I had a really good experience with them. My car was showing engine light, and they were able to just reset the light. The cause of engine light was probably a dead battery jump start and then replacement I had to do a few days back. I find them very reliable and will be using their service going forward.

Very knowledgeable, capable and courteous. I could not be happier with the work done by Precision Auto Repair on my Toyota Land Cruiser, and I plan to have all my maintenance and repair work done here from now on. My only problem is that I didn t find these guys years ago! Excellent work, properly explained, and with fair and transparent pricing.

I can't say enough good things about this place! I completely trust Kevin, and always know he is being honest with his suggestions. There have been at least two, maybe three times, where he probably could have upsold me on something, but instead was honest about how long I could wait to get it done. I have never dealt with another auto body shop that I feel so comfortable with. We live in San Ramon, but take our cars to Precision because of their excellent communication and service. Top notch!

Thorough & honest. Takes the time to explain what is needed versus what can wait and/or good maintenance schedule to help prioritize your needs. I feel good taking my mom s vehicle here knowing she s in good hands with an honest shop. They also offer a loaner car if you need one. Excellent service, very professional. Will Definitely be coming back.

Precision Auto is the best! The mechanics are trustworthy and will not over charge you for unnecessary maintenance or work. I have taken all of my cars since I started driving. I wouldn t take my car anywhere else unless I moved from the area.

As a single woman I get nervous about going to a mechanic and getting work done for fear I ll get bamboozled BUT Precision Auto went above and beyond. They discovered the issue with my car was a lot less minor than previously thought & were honest about it instead of taking advantage. They also fixed my remote key fob by trying multiple batteries and saved me a lot of money with that too!

I had been a customer of Precision Auto Repair for 17 years . They provide excellent customer service . They are reliable and honest. Kevin has been very accommodating every time I ask his help and expertise regarding what needs to be done with our cars maintenance and repairs.

Took my Honda CRV in for an oil change (way overdue) Kevin called with concerns about oil and coolant levels but offered a much less expensive solution to verify if there is a problem. He also informed me that my tires were getting low on tread but didn't want me to replace them right now in case the oil/coolant issue turned out to be a problem. I really appreciate his honesty and thoroughness -- he explained everything completely as he always does. I trust Kevin and Precision Auto to do what's in the best interest of their clients. Thank you !!

Been going here with 2 other Honda cars for about 10 years. Brought my Toyota there when it broke down. Now I bring my Mazda there (it may not be listed but they know what they are doing). Hands down the most fair, reliable service and price in the area. The team there are professional and super polite.

Everything was great from scheduling the appointment, getting details about the service, all the way up until pickup. After taking the car to the Acura dealer for 13 years, I finally found the best alternative. I plan to bring my Lexus SUV here to!

It was a good experience for the first time I brought my car in. They were very clear about what would be included in the 60,000 mi service and good communication to let me know when my car was ready. I also appreciated their shuttle service which gave me a ride to Dublin. Definitely would recommend precision Auto to others!

It s refreshing to find a repair shop that Is polite, friendly, and honest. They Do a great job communicating exactly what The issues are with your car But don t push you to feel like you have to fix everything all at once. I Will be doing all my auto maintenance and repairs here.

CAUSED $3400 worth of damage to vehicle during a simple oil change. My husband dropped off our Toyota Prius at this shop for a routine oil change on 11/17/23. The vehicle was in working condition when dropped off. When they returned it to us, due to mishandling of the car or improper resetting of the computer, they have caused over $3400 worth of damage. The vehicle has lost the function of its back up camera, climate control, front and rear defrost, radio, charging schedule, and all other functions tied to the center dashboard touch-display.When we called to inform them of this, Kevin who works at Precision Auto skirted our calls many times. When we finally got him on the phone his response was cold and short 'we cannot do anything for you'.A slew of other suspicious red flags have emerged about this business since then --- no contact email is available on their website or Google so you cannot have a written record of communications with them. Secondly, most of the positive reviews on Google look like they are from fake accounts. Generally speaking, this business does not seem like it is run by ethical people and we will be making sure all our friends and connections are warned of this.

The service was excellent. My only comment is the price has increased considerably compared to other local shop. Even local Honda dealer charge $120 for the A1 service and this shop is charging $200. I will do my research next time for my next oil change and may not return back to this shop.

My first time to Precision Auto Repair was a very good experience. Staff was friendly and found a problem with my wheel that others weren t able to find. Glad to have found an auto repair place for my Toyota that I am comfortable with!

Always 5+ stars...and proven again when the wiper blades they installed on Friday had a little "skip". I stopped by, w/o an appointment, on Monday, and they fixed the problem and had me on my in under 10'! Oh that everyone I knew drove a Honda/Acura/Toyota so I could always have the BEST "recommendation for a mechanic" locked and loaded!

Very transparent and reasonably priced with the work that's actually needed. I was told by the Toyota to have all brake pads replaced for my 2014 Sienna and quoted a high cost. It was unexpected because I remembered that I had replaced the rear ones not too long ago. Precision Auto checked and found the need to replace only the front ones which could also wait for a couple of thousand miles more.Work was done well and the car was returned on the same day. I happened to save money towards all the unnecessary stuff that Toyota was frightening me should be done.I'll be going in with my even older Corolla to get it checked soon enough.Great experience...

My car indicated low tire pressure. After inspection Kevin gave me the choice of two different tires. I drive very little so chose the less expensive ones. I trust Precision s recommendations and after 17 years they have been very accurate with their recommendations. I trust my car with Precision. I ve been a customer of Precision Auto Repair since the late 1990s, though I moved from away from the Tri-Valley in the 2000 s. I m now working for a company located a block away and took advantage to have my oil changed there. The same excellent service I remember and Kevin is still working there; he even remembered me! This Precision Team is KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROFESSIONAL and HONEST.They deliver BETTER service than any dealership I have ever used!The estimated cost for my 60,000 mile maintenance service was ONE THIRD of two dealership quotes for the EXACT list of services.If you need wheels while your service is at the shop, ask about their affordable loaner car.That loaner availability really uncomplicated my life.I have a bad back. Very professional group of guys. Set up an appointment to tow my car in, called the morning of to verify that I was still bringing the car in which I did. Promptly received the car, diagnosed the issue and promptly called back to advice, ordered the required part, and the very next morning the car was ready to go. I have used them in the past, and their service remains five stars. Highly recommend.

Brake replacement was done professionally on my 2016 KIA Sorento, and they gave great advice on the needed rear taillight and sonar sensor work. They efficiently called around to get information on the delivery of parts, and they took the lead on analyzing, advising, and assisting with the installation. I would never take my Sorento to the KIA dealership for regular maintenance since Precision is the best in terms of reasonable prices, friendliness, and expertise!
