Maybe it was just me, just this one time, but my experience was pretty awful. I stayed here with my dog on July 4, 2023 to avoid the fireworks in Sacramento. I arrived at check in and still had to wait an hour for my room to be cleaned. When I got into my room it smelled so strongly of cleaning chemicals my asthma flared up. I travel a lot for work and never has the smell been so overwhelming that it caused a reaction. Apparently, they were full and couldn't move me. So, I opened the doors and windows but it's July...warm and no wind. That night I slept with the back door open (as much as a bit unsettling being a woman alone) and still had asthma throughout the night. I finally got dressed at 4am and drove home. The room was nice, it was amazingly quiet, I loved the sliding door and balcony, and the staff was nice...but I can't risk staying here again.

Conversation is nice but not while I'm eating my continental breakfast.I love the food and fresh scrambled eggs and sausage however when I'm eating I don't want to talk to somebody while my food is hot. They stood over me while I ate it was a little stressful. And all you can eat continental breakfast and somebody standing over you is not cool. The rooms were clean and ideal. The central air was noisier than hell and we had to turn it off at night so we could get sleep.

We had experienced bed bug issue at this hotel, a terrible experience. The hotel's disinfection following each guest stay needs improvement.Noteworthy details: make sure you carefully check bed/mattress conditions for bed bug infection

This is an outstanding properly. Extremely clean and well maintained from the rooms to the landscaping to the parking lots. Staff is very friendly, inviting and professional. The owners were great. Even allowing us to cook and relax outside, as a group, when we got back to late from our evening hunt to eat at any of the nearby restaurants. They were a bit concerned that we cleaned up and didn't damage anything which is completely understandable given the level of care and maintenance put into this property. Thank you for enhancing our great weekend.

We had a great stay. Very convenient location and nice accommodations. The rooms were basic, but we found them to meet our needs. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had incredible water pressure. The breakfast was just OK, but we weren't expecting much more. There is a $25 pet fee, which we didn't know about, but we were happy to be able to bring our little dog with us. Good value hotel, would stay again.

This place would have been a five had it not been for the rude and unhelpful morning front-desk staff. When I told her our toilet was clogged, she gave me an exasperated look and told me she did not have any other toilets available for me to use. When I asked where the breakfast was located, she acted annoyed that I needed to be shown.Everything else about this hotel is great. The King Suite was very comfortable for my family of 3.

This is not the best western site. This is a third-party site and they charged me over $100 US extra and when I talk to the people at best Western they said they ve heard this happening. These guys are scammers and you can t get your money back they take your credit card information, and they pretend to be from the best Western PleaseNearby activities: This is a rip off site it s not the best western

Not a bad motel for the area. You have to ask to get your room cleaned if you like it done everyday. The staff are really nice and helpful. Really no phone service unless you have Verizon or you have to drive up or down the mountain. They have restaurants in the area for people who like to eat out. In the bedrooms you have a Kurig coffee machine microwave and mini fridge but no BBQ area for those of us who like to save money or don't like to eat out everyday.Walkability: Plenty of places to walk to if you don't mind walking but be careful if your driving at night the local practically walk in the middle of the road.

The property is under new management. The family that runs the hotel works hard and our stay was absolutely without any problems. This hotel is pet friendly, and super clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay! The breakfast was elegant, and it was so nice to be able to sit at tables in the breakfast room. The service was exceptionally excellent; so that I felt like a VIP during all aspects of communication with the staff at the hotel.

I was very impressed with this place overall. We stayed for two nights in two separate rooms (didn't know we were going to stay an additional night). The lay out of the rooms worked well, with two sinks in each room. The remote controls were placed in a sanitizing sleeve upon arrival, which I had never seen before but greatly appreciated. The shampoo and conditioner were the best I've ever used at any hotel. I am going to order them so I have at home. The continental breakfast was nice. They had a decent variety of cold and warm food (waffles and also egg sandwiches/burrito's that can be warmed in microwave). The owners were kind and accommodating. I really can't complain about anything. The place was very clean. Great experience. I would stay at this place again in a heartbeat.

