If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy mechanic, you've found your place. From the front desk to the shop, they really take great care of their customers. They took a lot of time diagnosing and explaining an issue I was having with my 4runner, and didn't even charge me a diagnostic fee. Kind, patient and honest. You can tell they really care and have a lot of integrity. Quality work. Don't go to the dealership, go to Toy Tech. Shout-out to Kyle and Ramon for all their help.

The last of the HONEST mechanics! These guys are polite, caring, very knowledgeable and very reasonable. I'll never trust my vehicles to anyone elce and I've tried alot. From the time you call, you are treated like someone special. Plus they know their stuff. They are hands down, the absolute best that El Dorado County has to offer. Give them a try. You'll be happy you did! Thank you TOY TECH!

I had my A/C go out just before placerville on a road trip and they were able to squeeze me in and repair it. The guys were super nice and showed me exactly what happened. They also found a damaged belt and ordered it and got it installed for me on my way home, squeezing me in yet again. Cannot recommend this shop enough!

Don t usually leave reviews, BUT these guys were great. Another mechanic had told me I needed a new engine. Turns out my engine is fine! Kyle and Chris were easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and took great care of me and my care. My new go-to place! I was on my way home from camping when I noticed that my car s mudguard was hanging loose and a small piece broke off. I was concerned that the whole piece might fall off on the highway. I went to The Toy Tech: they immediately looked at it and did a temporary repair very fast so I could continue my way home. Just what I wanted. They charged me practically nothing! What a place! Thank you guys!

Always professional. Always polite (talk with Ramon, what a great guy). Reasonable charges. Never in 4 years have they ever recommended a service that wasn t 100% necessary. In fact, they kept one of my family cars a week trying to get it to smog. Didn t charge me - said it wasn t worth fixing, as cost of repair would far exceed the car value. It s just refreshing to trust a business that takes care of such an important investment! Stay in business forever! Our little town needs you ;)Service: Brake service & repair

Oxymoron. Honest mechanic. This guys great! I think his names Kyle. Very cool guy gave us a great quote then went above and beyond to find a mystery leak that 2 other mechanics were too lacking to notice the cause of. On top of the work he quoted me for, he changed the o-ring on a sensor for free, if that says anything lolI m glad we found his shop because we just moved to the area and I m looking for friends.

They changed the oil in my truck and give it a once over they did a really good job there was nothing else wrong with my truck 2001 Toyota they were fast efficient and professional and I would like to add very honest

My automobile has been serviced by Toy Tech for a number of years, and they have always been thorough and performed well. When I needed assistance in an emergency, they went above and above and frequently assisted me without asking for payment.

Great shop. Have always had the work done on time and at quoted price. No surprises. Always get my truck back clean and ready to go. Will be my first choice shop for as long as I'm in this county.

So glad we were told of the trustworthiness of this shop. Uses certified Toyota parts... no gray market stuff. Excellent service each time we've used them. Four different people we know have used them for a long time. We are going on a year so far. Great staff of mechanics. The owner is there every day and will take great care of you and your car and keep your family safe!

The people here are great and very helpful. I spoke many times over the phone with David and in person and he was more than happy to answer any questions I had. Prices are fair for what you get and in fact are very decent when compared to other places around. You don t feel like anyone s trying to pull one over on you and you can tell that everyone here genuinely cares about their customers and their trade.

Great service and knowledgeable techs. The first time I had my Honda odyssey worked on, I had them replace all the engine mounts. In the process of that, one of the brackets broke. It wasn't anyone's fault, just happens. But they only asked me to pay for the part and didn't charge for labor. They could have just hidden the whole incident, but we're forthcoming and we worked together to resolve the issue.

Brought my 88 4runner in with a last minute problem and had very little time before I needed it fixed, the work turned out to be more than expected but the shop still got it done in a very timely manner and very reasonable price. David and his team really understand what they re doing and I d highly recommend them to anyone else.

The guys are so helpful and kind and above all honest!!!! They have gone out of their way to help me several times. Everything is always done in an extremely timely manner and with the highest quality of work! I will never use another shop again!

I have a Toyota that is just over two decades old. Every time I think I'm going to need to retire the car and go shopping for a replacement, Toy Tech has been able to diagnose the problem and get me back on my way both on time and under budget. They're now two for two on fixing chronic issues that both my regular mechanic and a recommended specialist were unable to spot. I guess the lesson here is, just bring it to Toy Tech first, and save myself the hassle.

Toy Tech is a rare find.I couldn't recommend them more highly.They are helpful, fair, and reasonable.You should break something on your Toyota and take it to Toy Tech and then you'll see what I mean!

Great place for repairs. It's so hard to actually find a shop that's honest. They even let me borrow an extension ladder when my truck was inaccessible up on the rack!!! Highly recommended!!

It's alright they did good work on my truck but when I got it back it had an oil leak, powersteering leak, and a coolant leak. Coolant leak was just from a hose that was put on without tightening the hose clamp, powersteering and oil leaks are still unknown. It's a busy place so there's a waiting list.

EXCELLENT service. Priced reasonably and affordably. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Work was completed when promised, even lower price than agreed upon, with EXCELLENT quality of workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend TOY TECH to family and friends.
