Barney and his team are awesome. We have a motorhome that has had a few issues and we had multiple different companies try to fix it with no avail. Barney figured out the issues. we are so happy and found ourself a new RV repair guy. Very reasonable priced. He really knows his stuff.

While traveling alone on the road it can be really difficult to trust an RV repair company. But not here. Discount RV Center is a family owned company that treats you like family. I just can't believe how great Discount RV was at fixing my motorhome! I recently bought a used coach and needed some body work done. It had to be done before our trip to make the journey safe. I went in a spoke to Barney who squeezed us in at the last minute. Barney worked over the weekend and got us road-ready! Not only that but it looks great and he came in at half the price he originally quoted me. This is our 4th RV and I only wish I knew about this place earlier! Super attentive, fast, inexpensive and friendly too!

Discount RV can't be beat. Barney and crew go out of their way to take care of their customers. We have had several major issues with our RV and they have handled each professionally and completely. They are super knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. They do excellent work and try to do it most economically for the customer by taking the time to research best costs, replacement vs repair, shipping, even taking on the big manufacturers to get warranty repairs covered. Barney, Ed and Tori are always available to answer our questions, to make a quick fix to get us on the road, and to fix issues that other shops could not. We won't take our motorhome anywhere else. If you own an RV, and need work look no more. Barney and his crew are what we all hope for. Honest, reliable, professional, caring. I could go on and on. I'm 76 and been around the block a time or two. I don't give recommendations lightly. Discount RV is the place to be.

Our RV is a 2018. Winnebago Navion and had a long checklist of issues that needed to be addressed and were completely satisfied with the expertise, professionalism,and timely manner in which the were resolved! Barney and Tori are the kind of people you love doing business with! We are full time RVer s who left our home in their hands and couldn t be happier with their care, understanding and flexibility. My wife and I both contracted COVID and couldn t pick up our RV until after quarantine and they understood completely without issue!!! We can t thank them enough and will be happy to recommend them to anyone without reservation. What you can expect, at Discount R/V in Ramona Calif.Meet the owner and operator. Mr. Berny Kelly.As an owner of an R/V, that needed a real special person to fix the damage floor, caused by the water tank not being vented. Berny was that special person. In the middle of Covid-19, with every one running for cover. Berny and his long-establish crew made it all happen. With in just day's Berny had the Insurance company saying yes to all the repairs. Keep in mind that this was no easy job releveling the floor frame. The scope of the work required, removing the slide, Kitchen Cabinets, generator, water tank, the dinette, and all the floor covering. The outcome was perfect. My wife and I are so happy with quality of workmanship and the New floor is perfect. Berny is highly skilled in repairing R/V of all kinds, as I have watched his work in Lakeside prior to his move to Ramona Calif, Berny is skilled in making body parts that are not available, and so much more. Discount RV really treated us well and we wouldn't ever bring our Allegro Bus anywhere else for body or paint work. Not only is their work excellent, but they really seemed to care about the detail of quality craftsmanship. Thanks Ed, Barney and Tory!

Greatest place to go for all your rv needs. Just got my 5th wheel toy hauler back and they did a great job. Very reasonable pricing and Barney is super knowledgeable and spent the time to go over everything with me. I will never go somewhere else.

It was like I came home to family. The atmosphere is great and very professional. Camp Run-a-muck is the ideal place to have all your RV work done. I highly recommend if your in the SoCal area, look them up, you will find none better. Mrs. Tori runs a tight ship and Barney act like he is in charge, lol. You need to be careful how you ask your question on repairs. I was pretty sure on my 1st visit i said i "thought" my inverter was bad but you tell me. A week later my rv got a new inverter and was told all electrical checks out. Later while boon docking my inverter wasn't charging my batteries, so i made another appointment this go around i was charged 2 extra hours to diagnose there was a short in the wiring from inverter to batteries and when i questioned the 2 hours and why was this missed from first go around i was told i said i quote you said replace my inverter... then was told come get my rv and never come back. So beware of how you request work and think about recording if in doubt.

From the first call We knew these guys are the best RV repair company we have met. They listened to what we needed then gave us our options . Once we agreed RV Discount kept every promise they made to complete our repairs on time with Excellent quality. We are completely satisfied with the service and workmanship. We have beyond pleased with the service here. They stand behind their work. After having repairs done, it was determined that a worker had installed the wrong steps, not only did they fix the issue, but we have better stairs than before. They will be honest. We are a full time rv living family, and the have the option to stay in your trailer at night while they are repairing. Knowing that you live in it, you get work done fast.

Great friendly service. Quick effective and straightforward. Highly recommend to anyone needing prompt quality work to be done. Side note my RV was damaged by the tow driver at drop off and they made sure to have it documented which was great since I couldn't be there.

They were very friendly and very understanding when we spoke to them. They understood the issues we had with our broken slide-out. BUT, that s where it all stopped. They said our parts were ordered and were waiting to be installed. No action, however, was taken. After repeated calls no one came out or returned our phone calls. Several weeks passed after numerous reassurances about someone coming out and fixing our issue. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE! Don t waste your time using this business to actually SOLVE your problems. If you want someone nice and reassuring to speak to, then by all means call them, but don t expect any action to be taken. Don t waste your time, call someone else and save yourself weeks of headache and aggravation. Thanks for wasting our time!!!
