After two months and multiple appointments in trying to resolve an alignment issue with the dealership (under warranty) I was referred to Mike at Quality Auto Service. Mike and Tony not only fixed the problem but did so in just a couple of hours. Paying for this repair out of pocket was not ideal, but the pricing was disclosed up front and the repair costs were more than fair and exactly the same amount that I had been quoted. I see other reviews on here where some people seem to think that a mechanic's time spent diagnosing a problem should somehow be free of charge, sorry but things don't work this way, time is money. But what you can and should expect is a fair and accurate repair estimate and quality work. Quality Auto Service provided both, thanks again Mike and Tony!

I m shock how this place have all that 5 star reviews for sure they have big supportive family and friends, I dropped my car there and I told them what s the problem it was the ignition still they gonna charge you 150$ to check what s the problem that you already told them,then they said they gonna call me and tell me what they gonna do then I received a call he was telling me oh your car gonna cost thousand dollar , a thousand for a freaking ignition? I fixed it somewhere else and it cost me 300$ . If you wanna get scammed and triple charged go to this place .

Needed some troubleshooting work done as to why my check engine light keeps coming on my daughter's first car. Mike, Tony, and the team found a faulty ground but knocked it out in less than a day.So happy we found this shop!Thanks guys!

The guys here are super friendly and informative. I asked questions about the type of oil and tires that I should get and they were up front about not wasting money on products I didn't need but also recommended the things that would be right for my car. It has been hard for me at times to know where I can find an honest mechanic. But in this case, I would highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for a trusted source.

Engine Performance Check - up - water pump and timing belt:Mike Garibay, owner, really knows his stuff, has his guys do a full diagnostic and let's you know what's important now and what can wait until later. He and Tony, who works alongside Mike in the front office, make a good team. They get cars in and out efficiently, answer all questions and make sure you're happy with how the car runs! I've used both the dealer and Quality Auto for repairs. Generally, Mike beats the dealer garage price...not by a huge amount, but every little bit helps. And like the name says, Quality is what you're paying for and you can trust Mike to do it right.Service: General repairs & maintenance

OMG STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!...ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!!! I honestly don't know how they have good reviews (they must have alot of supportive family and friends that leave bias reviews!) much less how they haven't been flagged by the BBB...YET! I went in to address my check engine light, and after paying for spark plug and coil replacement on the cylinder that was misfiring because thats what they wrongly "diagnosed" and had "advised" me was the issue. My check engine light was still on when I left after all the "work" that had been done , and it ran just like when i dropped it off. I SHOULD have just kept driving to another mechanic. I was told for them to "diagnose" the underlying issue they would charge me $149.50, for the "diagnosis" which resulted with the same error code and check engine light I initially went in to address! "Scan for vehicle ECM and advise for further repair/ diagnostics- Symptoms Check Engine Light On-". Like i LITERALLY would have been able to turn my key in the ignition and "diagnose" that the check engine light was on and it needed further repair/diagnostics! They had to charge me almost $150 to "diagnose" that?! Just to wrongly "advise" me about the repairs that were causing the error code. They charged me to replace everything that it COULD have been (including an over $600.00 valve adjustment?! ) EVERYTHING except having integrity to actually diagnose the problem. Without uneccasery pricey repairs and alleged"adjustments". I'm just supposed to take thier word they did. SMH ... And if I wanted to know what the "real" problem was (or wasnt out of money yet ) I would have to pay ATLEAST $2,000.00 to really find out the problem. Literally OVER $900 later of charging me to change everything BUT what was ACTUALLY causing the real problem!! I STILL left with the exact same issues as before, a guess of what it might be, and a quote for 2 grand to find the "real"problem! LITERALLY the worst mechanic and business i ever had the misfortune of encountering!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DO NOT BE SCAMMED BY THESE "5 Star Reviews"mostly from years and years ago!! This place is trash now!! HIGHWAY ROBBERY!! Glad it was so evident and I was able to to take it to a REAL honest mechanic to diagnose the issue not just one guessing and replacing everything "it might be" , instead of properly addressing the "real" problem! He did a thorough diagnostics, and a simple inexpensive engine compression test to give me the same diagnostics free of charge instead of these shady guys. Check out Carolines Auto repair on Holt... ask for Tony. NOT this shady fast talking Tony at alleged "Good Quality whatever" ... Service was quick, efficient, and reasonable price as always. Mike is always willing to get you in and out as soon as possible. I have taken many different cars as have my sons and he seems to be able to diagnose many problems by your description and give you a price before any work is started. He is very knowledgeable, does great work at good prices.

The owner is absolutely fantastic. Definitely knows what he is doing wherever its comes to cars. I would always recommend taking any used car you are thinking of buy there for an inspection. They are very honest and upfront no bs. I've had them work on all my cars with the most satisfactory results. Ask for mike. Hes the man.

Mike and his crew has taken care of several Toyotas in a timely fashion and explained all the details so I could understand. He is honest and does not try to sell you things you do not need. He is very smart when it comes to fixing all kinds of cars. The shop is clean and the prices are fair. I trust Mike and his crew to care for my car needs.

Every time I bring my Jeep to Quality Auto I receive excellent service. The technicians are very knowledgeable and efficient. All staff members are easy to work with and friendly. I can rely on receiving honest diagnosis and suggestions on what my car needs. Highly recommended.

Well I took my truck in to have the clunk looked at. And they probably didn't listen while I was telling them the problem because they misdiagnose it went from having to overhaul the transmission to just a couple bearings that I had to fix when I check myself hate to say it but these guys are over price and basically just guess at what they're doing won't be going there are no more. They also told me the bearing was 300 and that's the cheapest ticket fine and I found one for a 100 bucks

Although I had no work performed here, I was very impressed by the employee that helped me. He was very honest with me and told me how to fix it myself. Basically I just needed to drive the car more to reset the smog sensors. I would definitely go back

Second visit for my little 98 Toyota with 277,000 miles! Check engine light came on, took it to Quality Auto and it's back on the road again in no time!!!

After some bad experiences with untrustworthy repair shops, I was looking for an honest mechanic and found it at Quality Auto Service. Personalized care and they stand behind their work. Also fixed problems that other shops couldn't manage. Highly recommended.

I'm so glad that quality auto has been working on my cars for over 20 years and they are always take care of my cars needs. I tried to go to other mechanics but quality auto is better service and the time it takes was much better then others. Thank you so much

Mike is one of the most knowledgeable, straightforward, mechanic/owner I've ever met. He takes the time to clearly explain the problem(s) and the recommended remedies. A good man that goes the extra mile.

Mike has been my go to local guy and friend for quite sometime now, they never lie or over charge and I'm usually there for 45min just chatting. You can always trust what he says and the work they do.
