Took my car five times with engine light on. The code was for a small leak. First time they put in wrong part and second time part was defective. I would pick it up and week later the engine would come on. That light still comes on. They wanted me to leave car for a week so they could figure it out. I didn't trust them after that. For what they never did fix my car.

Mike is one heck of the coolest guys I've ever met and you could tell how his staff also treat their customers. I've been going there since he open took over that shop.

I've been coming here for years to get my vehicles smogged, but after waiting until after 8:15 before leaving a place that was supposed to be open at 8:00 on Monday, I'll never be back.

Do not use Porterville Smog & Tune, Took a car in for two smog related repairs and they wanted to do $1500 in (phony) non Smog related repairs. When they were asked to do only the Smog related repairs, They said, they would do all the repairs they deemed to be needed on the other areas of the car or nothing at all. Needless to say I left. They are absolute crooks. I f you are elderly they will rip you off.

Tom is an honest and genuine guy. Another smog shop quoted me $581 to get my car to pass smog, Tom told me it was a $75 part and showed me how to put it on. My car smogged perfectly! I highly recommend this shop for a smog or any other work you need done!!

The owner is one of the honest business people. If your car doesn't need it he doesn't replace it. Like some places you go to for repairs, they try to tell your car need parts replaced and it really doesn't, they are just trying to make more money off of you.

Don't go to this place, they rip you off big time, they make up issues on your car so they can charge you money. My friend worked there for only two weeks and he found out that the owner name Mike rips people off, and he told my friend that not to tell anyone, so later he quit because that was not right.

Says they are open until 2 on Saturday. I arrived at 11:40, they were not open.

Had gone there for years, this time the Son was running shop and made every excuse why he couldn't smog our car. Had to go find a better location and I did!!!!

I use to go there every year with both my vehicles and both cars would always fail smog and that would cost me extra so I stop going there and what do you know my car started passing smog at this other place and for alot less.
