Very unhappy with their service, drove my car to Mexico, Arizona, and Tahoe, and decided to have the brake fluid changed as it s been 19 months. Got a call 3 hours later saying the master cylinder is blown and I have no braking and they will need an additional $750. They said it worked fine before they started the bleed but now not at all. I asked for my car back to tow home and work on myself, and they said they couldn t give my car back unless I paid the amount due for the bleed. The bleed that is useless now that my master cylinder is blown and my vehicle can t hold the fluid. On top of all this they tore my front bumper off when wheeling it on to the curb for my tow truck. I want a refund for the work that they did not complete.

If you want great service and technicians that will respect your decisions do not go to Firestone. I Spoke with Nick the manager about his technician disrespecting my wife about a service he did not do. The technician made her feel very uncomfortable and complained that she had no idea what she was talking about that he did the work when my wife had pictures prior to the work getting done and he insisted that he now has to do double work because she apparently doesn t know what she was talking about. Once the work was done, the technician said yeah we will get the work done any way you want it done. Nick the manager said the technician was feeling frustrated because he had to do double the work. It s frustrating to think a technician is upset because you asked him to get something done. We will not be returning to get rude service. I feel un pleased that my wife felt judged like she doesn t know what she s talking about. I hope Nick has a one on one with the technician otherwise I m sure he will be rude to another customer again.

I had an issue with my car on the drive down from Sacramento, and stopped in without an appointment. They were clearly very busy and the nice tall gentleman was so kind and made sure to keep acknowledging my presence as he quickly finished tasks. I was able to drop off my car quickly and pick it up after work. I appreciate you all very much for each time I've had to come in, I don't dread it, or the cost, because everyone is always pleasant and professional. Thank you again!

I came in on a Holiday Sunday when short staffing was an issue. Was handled courteously & efficiently with full disclosure of wait times by Manager, Nick. They completed my service ahead of expected delivery time & were in touch with me as I met a friend for lunch at the adjacent mall. The store is neat & clean allowing patrons a place to wait and watch sports if they stay in the lobby.

We took our car in because we had a flat tire. The car was promised at the end of the day which is 6pm. My wife went to go pick up the car and was there by 5:50pm and everything was closed. We didn t receive a phone call telling us that the car had to be kept overnight. It was very inconvenient to come back the next morning without warning our jobs that we didn t have our car. A simple phone call would ve solved everything. And then went it comes to checkout, they re trying to charge full price without taking responsibility? An apology was given but we re expecting more. Thank you for servicing us but it wasn t a great experience. Apparently this isn t the first time, as I overheard a co-worker say this is another (employee name) special. You guys gotta up your customer service.

I highly recommend this place. They do an excellent job. Very good customer service. Nick helped me when you want to put tires on. Ask for him. He will explain everything your car will need. He is excellent at doing his job. Highly recommended.

Hi ~ I've been going to this Firestone (Contra Costa Blvd.) for many l-o-n-g, wonderful years...I've always received such excellent care (both my car & me).The staff is so kind, thoughtful, patient, knowledgeable, professional, diligent, respectful, & friendly :-)Everyone is highly trained & experienced. They diagnose & repair perfectly, each time.I can't imagine ever going anywhere else, & hopefully will never need to...Nick, the Store Manager, & Omar, the Service Manager run a tight ship, with both of them being so efficient, keeping things moving, yet remaining incredibly patient with the customers.I'm so impressed by how they interact with people, with phones ringing constantly (which would drive me crazy...).Even when things get so incredibly busy (pretty much always...) they remain calm & focused.The sales associates up front, along with the service techs are also equally amazing (especially with such great role models as Nick & Omar to follow).I want to include the names of all the guys who have at some time been such a blessing to me: Arman, Carlos, James, Eric, Chester, Chris, Nathan, Marko, & Ray :-)I truly feel that this is my Firestone Family, as they make my time there so special, while caring for my car (& me).If you're in need of repairs/upkeep, this Firestone's the place to be!Peace & Joy, in & through all ~ Cindy :-)

Service was very good. I downgraded 2 points due to the lengthy wait time to drop off my vehicle for an appointment. Staff was backed up. They did eventually inform the 3 people waiting that they would get to us. However, I would have appreciated being acknowledged right away with a friendly "Hello sir, I'll be with you as soon as I am finished with this customer on the phone).

