I highly recommend Pleasanton Transmission & Automotive to anyone in need of transmission and auto repair. I was at work when I noticed a leak under my truck and figured out it was coming from the transmission cooling lines going to the radiator. I googled the nearest transmission shop near me and was lucky enough to be close to Pleasanton Transmission and drove over there. Pete, the owner, was kind enough to take a quick look to diagnosis the problem. Luckly it was just fittings needing to be replaced and wouldn't take long. I couldn't leave my truck there, so he made sure it was safe to drive and we set an appointment the next morning. When I arrived, Pete got my truck in immediately and fixed it. Not only did Pete accommodate my schedule he did it for less than the original estimate. I cannot say enough good thing about Pleasanton Transmission & Automotive. Not only is Pete excellent in his field of auto repair but also sets the gold standard in how he conducts his business and treats his clientele. I had an emergency situation with my car light that needed to be fixed for a DMV test. No place was able to help me. They all said to book in advance. But then I found Pleasanton transmissions & automotive. Pete took me in immediately and sorted out the problem. In a blink of an eye I was done and on the road to the Dmv. I was so grateful for all his help. Very down to earth and respectable. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs work done.Service: Electrical

I would recommend Pete to anyone. His work was excellent rebuilding my F-150 transmission, and I have since used him since for other repairs. He is a talented and caring business owner. I recently had my transmission fixed by Pete at Pleasanton Transmissions. I called a few other places and decided to use Pete based on his experience and price. He's local and does what he says he's going to do. I'd recommend him to anyone needing work done and would definitely use him again in the future for any other work I have that might come up.

Dropped off our work van at 3 pm and we had to order a shift cable from Ford. Cable was in So Cal and we couldn't find one any closer. I tried! Pete got it on the move and I had my work van back by 12 the next day! Awesome Job!!
