I really like this Walmart. While everyone is heading to the big one in Santa ClaritA, this one is the one I choosePRO:- Close to highway- Grocery- Everything you expect from Walmart- Seems like less traffic than other WalmartsCON:- This will not have all the inventory of the Super Walmart in Santa ClaritaSUMMARY:I like the stock here. Good grocery selection and good selection of other things you need like auto, clothing and household. And less foot traffic is always a bonus for me

I've been going here for 20yrs & I usually give it a 5* but slowly it's going down hill. This employee went off on me because I was telling my daughter the employee LILIAN was being racists or discrimination. 1st off I wasn't talking to him 2nd he had no right to go off on a customer!!

For this store to be in this area and them not have a large variety of products is terrible.Customer service for returns is not good. They try to give you a lesser amount when the item you return they will re sell for original store price. Not happy about that

Weird that you Can't Tap Your Phone to Pay for purchases... The Cashier said the building is too old for the technology. The location and store is nice. They have a full grocery store inside as well.

It's a beautiful store. It's really big. Probably the biggest Walmart I've been to in a long time. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I thought that the Christmas crowds were extremely rude. One criticism I have of the stories is that the aisles are too narrow. It made my shopping trip difficult as I was riding a powered shopping cart (since I'm disabled).

Its big that is the most positive thing about it theres a wide selection of items and sections to go through. I do not like it for groceries at all it almost feels like each time I go to grab groceries there's not what I need or milk and basic groceries. I feel like too many items are stuck behind glass cabinets now it just overall makes it discouraging to go.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! How do you have so many employees walking around but can t assist a customer? I had to wait for over 15 minutes at the dog section for someone to come and unlock the door for flea medicine, meanwhile, plenty of workers just passing by not bothering to ask if I ve been helped, and when they finally came with the key, didn t even acknowledge that I ve been inconvenienced. The Pickup department is also a joke. They have a number for you to call so they can bring your items out to you, but no one answers the phone! I was calling for hours, finally I just drove down there and confronted the first employee I saw Alex Morales, and thank goodness he went and got my order and was very apologetic for my unfortunate experience. You guys need more employees like Alex Morales or do better with your customer service training.

Blah blah blah... stop shopping Walmart...lots of thier products are from China or made in China...China makes cheaper products.. making Walmart customer's spend more money because they keep buying the some product over and over again because they break or Destructive..or the products are always on recall because of mass Production of the same item

Indian worker was so rude to me. She kept trying to ignore me and skip to other customers when I requested for her to unlock acne wash. Her tone was off putting when she said I needed to be ready yet I told her from the jump I needed acne wash from the other side. I had to literally follow her around and she was asking other customers if they had been helped when I was on the same aisle as her a few isles over. This location has a workflow backup because they have employees who ignore black customers who ask for help. They make their jobs so much harder than it needs to be by going out of their way to avoid customers who look like me. This woman created unnecessary tension when there didn t need to be any. Why take a job at Walmart if you know you are selective in who you are willing to help?

This Walmart really need to improve their online pickup process. It was never stated on the email where the curbside pickup would be, in most if not all stores it's basically in front of the store. But at this Walmart location, the pickup location is on the side which you can miss if you're not familiar with the area. They have like 4 curbside pickup spot in front of the store but it's for pharmacy orders. I had to go inside Walmart and ask if I could pickup my order and the lady working there told me to go toward the Stop sign and then turn left. When I got to the curbside pickup area, I checked in on the app (they only had spots 1-5 available to choose from even when there are like 10 spots). I checked in and waited 10 minutes, no one came out so I had to call the number on the sign. After like 20 rings, someone picked up and said they'll bring me out my order. That took another 10 minutes and when it came out, my item was damaged.

Your employees are sooo rude! This is my local Walmart..I was short 50 cents! 50 cents!! I wasn't asking for donations or anything..I notified the staff at the self check out if we could put back an item cause I was 50 cents short & she proceeded to talk down to me about not having the correct amount of money on me for the items I wanted to purchase..I wasn't buying anything else but food.she degraded me & in front of my child,I already was having such a hard day & all I wanted was some food for my son & self to cheer us up & instead went to cry in my car..

Courteous and helpful staff. I cannot compare to other locations; this is the only Walmart I have ever visited. It is across the street from my doctor's office. Very large store and well-stocked. Their store brand, Great Value, offers name-brand quality. The GV sliced rye bread, in the bread aisle, is excellent. Have never tried their bakery. Clean and orderly on a Thursday morning. Might be chaos at peak times.

