Rick was so kind and helpful. He got my car smogged super quick with a nice cool waiting room. He also gave me the name of a body shop he recommends. The parking lot is a little confusing because it's full of all car places, but if I can figure it out, so can you!

Stop shopping and just go to "Poway Test Only" to get you smog testing done! Best price anywhere and very fast. I was out in 10 minutes. Rick knows his business and gets it done. Got gas at Costco then went to this place to get smog check. It took longer to get the gas! Made an appointment, friendly knowledgeable staff made experience super quick and painless.

Excellent, professional experience. The friendly staff quickly handled testing my vehicle and guided me through the registration process for the DMV. Definitely recommend (*appointment MANDATORY)

Been taking my vehicles here for years and recommend this place to everyone I know, and even those I don't know, for Test Only.Rick is a real honest, straightforward guy to do business with. We actually live just above National City and have Rick smog test all of our cars. Today I heard he's moving to a different location. Where he is right now he's been there for over seventeen years. I'll provide a picture when he moves to the new location.Just went again today 08/29/2022 and was in and out in a jiffy. I will be seeing Rick again in the next month or month and a half for another vehicle.

Rick was slammed and busy, and I came in without an appointment. But he decided to squeeze me into his busy day anyway! Super kind and helpful. Went above and beyond for sure! If you want great service, come here!

Owner berated me for parking in their "parking spots" even though they are unmarked. Instead of politely asking me to move, he was extremely rude, though I moved anyway. He made some crude joke about parking at another spot as well. Do NOT go here if this is any reflection of their service. I surely never will

I have 4 old cars now, including 25 yr old MBZ and Honda. I follow Rick's advice for my older cars and I have always passed. I've been going here for at least 10 yrs now. Rick is great and a good honest person. Crotchety old man, but lovable too.

My family & I have been going here for over 15 years now. We refer every one we know & all coworkers we have had to this place for ANY smog, not just Test Only. Rick is awesome!!! This is "the fastest smog in the west"!

Needed a smog test in a hurry. Was able to get an appointment same day and get in and out in less than 30 minutes. The fees were very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend bringing your smog business here. A+ auto customers make sure you tell him A+ sent you.

This is a really great place to come to get your vehicle smog checked. I've come here 3 or 4 times over the years and always get fast, friendly and accommodating service. One time the owner helped me and took extra time to look up information online when my vehicle didn't have the proper sticker on the exhaust system.

Had a great experience at this Poway Test Only. Tested an older Mercedes, it passed without issues. Friendly service and the older gentleman who runs the shop is typical Poway. That's a compliment! The parking lot is nuts with the recycling center so stay inside and enjoy the simple ambiance.

Took my 2010 Camaro SS to get tested. Called ahead of time (it says appointment only on the website) got right in the same day. The gentleman was very friendly and curtious, put my car up on the ramp and 10 minutes later I was driving out a satisfied customer..Hope not to be in CA in 2 years, but if I am, I'll be going back

Do NOT go here! The old man left a giant 13" deep scratch on the fresh truck I had just purchased, the scratch was fresh and he said he didn't wanna pay for the damage! He doesn't care about his business and because of that I now have a giant scratch. Again, do NOT go here!
