Vehicles serviced: 2012 Honda Odyssey & 2004 Lexus RX330I typically do my own maintenance, such as brake pad replacement and oils changes (the easier things). However, when I run into things that I ve never dealt with, or can t fix in my own, I take it here.Eli and his team are the among the best mechanics I ve dealt with. Honest and upfront about what needs immediate attention versus what can be put off for a bit. For example, one issue with my Honda caused an oil leak into the engine. It would have cost me thousands to fix (and I was willing to pay it), but Eli mentioned that it was a common issue with Hondas, and that Honda provided an extended warranty for it. In comparison, the Honda service rep tried to blame me for the issue, and I had to verify with corporate that it was a covered issue.I have recommended Poway Import Auto Experts to friends and family, and wouldn t hesitate to return for future service work.

I've brought my cars over the years to Poway Import Auto Experts and I've never been disappointed. I always get consistent professional service. Whether it's something simple or more complicated, Eli and his staff always communicate what repairs are advised, how long it will take and what to expect. I have come to know them as a very reputable auto repair shop with a high level of sophistication and expertise. Eli and his staff are simply amazing! They definitely go above and beyond to make sure you're completely satisfied! I'm so glad I found a mechanic shop that I can trust! Keep up the great work! It is the most trustworthy vehicle repair shop I've ever utilized by far. Just the facts!! I've brought everything from a 1968 bug to a brand new Ford Ranger to this shop.

I had a wonderful experience today with Poway Import Auto Experts. My wife and I took our Mercedes GLS550 SUV there to diagnose and resolve a reoccurring issue related to the brakes and rotors that the Mercedes dealer hasn't been able to resolve.Eli & George took great care of us and are very knowledgeable along with providing great service and a same day resolution. Highly recommend taking your vehicle here for honest, hard working, & trustworthy mechanics.

This is the most genuine and honest family of business owners. We've been with Eli and family for 9 years; even after we moved from the area, we still came back to continue to have our vehicles serviced there. Their ethical and reliable contribution to my family's safety and well being are second to none. We're going to miss you guys but will always be in your Grace's and your satisfied customer family.

Every time I need anything done on my cars I always go here. I go for every oil change, inspection, tire rotation, etc. They have always been extremely helpful, polite, and above all, honest and transparent with what needs to be done. I have had poor experience at other locations where I felt like I was trying to be sold many things with implying that my car was going to break any second. I have never once felt this way with Eli and his team. I highly recommend going to them for all of your needs.

George, Eli and their crew are the BEST! Fair, honest and thorough! It's tough to find a trustworthy mechanic shop that keeps their customer's best interest at the forefront. Eli and George are fantastic! Routine service was performed on my Audi Q5 at a very competitive price. Will return for all service/repairs! *Backstory* I purchased an Audi Q5 in March 2020 right as the pandemic took hold and was unable to perform a pre-purchase inspection. Also, I moved to San Diego recently and was in search of a skilled, competent Audi mechanic as to avoid the dealership. I shopped around and discovered Poway Import Auto Experts; both Eli and George were highly regarded and specifically mentioned in reviews and that was comforting.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Awesome place, great service, very friendly people.Ac went out in my car and Eli did everything he could to help as much as possible. He was able to get my car in right away, get it fixed and made it as painless as possible.My mom and my moms neighbor goes here.Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, no questions asked

Best repair place ever!! They will take there time to tell me how the car is and always explain the procedures if anything needs to be repaired. I had very little knowledge of cars but they will be very patient. They are very speedy and gets the work done!!After having an awful experience at Toyota Poway, Poway Import Auto Experts were able to save my car.

I brought my 07 scion TC in for a basic check up since it was not running smooth. Eli and Kevin took great care of me and figured out I needed a new battery and spark plugs as well as a brake bleed. My car had never driven better since I've owned it. I highly recommend these guys.

