YOU WILL WANT TO READ THIS REVIEW!I used this company because I wanted to use a local company. I was going to get two jeeps sprayed but reduced it to one just in case. Good thing I did.I asked if they would be able to remove certain items and screws instead of spraying over them. I was told not an issue at all.I brought my jeep in and showed them exactly what I wanted done. I left feeling they had a good understanding.. That was not the case!When I came to pick up my jeep I was told that they had broke one of my bolts "due to rust" and they were too scared to take the rest out. The bolt they broke was the door bolt nut. I have taken these off and on several times throughout the year and never had any issues at all with them.Then I was directed to some side mirror mounts where the worker said he could not get them undone at all. So instead of calling me and asking... he just line X'd the whole thing.He did not even try and remove any screws or tape over any screw or bolt heads.. pretty much did a lazy get it done LineX job.Only reason this is not a 1 star is dude to the actual lineX itself. It looks decent but I am sure I am going to have issues down the road.I would avoid this location at all cost! After my issues my neighbor and some of my 4 wheel buddies said they had the same issues there. (thanks for telling me after).

Fantastic people, with the best customer service. We had them Line-X our truck bed and install the Anderson hitch. I highly recomend this store for all your needs and any service.

Lisa and team at Line X are wonderful to work with. I purchased a new truck for my business. Needed some tool boxes. I purchased a couple of Weather Guard boxes from them. Then they installed them perfectly. I highly recommend Line X

I needled a camper shell seal to seal my shell so I could have Waterproof camping on trips. What I was sold was a seal that only seals sliding window portion of shell.. called to fix. Was told it was my fault then hung up on.

I live in Elk Grove but took my new truck to this Line-X shop because they were having a sale on the premium spray in bedliner and had availability within a couple of days. The shops that were closer to me were all at least $100 more and we re booking several weeks out. I called and Lisa helped me set up my appointment. She was great to deal with. When I picked up my truck, there were a few problems. First, the guy couldn t get my tailgate to open because the rubber bump stop was stuck to the bedliner. Apparently they installed and closed the tailgate before it had sufficiently cured. It caused a small section of the bedliner to lift up, which they tried to spot fix. But the same thing happened as soon as I got home and opened the tailgate again. And then I noticed some overspray. They used alcohol to remove that. Also, their masking lines weren t very straight in some areas. And finally, they took the liberty of putting a Line-X window sticker on my rear window. It came off pretty easy, but come on, don t do that!All said and done, I would probably not recommend this place if you care about attention to detail. I would have been better off paying a bit more but getting better quality of installation.

This is more a review on service than the actual product/work.Scheduled an appointment about 2 weeks out, then the night before the appointment I receive a call saying they need to reschedule due to both of their LineX installers being out.Earliest replacement appointment offered was over a week out...highly unprofessional. Needless to say I canceled with them and will be seeking the service elsewhere.

What an amazing place. Not only do they have all sorts of cool truck and towing equipment, but their installation staff is wonderful. They have tons of experience and they get the job done right and quickly! They are amazingly helpful giving advice about products and customization. I highly recommend!

Tried to get a quote from this place. Saif they would get back to me on Monday. No call back on Monday. Gave the benefit of the doubt. Waited til Wednesday and called them. Said they would relay the message to the salesperson. Said I would hear back shortly. Never heard back again. Went to go back into store and apparently this person is the only one that can give a quote. That is horrible customer service. Wish I could give negative stars

I discovered LINE-X of Placerville after I wasn't very impressed with another vendor of the same product located down the hill. Even though their competitor was a closer drive, I immediately knew it was worth the call after talking with them on the phone. I needed my truck done because I was headed out of town. They were booked but we came up with a plan to leave my truck there in the evening and they would take care of it during the day.They called me after the truck was finished and told me they had to fix a few things I tried to fix myself (cosmetic stuff) so the line-x would look ok. They even painted the bed bolts so they wouldn't be an eyesore in the new bed!When I picked up my truck the following evening, the bed looked beyond amazing and better than I had expected. Their minor repairs to my bed transformed it from looking scratched and rusted to beautiful and durable. I simply cannot describe how impressed I was (and still am) with how nice their work turned out.I've already recommended them to my friends that have trucks and they all have seen the before and after bed of my truck.Thanks so much for an amazing job on my truck!!!

I asked the local Toyota dealer if they could install a tonneau cover on my Tacoma. They couldn't, but referred me to LINE-X and said that Lisa (the owner) does good work.So I walked in and Lisa immediately jumped up and asked how she could help. They had small models of the covers I was interested in set up in the store so I could see what they were like, which was very helpful.I was very impressed by how much stuff they had and what they could do -- just about anything you'd want for beefing up your vehicle or towing.I think of trucks and towing as "guy stuff" but Lisa really knew what she was talking about. Her prices were the same as the internet prices I'd been looking at, and she made me a good deal on the installation. I also had some tool boxes installed. The items arrived in a couple of days and they installed them the next day.The day after they were installed we got some heavy rain, so I was interested to see if water got in: none at all, bone dry.There was one small glitch, where a small tray in one of the toolboxes was missing. It hadn't come with the toolbox and that was overlooked in the installation, but Lisa gave me one from another box so I wouldn't have to wait while she got a replacement from the supplier.Overall, I was very impressed with the friendliness and service, and all the stuff they could do there (they even make specialty trailers.) A great place to browse for "guy stuff" for your truck!

A big thank you to LINE X of Placerville. I was originally gonna drive from Placerville CA to Battle Creek Michigan to pick a motorcycle I bought. I made a reservation through U-haul for a 5 X 9 utility trailer with a motorcycle chalk in the front and they said these guys had the trailer. I drove by after hours to make sure they did and saw this brand new 5 X 9 utility trailer. So I called the next morning to make sure I could have that one. They had 2 and this was the only one that had the motorcycle chalk in the front. My plans got changed and I did end up picking up trailer but I returned it the next day because I ended up shipping the motorcycle. Follow through is huge with me and that what this team did for me. So thank you for making sure that trailer was available for me when I showed up. Also I forget the very nice lady's name who helped me but it was a pleasure doing business with you guys. Good job LINE X team.

We had a great experience at the Placerville LINE-X store. Lisa was very helpful on our first visit and after looking at pictures of our travel trailer gave us a very fair price. We had the front end and lower side panels sprayed with 2 different colors of LINE-X and it really turned out nice. Noah spent quite a bit of time in the morning going over exactly how we want the LINE-X to look. He spent the whole day working on the trailer and when we picked it up it looked exactly as we had discussed. We've had LINE-X on our truck done at another facility and there were a couple of problems including a few drips and overspray on our truck tires which was unfortunate. Noah made sure the trailer was completely covered so there was no overspray and the job turned out perfectly. Next time we need LINE-X we will definitely return to Placerville. Thank you to all the staff for providing such great service!

Rented a U-haul last weekend to move what was left in our house. Staff was very helpful and nice. Easy process as far as applications and Paperwork goes. I will definitely use them again. Thanks Guys

Holy moly these guys are great. I was running late for my appointment and they still took me in, no rescheduling. The price was lower than anticipated. Friendly. Professional. Such a great company in our little town. Thank you, guys

After assuring me they ordered the correct product, spending 2 hours working on my truck, they sales clerk called to inform me they had not done any work, they had ordered the wrong parts and became dismissive and squirrelly.I tried to shop here to shop local, but this shack of a shop can t order basic parts nor install them.They wasted my time, don t let them waste yours.

The two ladies out front are a little condescending. And they actually let me leave with my hitch supposedly installed but a piece missing that I had to come back and get on the day I was trying to move.