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the layout of the bathroom and second sink. The breakfast was really simple (no hot foods) but decent. Location was great for us with where were visiting.

The hotel met our needs and was in the perfect location for us! We did have a couple issues the second night of our stay but they helped us resolve them and change rooms.Rooms: The rooms were comfortable and have mini refrigerators. Please note, they do NOT have freezers of any size or type in the rooms.Nearby activities: So much great off-roading opportunity in the area!

I recently i had the opportunity to stay here at the BW during the Holidays.I am a diabetic and recently changed my ,medication which has given me some uncontrollable blood suger level drops.I asked the friendly young lady, Kayln Gray, working the front desk if she wouldn't mind ringing my room every couple of hours until my blood suger stabilized. She did so much more that that. She phoned my room, on time for 6 hours and offerd to bring me food or anything i may have needed to help.As the face of a corporation and the representative of the Best Western, Kayln Gray stands above the rest. You are in good hands here !!!

We stayed here for one night. The guy who checked us in was so nice! The room was very simple but elegant. The breakfast was satisfying. Our stay was overall pleasant and relaxing. We will for-sure stay there again! The price was perfect being a holiday weekend. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get away and relax.

We had multiple autistic children with us and we were well accommodated. The room, while older and somewhat dated, was cozy and fit our needs. The owner and his family was super sweet and we would probably stay again in similar circumstances. One complaint would be that the room was in disrepair and almost hurt myself and two of our girls. The room was over priced for what we received, but at least the breakfast was decent and hot.

Great location, clean rooms!Let's begin, the location is beautiful, hidden in the woods and quiet. Can't hear any freeway noise, just the wind and rain in the woods. The rooms: SUPER CLEAN! I mean wow! I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this is as clean as a 5 star hotel in Monterey! What really really impressed me is the bathroom, a tile shower with spotless white grout. You know how hard it is to keep tile grout mold free?! Not even the window sill had mold, my house isn't even that spotless. Bravo! The amenities: everything you need! A large pool that is well kept, blow dryer, clothes iron, one cup coffee maker, large 40" TV, free breakfast in the morning, heater that gets the room hot super quick! The remote is in its own anti microbial bag, which we all know how often most hotels clean the remote (hint: never) so that was impressive. The staff: the man at the front counter was extremely nice, we arrived at 1:15 AM and probably woke the guy up. He checked us in, gave directions to the room, asked if we needed anything, and smiled nicely the whole time. Not that fake courteous smile, but a genuine happy to help smile.5/5 would stay again!

Our experience at Best Western Stagecoach Inn this weekend was great! Their staff, from front desk to housekeeping, is very friendly and helpful. They went out and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. Their breakfast was also great, they had plenty of options for a continental breakfast. I will be coming back to stay as well as reccomend and bring my family with me.

Generally a very good place to stay in the Pollock Pines area. Price during holidays a bit high, but probably comparable for the quality of the room and services. No fitness room or full breakfast (its a continental breakfast), but not really a problem for me. Very friendly, helpful staff and safe surroundings as far as I can tell. Highly recommended.

This inn was catered more to out of town personnel and not really family friendly when we visited in the winter.Thank you for your reply. The reason for my review is that upon check in, back this past January, your representative informed us that because many of the rooms were occupied by workers, our children had to be extra quiet. I asked if we were the only guests with children there and he replied that we were. Even though we didn't plan on having the children stomp their feet and yell at the top of their lungs on our way to our room and once in the room, especially since we checked in late and were only staying that night in our way to Tahoe, his request didn't sit well with me because it felt as if we weren't welcomed.

Good hotel. Easy to find. Was clean and had all the things we needed. You can hear the main highway pretty easily from the balcony, but for the price it isn't the end of the world. Near several places to eat as well. Wherever the pool was, I didn't see it but I also didn't look to hard. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
