They did a great job with my barstools! The price was reasonable and the work was done within a couple of days. They were very helpful in advising me which material to use. I would definitely come back in the future!

Raul and his team did a terrific job replacing the worn-out cloth seats on my sofa. Looks like new at very fair pricing, and got the job done within the time estimated. Highly recommended for any upholstery work! Great customer service, couldn't be happier!

I would give them 10 stars if I could!!! We just finished "refreshing" our older boat with a new wrap. They did an amazing job designing (I just showed him pictures of our boat and Raul created), sewing, and installing new upholstery to match. And they have amazing customer service - everyone went above and beyond. I think the best service in the industry! As for the upholstery...I will let the pictures speak for the the great quality of work they provide. So impressed!!!!AND they finished in RECORD TIME!!!Service: Custom upholstery design

I had previously taken in a 2005 Lotus Elise to have the hardtop roof relined with leather and Raul did a great job at a great price. It was such a good job that I decided to trust him with my other car, a 2010 Tesla Roadster to have the roof lining redone on that car. I had previously had the interior redone with diamond stitching and asked Raul to match the stitching and leather type and color. He did an amazing job and the price was great!I highly recommend Poway Auto Upholstery for anything you need done.

The owner will lie to you and he will think you are dumb enough to think he's telling do business! He will lie just to get a profit over something that's not worth it and will put you do a bad situation not carrying on the consequences that he will bring to you as a customer. He's a deceiver and a conniver!

Just used this shop for my Bronco. Great craftsmanship, great pricing, and friendly staff. Definitely the best shop I have found in the San Diego area. This is my shop for all of my future projects! I definitely recommend them!

I totally agree with the review about the one done on the boat. Originally we went to Poway Auto Upholstery with the assumption that with 4.8 stars of reviews, this place would provide professionalism and business ethics.We took 2 table tops to have reupholstered for our physical therapy clinics. The owner kept talking about guaranteed customer service satisfaction.So the first pickup, there were problems at the top and bottom of the face hole, among other things. We talked to him for quite a bit. He said that he would fix the issues and that he guarantees customer satisfaction. He 'promised' that if we're not satisfied, we can take the tables back with the condition that he removes the materials he supplied. We agreed.Who would've thought on the 2nd visit to pick up the 2 table tops, things turned uglier than before. Instead of replacing the fabric with a new one, he left nothing but a clear view of shoddy workmanship. Holes from previous staples could be seen all over. He stapled everything literally on the edge of the fabric where one tear would become a domino effect to disaster.What happened next was a nightmare! We tried to communicate with the owner about taking the table tops back; and he could remove the materials. The owner became very aggressive and raising his voice stating What? You think you can come here and expect my work to be free! He was contradicting everything he previously promised and stated.The owner wanted us to pay the full price for something that will rip soon due to the inferior workmanship he provided. He stated we have to pay $100 dollars per striped table in order to take them back.This took place within a 2 week period where we wasted so much time going back and forth from Escondido to Poway.I went back to the work place where I had someone speak Spanish to him; because most of the time I had a hard time communicating with him. We tried to resolve the matter by paying $100 dollars per table top to return our tables. The owner made it impossible to communicate. One minute he wants cash; which we don't use as payments for our business, then he stated we could pay by credit card. We offered him a check and he refused. He then stated he would only accept cash.By the way, we told him from the start that we have over 25 table tops which need to be reupholstered. I am so frustrated regarding this matter as to what business would do such unprofessional work! It was just the beginning with these 2 table tops, and he is willing to blow the rest of the business income he could have made.I would definitely think twice before taking anything to this company. Very unprofessional and lousy business ethics!

They do excellent work! I had a couple issues with my seats and they literally came back to the shop to address them immediately. Even after they were closed. The work done is definitely a step above the rest.

Took my 2021 BMW s1000rr motorcycle seat to get it redone in suede. Did the stitching perfect and design perfect . Also did the matching passenger seat in black suede. Great workmanship and attention to detail.Service: Custom upholstery designService: Custom upholstery design

I just brought in another PORSCHE seat for the shop to repair. They are "artists" on upholstery. They do a great job where you would never know the upholstery was previously damaged. Very happy with the service I received. They took care of a headliner for my truck. I brought in the headliner and he wrapped it the same day. It came out great and I reinstalled. I will be back for future upholstery needs.