Booked an 'appointment' for 11am. Learned that it is literally pointless booking meetings since they mean nothing 'if they are busy'. They are always busy. Always excuses. 2 hours to mount and balance two tires, at best a 30 minute job. Wasting people's time. I would have gone elsewhere. My time is important. It was wasted by them. This is a common complaint, per the other reviews. I took a chance and wished I had not. There are many other tire places just up the road. Go to any of them.

We came to Firestone an hour before closing on a Thursday to get price and availability of a set of tires. We were helped by Nick. What we needed was not in stock but he showed us several tire styles to choose from, ordered what we chose, and scheduled the installation for the following day. The work was completed the next day and we re very happy with the service, the tires, and the lifetime warranty for the alignment. Thank you Nick. Great customer service.!

Nick/Manager met and exceeded my expectations when I came to the Pleasant Hill store to have them rectify an issue caused by an inferior Automotive Service company named Vulvaline. They replaced all 4 TPMS Sensors on a brand new truck that just had the tires rotated the evening before. Not only did Firestone rectify and replace all 4 newly broken sensors, they handled the crushing weight of pretentious east bay customers and with excellence. I will be bringing ALL my vehicles to Firestone, as they are trustworthy and provide excellent Customer Service. Nick & Omar, your team is great. Thanks for the service, I ll see you soon for my next vehicle service.-Not Willie Nelson

What has happened here? I had the worst ,most unprofessional experience with them. Made appointment 10 am. Week before for oil change. Called ahead should I wait ? Oh sure no longer than 45 minutes. I got out of there at 1:30! Not one person even acknowledged me sitting there for 3+hours. Get home read emailed invoice said my air filter is dirty and battery test extremely low! Huh??! Called asked why I wasn't told that while I was there ! Apology. Gave me appt for 3 days later at noon. Arrived at noon. Was the they would have to order the battery ??! That I was given an appointment to replace 3 days earlier!! And possibly they would get it that day ?!! I was furious. Left advised they would call , went down street to O'Reilly's bought battery had replaced in and out 15 minutes! And I saved 100$!

No use making an appointment. They tell you one thing during check in and it s a different story when it s time to pick up the car. They always seem to have someone call off. I wish they can communicate this during drop off, that way one can make an informed decision. Very disappointing. Stevie was wonderful and accommodating. I was able to set an appointment and she got me out in two hours. The shop was slammed, Saturday, Labor Day weekend. She knew it was important for me to make a 4:00 movie with my daughter, she didn t over promise and told meI would have to leave my car for a few hours. Good customer service and had a calmdemeanor ever thought the shop was slammed!Service: Wheel alignment

Amazing service always. I called the same day for brake lights before memorial day weekend, and they took me at 5 when they were closing at 6. Lucky timing for sure, but all were very nice and accommodating! The manager Eric was great on the phone and helped make sure they had the parts needed. Happy memorial day to all staff members!

I have been going to this facility since I moved to the east bay and always received good service. Recently since I have been there few times I have notice that the front desk manager (Stevie) is extremely rude to their customers. Not only to me but few folks that were there at the same time. She belittles customers, talks to everyone like their stupid, doesn t listen to their concerns and not to mention uses profanity while talking to customers that are obviously displeased with service, time, etc.Someone needs to explain to this lady what customer service, empathy and proper employee relationship is as I m sure the shop environment seems toxic the way she talks to the techs.Also looking at the other reviews this is not the first complaint regarding the front deck. Cheers

So, I made appointments5/27/23 @8am to get full brakes and spark plugs changed . I was told 4x that all this will be completed by noon . When noon came, I went to ask mgr if they are finished they still working on plugs and haven't started the brakes yet . She told me he was working on 4 cars at the same time . I'm from TX this same service at Firestone takes 2.5 hrs to complete, but here in California, they have no work ethics. But when you start asking question and other customers start to hear how they are handling things . They start having concerns now about their rides. No one is held accountable for anything now days . It's a sad world we are in now .

Not reliable!!!I had an appointment at 9:30am. They said they were gonna call me with the estimate amount and time within 1 hour. I called them at 11:30 they put me on hold for 10 minutes! I ended up going back to the shop at 12pm they still haven t touched the car yet.I don t have time for not reliable company!They look cheaper but it will cost your time! Time is money!!

Pleasant experience. I bought the lifetime alignment and balance a couple of years back and have used them in 3 different states. Always received outstanding customer service and never had any problems with the service. I will definitely be back for other maintenance.
