Steve @ BNC was a recommendation and I am completely satisfied with his company. I was in a jam with my 2017 Ram diesel and Steve and his crew took care of me promptly. Steve is a Man of Integrity and worked hard to save me money on all repairs. Not often you find a honest Mechanic these days . Steve and Rusty were awesome. They got my car in and fixed the same day. The shop is on the corner and I had to do a u-turn, but it wasn't too hard to find. There was a sweet dog named Jake too.

This shop was highly recommended to me, so I had my vehicle towed here when it overheated. I was called quickly and told that the water pump was bad which would cost $2700. I confirmed with another shop that this is the book rate.But given my vehicle s water pump is on the back of the engine which is on the driver side because it is a front wheel drive vehicle and there was no leak coming from there it rather than the front of the vehicle near the radiator, I didn t quite believe this assessment.I had it towed to another shop in El Cajon. Later that afternoon, I was called and informed that my AC condenser had a leak which had caused my condenser and radiator to be clogged with grime. This new shop replaced my AC condenser and my thermostat for $1000, and the car has been fine since.I m not sure who did the assessment on my vehicle at BNC, but it appears that it was hastily done, and for as much as they could get away with. Luckily, I did not just immediately accept.Not sure, I d be able to trust the shop in the future.

Steve has been my go to mechanic for the last 20 years. He has kept all of my vehicles and my family's vehicles in tip top condition for all these years! Old school repair shop. If you're tired of the pretentious and horribly expensive dealership...this is for you. Its hard to find someone who knows older Mercedes or European. Honest and straightforward. Not fancy and sparkling clean. Just a great repair shop.

If you looking for a good way to end a bad day, take your break down, rattle, or weird car problem to BNC auto. Steve the owner gives each customer personal attention, explains the problem and pricing up front, and if you'll let him he'll have you laughing to tears before you leave. After 7 years in the San Diego area I was glad to finally have found a solid family mechanic that I or my wife could take our vehicles to and be sure we're getting the best possible service and value.

Steve and his team are the ones you want to take your cars to. I have been bringing all of my cars here for the last 15 years (including my older and brand new models, foreign and domestic, off-road and on-road vehicles). Where else are you going to find a one stop shop that will garantee the work performed. As always these days everyone wants to compare prices on yelp, but the workmanship is not something you can compare. Thank you guys for the last 15 years and look forward to the next.

Chadd K. Has been exceptional, this review was long overdue but Chadd has been extremely informational, patient as well as a great guy that I #1 Recommend and will personally work with anytime I need my car fixed. BNC's AutoShop does amazing quality and i'm just happy that the problem is fixed with my Problematic BMW. Owning this "luxury" car makes it a lot easier when you have a great team of guys to go to whenever you need assistance. Again thank you to BNC especially Chadd for all the help, information and time you've invested with me and this vehicle. Steve is a stand up guy who tells it like it is. He's a small town guy who grew up doing business the old fashion hand shake way. He's honest, trustworthy, and no nonsense. Not only does he have decades of experience, his mechanics have been working on cars for over 25 years as well. Go see Steve!

I will never take my car to another place! Steve is honest, quick and priced fairly cheaper than other places that I called for quotes. It's so hard to find an honest mechanic, I got lucky!

Brought my Honda Element in for an oil leak. Other place wanted to replace head gasket, but Rusty diagnosed it to just the valve cover gasket and camshaft end caps. Saved me from unnecessary repairs. BnC seems to be very honest and only fix what really needs to be fixed. They are not trying to sell you or talk you into all kind of repairs. I can highly recommend them and will bring our cars there for any needs in the future.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

Steve and his crew have serviced and worked on multiple vehicles that I have now owned, there are not a lot of mechanics in in Poway that can boast the same lengthy history of excellent customer service and professional work that you receive when you bring your car here.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

While I think they mean well I believe Steve is spread to thin to do quality work anymore. Spent several thousand dollars with them and have had to have almost all of it reworked by other shops. Avoid.

I love this place. Steve came highly recommended to me, by several people, a few years ago. He is honest and a pleasure to deal with. I hope I never have to go somewhere else.

I drive a 2003 Ford f150 with 335,000 mi on it I had a guy in San Marcos that I did not know replace the engine and he did the worst job of any auto mechanic probably in the universe the company that I work for currently uses Steve to do all of their Auto repair taking it to him now a couple times for a few different things and I am really pleased with the work he does not the cheapest place in town but probably close to the best good guy good mechanics that work there and pretty fast too I highly recommend this place

They no longer do mobile repair, but were able to diagnose and fix my starter for a great price in one hour! I've found my new mechanic. :D

Would not recommend to anyone. One of the employees/mechanics was rude, condescending, and disrespectful. Very unprofessional due to very young children messing around customer cars and in shop spaces. Only reason there is a star is because I can't give ZERO stars.

BnC did a awesome job on adjusting my after market exhaust and fitting a tow hook on my car
