Excellent service! Best price around! People with class! Upstanding, true hardworking American citizens! They get the job done right and fast, and also make you feel right at home. Job well done in my opinion! I appreciated the wall of signs they have inside the office. Thank you! :D

Walked right in no appointment needed for a smog. They got me in and out within 15 mins. Smog was super quick and easy. Pricing was the best in town can t really beat it for $65. Highly recommended and will be back every other year for my smog. You guys rock!!

I showed up with no appointment. The guy was accommodating and pretty funny, and I was in and out in about a half hour at a good price. My new smog place.

No appointment needed, and super quick turnaround time on my smog. No one was ahead of me though. Friendly service and clean waiting room. Been going for a few years to this smog shop, cause everyone else in the area sucks, and you have to get an appointment.

That s what we were supposed to get done by them but nope. Took the car in like a month ago and they wouldn t smog it because of a tube. That s all they said though and wouldn t tell us what to do in order to get it smogged. We fixed the issue and took it back later and they still wouldn t do it and wouldn t tell us why. Just opened the hood and said nope not gonna do it sorry. Every place I ve ever been to to get smog done, if it doesn t pass they tell me what I need to do in order for it to pass but this guy had no knowledge whatsoever about the subject and couldn t give us any information. So that same day without doing anything to the car we took it to g s smog and repair in shingle springs and they did it right on the spot in under 15 minutes with no issue. If you re looking to get your car smogged don t go here, go to g s smog and repair it s much better. Better people, better service, and not terrible prices for the service you re getting.Service: Smog certification

This place was great, in and out in about ten minutes and I was done. Passed and certified online. No hassels or worries. No need to make an appointment. Friendly folks with a great attitude. Don't take just my word on it. You gotta see for yourself and feel the experience!

I was so happy with my service at EZ Smog in Placerville that I chose to write a review. I have to either love something or hate it to take the time to write a review. Pleasant experience. I also love supporting the local small business. Nice to have you there doing the hard work on a hot day! Stay cool! Thanks for the great work!

I went to Wooten for a SMOG test which was done quickly and professionally. While there, I talked with Ken about my air conditioning system, which I had reason to believe had major $$ problems and I had given up on fixing due to high cost. Ken spent a few minutes and told me he thought the problems might not be so severe. 45 minutes later I had my car back with COLD AC! Cost was very reasonable and it works great. I would definitely recommend Ken Wooten for auto repairs.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Smog certification

They wanted $30 more than my normal smog guys. Had to wait till the next day for my normal guy but it was worth it. Paying a third more just so you don't have to make an appointment is not worth it in my book.

I brought my car here after taking it to Foreign Car Service in Placerville were they wanted to charge me $250 to replace two connectors that would "supposedly"make it impossible for my car to pass smog. They mechanic took it to the back, didn't say anything about any connectors, gave it the smog and I was out of there without any additional side charges in less than 30 minutes. If you want someone knowledgeable and HONEST working on your vehicle I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for your service and your honesty.

Great honest working family. Shawn will give you the right answer anytime. Won't charge you for his knowledge. But I'm sure a tip is appreciated. The man knows everything. I can't recommend enough

Wow, must be some competitors out to get this shop? I have lived in this county for 11 years and this has been the only shop I have taken my various vehicles to. I have never had a problem and the owner has always been courteous and professional. I bring my paperwork,(or sometimes forget and he pulls up the info), he smogs them, forwards the info to DMV, I pay bill and done in usually about 15-20 minutes.There is usually 2-3 other customers in there and none of them have ever seemed like they were having any problems either. I think if he was so bad at his business like the 'anonymous' reviewers were stating below, then he would have been out of business along time ago, but alas, he is still in business and doing fine. sooo.I just came to get his businesses name to put in the Readers Choice Vote for the Best ballot and had to make a good post for this guy.

It was first come first served, there was no wait, they smogged my car without issue. Seemed a bit more expensive than last time I had to get my car smogged but I didn't do any price shopping that might just be normal now.

This was the fastest and easiest experience I've ever had at a smog center!! I walked in without an appointment, and was back on the road within 15 minutes, smog certificate in hand. The receptionist was so friendly and we chatted the whole time. My regular smog shop was booked out 2 weeks, but even with an appointment I sit there for over an hour. EZ Smog and Repair is my new go to for sm9g.
