My brakes went out the first day I had moved to Pleasant Hill and I lucked out by taking my car here. I have now found my forever mechanic in my new neighborhood - Augustin. He is honest, knowledgeable and accommodating. I am so happy I found a trustworthy mechanic. Highly recommend him!!!

My new go-to mechanic. Augustin, Victor, and their team were the best to work with. I have brought a couple cars to them, and they most recently did work on my beloved classic car. Their workmanship was outstanding, they kept me in the loop about the progress on the car, they went above and beyond dealing with a warranty issue from a third party supplier, their knowledge of the systems was top notch, and their overall positive attitude made them excellent to work with. They definitely fit right in with the friendly neighborhood vibe of Pleasant Hill and deserve everyone's business in the area.Update - I brought my classic car back to them to get some new work done. There were some parts and pieces that were needed to make the system I was looking for work. They used their expertise to dial in exactly what was needed and ordered the parts on my behalf in order to finish the work in a high quality manner. They spent a lot of time discussing options with me and how each part would benefit the system, and wow were they right on point. The car runs amazing. The cherry on top to my most recent experience was the time the team put in to finish the project. A week prior to my grandfather coming to town, I asked if the work might be able to be wrapped up in short notice so I could give him a ride in a car he helped design 60 years ago. Augustin worked late nights to ensure I had that experience to share and not only did the car turn out great, but it really showed the dedication they have to their customers. Truly a 5 star business.

My first time working with the company involved me having to use a portable battery starter to get my car started every morning. I brought my car to the shop and explained everything going on and I had a new battery installed within 45 min and I was good to go.The next month, my car wouldn t start. All I got was a clicking sound and I immediately reached out to the shop and sent a video. The owner, Augustin, tried to diagnose it that way, but unfortunately, I had to have my car towed to the shop. After getting it towed, him and his team were quick and efficient. They knew that I used my car for work and needed to have it back as soon as possible. They kept me updated on the progress and problem(s) (fuel sensors are a thing apparently), the cost of the problems, and the time frame I could expect my car to be ready and I could go back to work.Overall, the customer service was professional, considerate and educational. I ve been to the shop twice and will most definitely be going back for basic maintenance and any other emergencies that arrive with a 13 year old car.

Finally a good experience with an auto shop! They showed me a very descriptive inspection sheet of what they looked as well as pictures of where needs work! As someone who has little knowledge of cars, it was very pleasant learning and refreshing. I have been taking my Jeep into shops like Big O and Jiffy Lube, and have never had an experience like this! The staff is very knowledgeable and the pricing is the best when I was shopping the area. If you are looking for a locally owned shop, you have found it with Poets Corner Automotive.

I have come here for a couple repairs, one being way more invasive than the other and these guys handled the tasks gracefully. If you want quality work, honest pricing and great communication look no further. This team is awesome! Jay is VERY friendly and VERY helpful. A great guy to know. I've had multiple cars there and had multiple family members use his services which are very fairly priced and always done right. Definitely a great mechanic to trust and a go-to for your vehicle repairs locally.

Omg thought i would never find another trust worthy fair price mechanic again till i found Jay. Great mechanics are rare always tells you the issues first never adds on more that you car needs. Price a fair and gets your car running as fast as possible. Staff is also friendly and helpfully.