Can t say how grateful we are to the mechanic, named Eli, I had jumped my mothers Lexus with the cables in reverse order causing the car to have no power to any parts of the vehicle, I was worried that I had burnt out a major component (computer or fusable link or even alternator.) spoke with George and he had us tow vehicle in. To make the story short Eli was able to troubleshoot the problem and did a hard reset on main computer fixing the problem. and only charged diagnostic fee. I was relieved that there are still reputable places that don t are honest andHelpful like the employees there. Thank you so much to Eli and George A++++

I have been bringing my vehicles here for over six years. After relocating to San Diego I had been in need of a trustworthy and honest auto shop and I found it at Poway Imports. Eli and George are professional, ethical, diligent and forthright. Their integrity has earned them my absolute trust as I know they will not b.s. me or attempt to upsell services or parts.I had an airbag recall issue with one of my vehicles and took it in to the Honda dealership who subsequently attempted to upsell over two thousand dollars worth of "needed" repairs. I declined. The next time I had an oil change at Poway Imports, I showed them the grocery list of repairs that the dealer had insisted was necessary; Eli looked over the list and my vehicle and assured me that not a single action needed to be taken on the dealer's list.My other vehicle is a heavily customized Mustang, which I baby to a ridiculous extreme and I will not trust anyone else other than Eli and his team with it.Having to commute a distance for my job, it is paramount that I have a mechanic with integrity. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else.

Our Car stalled in the middle of the night on Tuesday. We towed it to this AAA approved shop without knowing what to expect. After diagnosis the following day, it was determine that the transmission is no good. Those that knows car repair Transmission going out pretty much means $$$$ or car is done. George and Eli were sympathetic and understanding to give us some time to make a decision with what to do with our car. There were no pressure and to help ease up on the stress we were under, they were willing to let us keep our car at there for couple days. As of now, we are still deciding with what to do with our car, but all in all, the service experience with this auto shop was top notch.

George was very helpful. Called me back with a quote for my catalytic converter within a couple hours, scheduled the repair on the day and time that was most convenient to me, repaired my vehicle in the time frame they said, and called me couple days later to see if everything was okay. Great service!!

AAA recommended this shop to me, so I towed my car there to replace the water pump. This simple job cost around 40% more than all the other quotes I had received from several other mechanics. They also tried to sell me on a "dealer" pump that was 10x the cost of any other replacements. Ended up with having to use an aftermarket pump that was only 4x the cost of what you could get at any auto part store.

I have been extremely satisfied with Eli Laow and his team at Poway Import Autos. They have always done an excellent job and been very fair in their prices. Our family has two Mercedes and two Lexus RX 330s and one Honda Accord. For the past three years, we've relied on Poway Import Autos to maintain these cars doing everything from oil changes to more complicated wear n' tear repairs.I am pleased to report they've always gone above and beyond for me and even done extra work and never charged me. I highly recommend Poway Import Auto Experts.

Seldomly, you will find a very honest mechanic who, by the way, is also a very nice man. Eli and his team are very good people... Him & George are expert level mechanics whose skill sets and intuition are a result of many years of good practice and experience. They will show you the broken part from your engine when you come to pick up your vehicle. Please and pretty please seek Eli's consultation regarding any automotive problems.

I wanted to have a quick check on my car at this shop. The person who greeted me made me feel like I did something wrong because I didn't make an appointment. When I tried to explain the problem, he started to question me as if I was being interrogated. The rate he gave me for a checkup was considerably higher than comparable shops nearby. I ended up going to Poway Auto Repair and had my problem addressed in 2 hours. The guys at Poway Auto Repair treated me as a customer. I'll not come back to Poway Import Auto Experts for anything. Perhaps they think they can treat customers as ignorant idiots just because they have "experts" in their name? I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone who is not familiar with cars to go there. Just to be clear, I do know something about cars and replace timing belts by myself.

I have a 2017 Golf R and I will not bring this car to any other shop. Everyone here is very friendly and knowledgeable about German cars. This is the place to go for all your automotive repair needs.

Very nice people. My fiance went to pick up my car and pay but his card wasnt going through he tried calling his bank but they had him on hold for so long someone at the dealership gave him a ride to his bank to get it situated. I would highly recommend them.

Eli and George are fantastic. They tell me exactly what I need and why I need it. It is so great to go somewhere that you are not worried if they are selling you a bunch of over priced services you don't need. I couldn't recommend them more!