The upholstery repair is just perfection, you can't tell the difference between the repair and original. We also had issue with the electric seat afterwards not sure if this was cause by the repair or not. Nonetheless Raul made sure everything worked to our satisfaction. Highly recommend if you need any type of upholstery done for your vehicle.Service: Upholstery repair

I had my roof liner replaced, and when I picked up my car, the sunroof didn t work and when I push the open button I heard a big Clunk!, they sunroof wasn t put back together correctly and was off the channels, also the microphone that s above the driver is blocked and no one can hear me anymore when I use my hands free phone. So they totally screwed up and I paid $500 + $ 125.to fix my sunroof.SO IF YOU LIKE THING DONE CORRECTLY DO GO HERE.Service: Upholstery installation

My boyfriend and I needed to get the entire headliner replaced in our car after a pressurized drink had exploded all over the roof! I went to this place based on a recommendation and would definitely suggest going here if you need to do any upholstery. The man who worked on this matched the colors perfectly and did such an excellent job! We are so happy with the result.

I recently bought a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with great looking original leather upholstery, except for 2 large tears in the lower drivers seat. Raul said he could make a new matching replacement covering and install it. The workmanship was excellent and the price was fair. The color of the material was not an exact match, but close enough. I'm happy with the job and it was a pleasure working with Raul.

Edit: Thanks for the reply I appreciate it .Original: Went two years ago to have a motorcycle seat shaved and they said they didn't do that even though the website said they did.Got a new bike a few weeks ago and decided to go see if they provide that service nowadays and they did. I was so happy and told the guy I needed the sides shaved as much as possible but the not the middle.They shaved ONLY the middle and not the sides And charged me $50 bucks even though they gave me a $35 estimate when I dropped it off.

I have used this upholstery shop to recover my driver and passenger seats in two different RV s. Workmanship and service were perfect. I wouldn t hesitate to use this business in the future. Yesterday I brought in a tie down strap where I needed a hand loop stitched into one end. The owner did it for me free of charge! The shop replaced the drooping headliner on my Ridgeline. I noticed some staining a few weeks later, and the owner helped me search for the leak that caused it, even though it had nothing to do with his work. He also told me to come back so he could clean the stain at no cost. Great guy, amazing service, and super friendly!

Excellent service, value and quality. I stopped here spontaneously due to its convenient location after picking up car from our nearby mechanic, to ask about a large rip in the seam of our Prius driver's seat. The owner was friendly, gave me a quick and very reasonable estimate on the spot and had the work done by the the next morning. The seat looks and feels like new. Very smooth process. I highly recommend Poway Upholstery.

Raul just reupholstered our back boat seats. He did a great job. Color matched perfectly and you can tell it was done with great quality and care. Highly recommend and can t wait to get the rest of the seats redone.

I made the mistake of thinking I could redo the headliner in my beloved VW GTI. When I gave up after putting the shell back in I brought it to Poway Auto Upholstery. They handled the job with great professionalism and customer service. If I ever need anything like this again I will head directly to Poway Auto Upholstery.

This is the second vehicle we have taken to Poway Auto Upholstery to get car upholstery repair. First it was our Ford F150 and today we took in our 11 year old Mazda 3 hatchback. The driver seat had a seam coming apart quite a bit. They were very reasonable on the price and did not try to up-sell us on getting the whole seat reupholstered. He simply did the repair required to minimize cost. And wow, what an excellent job they did! You cannot even tell that a repair was done. Thank you Poway Auto Upholstery for another outstanding job at fixing the drivers seat in our vehicle!

I just rolled in on Poway auto upholstery, with a broken rear seat panel. I knew that a shop like this would be the place to go, and they were closed, but working out front.I was very impressed, that he he completely fixed it in about 10 minutes, and didn't want to charge me anything. Gave him twenty bucks, he was happy. They are in the middle of reupholstering a boat, which was cool to see how they refinished the wood first, before reupholstering the seats. Highly recommend.

Raul is awesome!!! If you want really great customer service along with excellent craftsmanship, please stop by and check out his shop in Poway.I am paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair and was in need of some serious modifications on my Class A Rv drivers seat. I was stuck in a more than vertical seating position because when the slide out was in my seat wouldn t recline enough.Raul stripped the leather and modified the Flex Steel seat frame by cutting and welding a notch. He then recovered the seats with the exact match material.While he had the seat apart I had him make a pocket in the bottom cushion so that we could install a spare wheel chair inflatable cushion. He made it so that I can remove the cushion in the event that I need to fix a leak.We also had him take some spare material and make some neck pillows that can be flipped up and out of the way if needed.Raul is very creative and fair with his price. He was on time with his delivery and my wife and I will be doing more business with him.He is currently working on a slip cover for or Rv sofa so that our dog can hang. I wish I could post pictures here.

Poway Auto Upholstry replaced the convertible top on my 2003 Toyota Spyder MR2 and did a completely professional job. The top looks and works like the original factory top. The price was very competitive to. Great job! I am very pleased with the work.
