Went there on February 28, 2019 since my truck died in the traffic light. I was able to start it however there s a noise so I can t drive it back home so I searched and found several auto shop until I decided to leave my truck at Walnut Creek Automotive. Explained what happened and I m confident that my truck is in good hands. Talked to Jeff yesterday (March 8, 2019) and he said that the truck is ready to go. So I drove the truck back home. Now my truck died and Check engine light is now on. I spent money thinking that they will fix my truck but it died in the traffic light and it scares me a lot. What if my truck died in the freeway. Can t spend money if the truck won t work. I m so so disappointed and it s affecting my job already. Today is Friday and they are close so I m stuck again. I will not recommend a shop that will fix an issue just for a day. Also I m not sure why this hose was installed like this - a professional won t installed a hose like that I guess.

The Highest level of professionalism and experience in the automotive repair field. You do not find this type of combination in any privately owned auto repair shop. I can definitely see why they have been in business in the BAY AREA for over 40 plus years. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for automotive repairs for their vehicle.

I brought my Tacoma in to repair a leak in my front transfer case. I explained that I had replaced both front axles and keep finding oil on the transfer case output shafts and body. They quickly diagnosed it as a damaged seal. I was headed to southern california in several days and had hoped to take the truck. They were able to get me into the shop in 2 days and make the repairs in less in half a day. The price was well below what expected. I appreciate their professionalism, friendly/helpful demeanor, and value. Although I do most of my own repairs, I will definitely use them again for work exceeding my capabilities.

This place and the people were amazing! They were able to get me in quickly to take a look at what could be causing a new, concerning noise from under my hood - which was an incredible relief being new to the state I was beginning to get concerned after I'd called 3 other places which were scheduling appointments several weeks out. They did a thorough overview of my car, then called me to let me know what they recommended to fix now, plus what I should keep an eye on in the future. They completed the recommended repair plus some additional maintenance very quickly and pricing was affordable/fair. I'm was definitely impressed and have decided this is where I'll be going moving forward. If in need of a car repair or maintenance - I definitely recommend this shop!

I have been taking my cars here for the last 4 years now. These guys just do a great job every single time. I really can t thank them enough for the effort they give to speak candidly and respectfully, and then get the job done right the first time.I ve moved twice within the last 4 years. I still drive 45 minutes to bring my car here for service.Thanks again y all!

I've been going to Jeff and his guys for YEARS like... since I've been driving around my parents crummy minivan and they've always been honest on top of doing a great job! At least 9 or 10 years later and I still go to Walnut Creek Automotive for my car stuff! Great guy, great team, and great service:)

I've been a customer of Jeff's for years - first when they were located in Walnut Creek and now at Pleasant Hill. Jeff and his staff are great. An honest mechanic who is worth his weight in gold. They have kept my cars running for years. They never try to upsell me anything - a problem I experienced frequently at the dealerships and other mechanics.

Recommended by a friend many years ago, Geoff and his crew have taken care of a few of my cars and they have always done an outstanding job. Extremely trustworthy, and fair, I highly recommend taking your car to Walnut Creek Automotive and Jeff Boman.

The mechanics at this shop are nice, however they are NOT honest. My power locks worked perfectly before I took my car into this shop. I took my car in to fix the driver's side door that wasn't opening, and in the process, the mechanics broke a plastic piece in the door that was for my power locks. Stuff on vehicles break all the time, that's always a given, but the mechanics at Walnut Creek Automotive tried to convince me that I brought the car in with broken power locks, and did not admit that they broke it. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

I use this little auto shop for my service vehicles, and for my personal vehicles too.Whenever my service vehicles break down, my business goes down. Jeff is always on the spot with his expert knowledge, and fair pricing. His work is always quick, and of superior quality. This translates to minimal time down for my business.As a service oriented business owner myself, I know great service, and Jeff never fails in this department!Don't let the rough exterior of the shop fool you -- there's a gem of a business inside!I am very happy to have Walnut Creek Automotive as my "go to" auto shop!

I appreciate the service and the fact that the necessary work was done as promised and the no pressure recommendations for other issues that may need attention down the road. We picked the shop based on location and that no red flags showed up when we looked. We were kept informed as the work progressed. Great business to find.

I have been taking my cars to WC Automotive for years now. Jeff and his team are gems in my opinion. I have never come across a more honest mechanic shop. I brought my BMW 128i to Jeff and his team. Jeff had the flu but still looked at my car. Jeff said my car is covered by BMW under the Sulev emissions law and it would be free of charge. I would have never known this. There was no charge from WC Automotive and BMW. The honesty and integrity of WC Auto is bar none. I will never go to another mechanic. Thanks you Jeff for being you!

Went in there and stood for 10 mins in front of the reception desk while the owner (I assume) was having a casual conversation with another person. Not even an acknowledgement of me walking in or standing five feet from him for all that time.Eventually, I gave up and walked out. As I was leaving, even the other person asked him if he should stop a potential customer leaving and he remarked, "Nah, it's fine".I'd love to have a business where you're so successful you can pick and choose your customers!!

The most honest mechanic I have met. Apart from that they have superb diagnostic skills and can often find a solution that does not require tearing apart your vehicle. They are not cheap, but the prices are fair.

My vehicle automatic tenisoner broke on the freeway, Bill gave me the estimate within reason. My vehicle came in around 8:00 and it was really by 10:00, very good for an unexpected repair.If I lived in Walnut Creek they would definitely have my business.

It's not easy to find a good auto mechanic. A friend referred me to Jeff a couple of years ago and I couldn't be happier. These guys are the best.

This is the most honest shop I know. They only do the work at us needed at a fair price. I don't live in the area but it's the only place I bring my car too.
