I was in and out in 10 minutes. Pretty straight forward which is what you want for a smog place. Make sure you use their $20 off coupon by showing them the online coupon, otherwise it's straightforward.

Just completed my bi-annual SMOG test here and this shop is simply the best! STAR certified, convenient location, very courteous service and 15-minute SMOG test - what else could I ask for? I highly recommend this store to anyone who has the need for SMOG test.

Fast service and very nice people. Got there and vehicle was ready to be inspected in 5 minutes after entering all my information. Also visit their website to get a coupon for your discount. Magazines, water and coffee inside plus a restroom. Chairs and table to relax while your car is getting completed. Was a good experience, bring your insurance card and identification.

No nonsense one man shop. Was done in less than 10 mins and literally never got out of my car. Price was not the cheapest but not most expensive either. Had 20% off coupon in local mailer.

Probably took less than 10 minutes overall from when I walked in the door to when I got back in my car.My only complaint is it is more expensive. Be sure to reference the coupon on their website for a discount of $20.Staff was friendly and helpful.Service: Smog certification

There is a reason why they are "SMOG KING" they really can get things done. TLDR My RV failed to have smog check at 2 stations, one said it's too big for them and 2nd failed to perform the smog test due to "not able to find in Vehicle Lookup Table" which waste my whole day with DMV. This guy knows how to get it done correctly, he also tried different ways to collect RPM ( somehow OBDII did not connect). He focused on my smog test for about 40 mins. Price listed on the wall, very clear, mostly importantly get things done! 5 out of 5 , I'd recommend it to anyone need smog checkServices: Out-of-state, Smog certification, Emissions testing

I just had to take my car there today for a smog check and I can't even begin to say how amazing this place is. Ya, it costs a little more then what a smog test supposedly usually costs, but with how amazing they are at what they do, how unbelievably kind and patient they are, it's worth it, so so very worth it.I say patient (I really hope I'm spelling the word right, or using the right word ..) cause with someone like me, with my anxiety, my physical disability and my size (my physical disability is cause of an accident, not cause of my size), I'm use to being ignored, looked at with disgust, treated like I'm invisible, and just stuff like that .. so when someone is actually kind to me, I'm grateful.Now, the gentleman and the lady that helped me (I'm so sorry, I forgot to get their names) were extremely kind, so that on top of being amazing at what they do? Amazing doesn't even cover it.Also, no one tell my mom that I selected the max tip when the thing asked if I wanted to leave a tip

Super nice guy, definitely recommend! My car is in a limbo with my Smog test but he was so personable and explained everything that he knew about what was going on. He gave me a huge discount and told me that I could come back for a retest. I'll always come back here knowing that I'll be taken care of!

Very fast service. Especially if you have a OBDII car that does not need the tire rollers and exhaust pipe sniffer. They have portable readers so they can do your car outside the drive-in bay while another car is in the bay.Very helpful and nice.

Very professional, helpful and fast! No Hassel discount made them very competitive. Very close and convenient to get to. I was worried I wouldn't pass. After explaining my concerns he did a Pre-screen and told me his concerns.Very informative. Had to buy a part, but it all worked out great! Looking forward to better gas mileage too. Would definitely recommend!Service: Smog certification

Guessing it was the owner that took care of my car Sunday 6-6-21. Wonderful easy, quick service. Clean waiting room. Chairs outside under a shade tree. Fair price.

SUPER efficient, quick no frills kind of job. Step 1. book appt (i took same day within an hour of booking on a Sunday). 2. reached, scanned DMV paper, scanned license, smog check preformed, paid and done. 20 minutes in an out.Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

Quick service. A little on the pricier side, but these guys know what they are doing and can fix anything. If you have an easy, no chance of failing smog, maybe go somewhere else and pay less. However, if you have anything less straightforward, this is a great place to go. I walked in with no appointment and they took me right away. They we're friendly and quick.

It's not the cheapest place, but it's quick and the people are friendly. I usually make an online appointment and print out the coupon from their website.

I went to smog king after class last night and they really delivered. I never expected service like I had from a mechanic shop. Scott was amazing and very caring. I made an appointment the day before and I was in and out in 15 minutes. I am well trained in customer care and it felt good to be on the other side of good customer service. Thank you Scott for making my experience a good one. I highly recommend Smog King in Pleasanton.

Inadequate signs to indicate procedure. However, when my thumb came service was Swift and polite. Was expensive at 78.85 in August 2022.

Very pleased with the customer service and the expertise and of their technicians. I called and drove around to different smog shops, turning away from each and everyone of them, due to the lack of experience and knowlege of the technician. I have an older truck and wanted a shop that knew their stuff. I very highly recommend this shop, specially if you have an older vehicle.

Super fast service by a friendly and professional staff. Needed a smog quick, made an appt for the next morning and bam, done and on the way home. A very clean shop and waiting room. I highly recommend the smog king!

$98 just for smog check of a small car. The price is really super. There is a sign at the entrance of the road and another sign at the door. Near it there is Rynck tire. I did not see another smog checking shop nearby within 100 meters. Forgot to mention, that $98 does not include the register fee which is over $8. The guy in the shop told me there a coupon of $30 on the website but I could only find a $20 one. So even with the coupon, the price will be over $86 and Smog King think that is less than others in the area. Please be honest.

Now they moved to an easier location to find them 32 California Ave. I had not asked for an appointment but took the opportunity that I was passing through and had the papers for the DMV inspection. They took me and 15 minutes later I walked out with the inspection done. Thanks Smog King