I recently visited this Walmart location to return a defective bike, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing, leading me to decide not to shop here again. The main issues were with the customer service provided by Richard and Saiqua at the customer service line. Wait Time: We spent an hour at the customer service desk, which seemed excessively long for a standard return process. Staff Interaction: The interactions with Richard and Saiqua were particularly challenging. They appeared to be making up policies on the spot, which was confusing and frustrating. Specific examples of these policies would help in understanding the issue better. Service Quality: The service felt disorganized and unprofessional. Clear communication and a consistent return policy would have significantly improved the situation. Comparison with Other Stores: I have had smoother experiences at other Walmart locations, where the staff were more helpful and the policies were clearer and more consistent. Suggestions for Improvement: This Walmart could benefit from better staff training in customer service and clear, consistent policies for returns. Ensuring that all employees are on the same page would likely improve the customer experience significantly. In conclusion, the poor service and the prolonged, confusing return process at this particular Walmart were very off-putting. This experience has unfortunately led me to decide that I will never visit this store again. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve service in the future and prevent similar experiences for other customers.

Always too many employees yet no body can actually help you. Store is a joke. Everytime I go on there they have pallets of items on the isles along with a few workers and the store isn't closed for restocking yet. I find it a huge inconvenience to ever shop at that store. Never can find what you need nor anybody to help you find it. Extremely unhappy with this Walmart. This stocking the store shelves and having pallet upon pallet on the isles happens daily. I get off work late and run on to grab something for dinner but it's more aggravating than it's worth. Won't be going back anytime soon.

An absolutely far above par Walmart in regards to the stores cleanliness, vast array of product choices, not to mention they are extremely competitively priced and the staff was absolutely delightful, by far the nicest Walmart I have had the pleasure of shopping at.

I normally don t write reviews for Walmart because people tend to avoid them like the plague but this has got to be the nicest Walmart I have ever stepped foot in.Now I will say that when the Walmart Supercenter opened up in Riverside that was pretty nice. And the one in Irvine by Spectrum used to be just as nice but they shut it down probably because the hoity toity neighbors didn t want Walmart staining the perception of Irvine glamour. But this location is definitely nice. I mean it s Porter Ranch, there s really no surprise that this is the best you re gonna get in the valley but trust me when I say that in comparison to West Hills and Panorama City it is leaps and bounds better than those two.One thing I don t like is that for some reason they don t stock Beatbox Beverages here when other locations in the Midwest do. Maybe it s a CA thing. Maybe not. Point is, I d love to see the selection here especially the green apple flavor. They have the floor space for it.I may be coming at the right time but I ve never faced an insane crowd or the notorious Walmart demographic. I also love that the produce isn t old or expired because other Walmart locations don t have the best produce options.Overall, it s a really lovely experience and definitely gives good ol Target a run for its money.(39/100 2023)

I was just at this location purchasing eye care products. I had to check out something, so I had my mother wait for the locked up goods. I came back about 20 minutes later and the Walmart employee after prodding finally came over to help us. The woman from the very start was combative, and started arguing with my mother. My mother was asking the woman why she was ignoring her. The woman stated that she can't be everywhere. However, we were there before the multitudes of other people she was helping. My mother told the woman she pushed the button first, before the other people. The Walmart employee's response is very interesting. She stated, "I NEVER RESPOND TO THE BUTTON". Then what is the point of the button. The woman's name is Brinder, she was working in the pharmacy section around 7:00pm on 12/23. After talking to my mother. I would consider this a very serious incident. As I stated, we were there first. My mother tried to flag down the woman several times. But, she kept helping other people. The interesting thing is the Walmart employee appeared to be an Indian with brown skin. Both my mother and I are Japanese. And, all the people she helped before my mother were brown in color. I hate to think this was a case of racism. But, I witnessed the woman's attitude towards my mother. Walmart, you have security monitors everywhere. I would review them. In fact, if it's true the employee avoided helping an Asian, in favor of multiple people of a certain color. That's abhorrent.

This Porter Ranch Walmart is nicely done on the inside. It is well stocked in the grocery section. The problem I have with this store is their focus on pushing customers to use the self-checkout area. I refuse to use them, because they eliminate jobs. The self-checkout area has expanded so much over the past couple of years I think it is actually larger than the staffed checkout registers. When I was there the other day, 8 registers were not staffed. The remaining 5 registers were staffed and each one had a huge line of people waiting to get checked out. This is a result of staff reductions because of those self-checkout areas they installed. People losing their jobs because of it. Makes me angry that Walmart is doing this.

Had everything I needed, but the bathrooms were disgusting. Paper towels all over the floor, low on toilet paper, clogged toilets, and poop stains on the seats. It looked as if the restrooms hadn't been serviced since opening.

Very rude female Asian manager. She was totally inconsiderate and unhelpful. She Saud she did not care if we shopped there. They switched cashiers 3 times while we checked out. Profiling and biased

To limit shoplifting. Only one way in and one way out. Checking receipts on the way out. Had the items in stock that I was looking for. Self check. Don't forget to bring your bags. The store looked to be pretty well stocked. Holiday items being offered.
