These folks are an exception to the car dealership scourge. After a week of incredibly frustrating experiences shopping for cars at other automalls, I finally found Thompsons. I absolutely hate the lack of knowledgeable and empowered sales reps at most dealerships. If you have to go talk to your boss for every question I'd rather just talk to them, don't waste my time. Thompsons doesn't do that. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable, and if they didn't know, they GOT the person who did, not just act as the go-between. The ONLY criticism I have is they will add on ~$1000 after the sticker price, taxes, and fees for a "optional" security system. Would be better if this was advertised in the sticker price since it isn't actually optional.

This place and its people are soooo the way it should be! Brought the new rubicon in for its first service. A simple once over, oil change and tire rotation. The appointment was at 2 pm. Done by 3:30. So uncommon! Done half an hour ahead of their time estimate! The waiting area was comfortable, and they had several types of well stocked beverages along with snacks and fresh popcorn! A nice lounge with a decent TV. I opted for cell phone catch-up but am happy they seem to really care about their customers! I finally feel like I was treated the way a customer should be treated after spending 60 k on a vehicle. Honestly, it was the best dealership experience I've had in my 55 years. A big thank you to Chris and the staff for making me feel comfortable, and the list of things checked on my service and for it being completely documented!Keep it up! I have a good friend who just bought a rubicon as well. He lives in Davis, but he'll be coming to Thompsons on my recommendation. So it pays off to keep your level of service! Thank you!

Recently, we went to Thompson Toyota and had the pleasure of working with Rich Prattsmith. My daughter wanted to explore the ins and outs of trading in her current vehicle for a more reliable vehicle. Rich spent time answering questions and showing her all her different options. Rich found her the perfect car, and the entire process was so easy.We are so happy to have had Rich take us through the car buying process.

Saw a truck online I was very interested and probably going to buy today. I wanted to drive up to P-Ville & check it out but was told I needed to pick a time and date to make an appointment to do so!!!!Since when does a customer need to set up an appointment to buy a vehicle???UNBELIEVABLE...Thompsons will NEVER get a dime from me...UNBELIEVABLE...

Yes, Chris in service is the best! & We love our new journey car we bought here years ago! Had some work performed on my pick up a couple of weeks ago. While in the shop they checked the air in my tires and failed to put the valve stem covers back on. When I called to let the service writer know I was informed they were busy and would call me back of course I never received a call back. I know it's only a couple of dollars for me to replace them but it's the principle of the whole thing. They could have at least called me back

Came here just for touch up paint and can say that I will be taking my car here for any repairs or maintenance I need on my Corolla! The employees and atmosphere were unlike most dealers, they were so friendly and have earned my future business

I've been talking to the CDJR dealership and there's been no pressure to buy... Matt, at this dealership has been super helpful and has worked with me throughout this process... I have an extra contract that calls for synthetic oil and free tire rotation. We discovered regular oil was put in on two separate visits plus I was charged for a cabin filter and tire rotation which were supposed to be free as part of the contract . They corrected the error but didn't reinflate my tires to the correct pounds on my last visit. This is my third vehicle with Thompsons and my first and second issue on this last buy. I rely on a service department to care for my vehicles. Thompsons you are now on notice. No more mistakes.

Bought my car here. It was a pleasant experience. Wish I would have pushed them to show me more vehicles. Tried to go for an oil change and the lady there, Donna, was the rudest person I have ever met. I left and said I would schedule somewhere else. Very disappointed. Two stars because the sales end was nice. Donna dragged them down.

I recently brought my 2019 Ford Escape to Thompson's buyback program and had a wonderful experience with Gary from start to finish as well as had some enjoyable interactions with the rest of the staff there. I highly recommend checking in with their program and I look forward to buying my next car there. Also the experience buying my Escape last year was excellent.

Matt, our sales rep was great! It was the first vehicle we have bought where the sales rep went over all the in dash technology. He setup my wife's phone to the car and made sure she knew what she was doing before we left. Quick sale! Excellent service and really nice waiting area.

We bought a used 2018 KIA Sorento , the car is really nice. We did not receive one call from the dealer how the car was after the sale. We did not receive one e-mail all call back from the salesmen Dustin after the sale. All I did was ask about a spare key.
