I really can t say enough about this shop , I ve been here twice they did my suspension for my Land Rover and she drives like a dream ! Recently I had to bring her back for some communication issues with the sensors for the suspension ( nothing to do with prior issue ) and they did everything in their power to find the issues before I would have to take it to the dealer. Extremely diligent , professional and understanding. You don t see that often and when you do you want to tell everyone about it . Well done ! Thank you Jose and Eric for your professionalism in dealing with my crazy self

Thank you so very much to Jose and crew for not only doing such a great job with the low and bright beam headlights on my Lexus, but also for making this repair AFFORDABLE! I had already been pulled over 2x and given warnings to fix the dim headlights, and funds now are tight. I heard and read so many great things from customers at your shop, so I went for broke and booked an appointment to see if my car's headlights could be replaced at a lower cost than what my car dealership had quoted. I was and am pleasantly surprised at how you all took one look and said you had the parts on hand and that they could be installed and the car ready by the next afternoon. And at 15% of the cost (including labor!!) that my car dealer originally quoted! Thank you again Jose and crew, I have found my new car guys!!!

Came here yesterday with an issue with my gas pedal which scarily became unoperable while driving. I am very lucky I wasn't in a car accident. I had my truck towed to this shop, which was recommended to me by "Good Sam Roadside Assistance" which is the same type of company like AAA and Eric and the rest of the mechanics were fantastic! They were able to fix my gas pedal better than the factory even. I had a very rare issue with the factory welds failing. Causing the plate that the gas pedal bracket mounts to; to sway back and forth and not work when applying pressure to the pedal. These guys were creative and fixed this very bizarre problem. I also noticed a new sound that I didn't have before and I took it back in to the shop the very next day and they quickly were very helpful in helping me find out where this annoying rattling noise was coming from. They even had me ride in the truck with one of the head mechanics to make sure I was satisfied with my truck. Ended up being just a simple rusty bolt that attaches to the front bumper. These guys are extremely honest and trustworthy and super cool, down to earth guys who are easy to talk to. If you are looking for a good, honest mechanic who is reasonable in this side of town, THIS IS the one.

Jose and his team took good care of me and bent over backwards to get my car back on the road. Even though the necessary part was on back order Jose did not give up until he found a replacement part. They are honest and stand behind their work. One of the seals got damaged putting the in the part. They took care of that at no expense to me. A less honest mechanic would have charged the customer. The mechanic also noticed my brakes needed service. They had the car for 2 weeks waiting for the part. I used that time to get other necessary services taken care of. I never leave their feeling like I have sold a bill of goods. My car drives like a new car. I cannot thank them enough.Service: Transmission

Jose and his team bailed me out again! My brakes went metal to metal (Not good!) just hours before I was supposed to drive to NorCal. He and his team had compassion and worked their magic so that my family could be safe on our road trip. If I m in Poway I only have one call to get my cars serviced!

Such a great place to get your car repaired! Jose and his team, including Kyler the office manager and Thomas the mechanic, are the greatest. Not only did they give me an honest, fair quote, they explained everything to a degree I learned how to better care for my car and invest my money wisely. Highly recommend!

I found this place from searching auto repairs in Poway! Started reading their reviews and liked what I heard so I gave them a shot. First time I went, my radiator was leaking so I took it up there. Met Jose right away and after sitting down and discussing my possible issue, I felt that he was very straight forward and trustworthy. They replaced my radiator and explained what happened by showing me the old one they took out. It was nice to have them explain the problem and show me exactly what was done- cause you just never know! Took my Jeep to them a second time and they went above and beyond having to get creative on the latest fix! Both repairs were priced very reasonable from my research and way cheaper than the Bs dealerships! Very happy so far and will continue working with them. I had to find a new service and repair shop and this place was recommended to me. They've been really good! I was disappointed since all of the reviews were great. I got into a car crash and that afternoon I brought my car in just for an inspection. A few days later, my boyfriend retrieved the car and paid the bill and we got our inspection. When he spoke with them, they said that they didn t know what the whole price estimate would be because it depends on what s wrong with underneath. Im baffled because what did I pay $157 for?? They glanced at my car and told me what I already knew was wrong. They didn t do any inspecting of my vehicle and I feel bitter because I forked over that much money I can barely afford for poor service. Everyone was very nice but at the end of the day, I didn t get what I paid for.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I brought an older 4x4 pickup truck to Poway Auto Repair after a recommendation from a coworker. I was having issues with my wheel alignment, steering, and suspension. Jose and his crew were very helpful in trying to diagnose the issue and to find a solution to correct the problem which ultimately was a wheel alignment and new steering components. Instead of rushing to sell me parts that I didn t need, his crew took the time to diagnose the issue. I didn t feel like I was being upsold on unnecessary parts and the cost of repair was lower than the original quote. I have been a Poway Auto customer for over 15 years. Integrity, honesty, and competence are a rarity in auto repair services, and I'm lucky to have found a shop that consistently displays all three of these characteristics. Jose treats both customers and his employees with honesty and respect: many of his team have been there for quite a long time, and their positive morale reflects well on the management. Poway auto has over the years serviced for me Honda, Toyota, Subaru, and BMW vehicles with consistently excellent results. Lately they have also been servicing my electric cars for the common systems like brakes

Jose and Brian were great, they made my first experience a smooth one. I brought my car in for a coolant leak issue, and they kept me up to date along the way. And, they finish very quickly. I ve been here three times now and have always been happy afterwards. This time my wife s van was making a noise that I thought might be the roller rockers. Jose and the team took a look at it and found that replacing them right now doesn t make a lot of sense because there is some wear on the cams, so those should also be replaced. He recommended against replacing the rockers unless and until we decide to do the cams also, which probably exceeds the value of the vehicle.Love the honesty and the practical approach, as well as saving some money that wouldn t make much difference. They were able to get me in last minute, diagnose the firing problem, then fix it the same day. Very helpful. I was researching for an auto repair shop one that could do control arms on my SUV. One who would listen to my concerns and could work with me on my budget. 1st I needed a small job done which Jose did quickly and at a very fair price. After budgeting for my control arms I brought it in. And this is where I can't say enough about Jose's service and mechanics. We knew there was severe rust on the bottom but you never know the condition until you start working on it. Well, A big job turned into a huge job. Cutting and replacing every bolt And trying to get new parts as quickly as possible. It was a big imposition to him and his team as they spent extra labor, time and days. Jose remained calm and assured me that he would be able to get this job completed. Sure enough when I was starting to need the vehicle back, it was completed. Of course the last bit was getting the sticker price. I thought it was going to be a lot based on other shop's quotes but Jose again was very fair. Jose and team do great work at an affordable price. Dealership wanted double the price and wouldn t guarantee they could fix the problem. Poway Auto Repair fixed it within a day and said to bring it back if there were any issues. Took the car back in for a completely different issue a little while later and had the same experience. Jose's Poway Auto Repair is my personal one-stop-shop for all my vehicles! Not only are they excellent hard-to-find Diesel mechanics, I even get my horse trailer serviced there every year. These guys truly know how to do almost anything, from oil changes to helping with modifications, in my case finding a way to refit aftermarket tail lights into my steel horse trailer frame.
