I m not sure about the work but the customer service was very poor and I don t plan to take the risk of getting poor work done to my car. I had an appointment to get the estimate and was unsure of how long it takes, so brought my laptop. When I got there, they told me about 10-15 minutes. On the form, I made sure to note everything I noticed damage on. 15-20 minutes after waiting for someone, we went outside and I pointed out everything so nothing was missed. He took pictures while I went back inside. Thankfully I had my laptop to work on to keep me distracted, but after an hour went by I asked the receptionist how much longer and she said he should be wrapping it up soon. 20 minutes goes by and the worker comes back and asks questions on what I meant by the fender being bowed (even though I pointed it out prior and it should ve been obvious). After I explained once again, he went back to finish up. Mind you, other customers needing estimates were coming in/out, who didn t appear to have appointments. By the time I finally was walking out, it had been exactly 2 hours of waiting!!!! I didn t have time to look over everything since I had to rush back to work but once I had time, I noticed stuff missing. Nothing evening mentioning my hood which was smashed at the corner. (Later found out I ll be needing a whole new hood) I called back to the receptionist who was very unprofessional with how she spoke to me. At first she asked if I was the old lady that was just in a bit ago..when I said no (thinking she might be talking about the much older woman that was there), she laughed and said oh yeah the one with the laptop I asked to speak to that worker to review what he wrote out and she said that he looks to be on his break but will call back. And just for clarification, I was staying pretty calm with them during this whole process without showing any frustration, as I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. Then when I never even got a call back is when I was just over it with them Instead, I went to South Side Auto body who did a phenomenal job, great service and made sure to include everything so it can be a quick process with insurance and getting my car in and out in a timely manner.

I wanted to share my positive experience after seeing some negative reviews after the change of ownership. My car was backed into and needed a new rear bumper and tail light. Avery is who I dealt with the whole time and he was great! He explained everything to me and did let me know it could take a little while to get certain parts/certain things done. They ended up having the car for a month but that wasn t a huge problem for me. He even pointed out some issues they found from an apparent previous accident that we had no idea about. Once my vehicle was done there was a problem with our insurance company not wanting to cover something and Avery, and I believe upper management, were very helpful in trying to get it resolved with us. When I picked up my car it was extra clean inside and out, and everything was fixed and looked great.Service: Body & Trim

Terrible experience here. Went in for an estimate, they told me it would take 6 weeks to get parts. During that time got no communication and any time I called in they said my Rep was on another call and would call me back, nothing. Brought in for drop off and was told he never ordered the parts but would start looking right now. Guess I ll be doing my own repairs.

I had to give a star but really with there was an option for no stars. Terrible service and communication. They ended up letting us leave without all the work being done had gone to another shop for something else and they could not perform the work as there was still work that needed to be done by this place. They were ok letting us put our 9 month old baby in the vehicle with bolts being loose. NOT OK! This was all after having our vehicle for over 1 month!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting

My mother-in-law brought her car in after getting in an accident on mosquito they ve had the car for two months now they are telling me they can t finish it when I brought it in both passenger side tires were blown out from the accident which they refused to replace under insurance absolutely the most run around company. I ve ever seen terrible customer service I would not recommend this company to anyone.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim

So, I originally got my car fixed about two years ago- mid pandemic- lets start there. First off, that had my car for almost two weeks - they explained that parts were taking longer to come in- i understood no problem- but when i came to pick it up- first of all there was no gas in it (which was weird since i went to the gas station before dropping it off)but the main thing was it was EXTREMELY thrown together. And already the side panel was started to pop off. Im not one to be nit picky about things- it looked generally fine and I needed my car back for work. They explained they had a lifetime warranty on their repairs- so I left- that was my first mistake. Well for about two years i've regularly had to pop my side panel back onto my car- wasn't that big of a deal for a while. Until this morning when i went to pop it back in and realized that I couldnt do that anymore. I called them and they told me it was no problem and to bring it in. I drove from downtown sac to placerville with the plastic panel piece dragging on the road. By the time i got there the panel was inevitably melted down and torn. I explained what happened- and the gentlemen helping me told me "someone must have hit your car in a parking lot this is new damage" I explained it wasn't new damage since there's absolutely not one scratch or dent on my car and it is the PLASTIC PIECE ON THE BOTTOM. So basically their life long warranty is a joke and not at all true. As soon as you leave they can claim anything happened to your car and its not their fault. Even though it is. So dont come here. Unless you want to be lied to about every little step. If i could give zero stars i would.

I was blown away by the amazing service I had here at Stymeist!I was devastated to find out that someone broke into my car one night and ripped out my door handle and left a lot of damage. The worst part was that I was going to have to pay for it myself! It scared me to death! Due to that, I was cautious when choosing a body shop, but as soon as I walked through the doors to Stymeist to get an estimate, I was instantly put at ease. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and in no time I was done and scheduled to drop off the following day! When I got the car back (as embarrassing as it was to admit) I cried... I was just so pleased with how brand new it looked! They even waxed my vehicle! And here's the best part, I got it all done for an amazing price and the best service!Plus, I ended up winning a $100 Safeway Gas card for doing one of their easy promotions!I will recommend Stymeist until the day I die!

They have been voted number 1 in the El Dorado county many times and after having my vehicle repaired there, I definitely agree! Any collision will be stressful for a vehicle owner. The staff at Stymeist took a lot of that stress away and made it a top priority to keep me updated and get me back on the road as fast as possible, but with my safety as their number 1 priority.

My Ford Focus RS was damaged driving through flood waters. This shop not only finished the job on time but went way beyond my expectations with the outstanding quality of their work. Now my car literally looks brand new again!! They not only replaced damaged parts but painted every area where paint had been scuffed. They even cleaned the interior far better than any of the local car wash places could do. What a great experience.

Evan has written estimates and facilitated repairs on my cars four times now. Every single time I've been in he has made the experience easy, smooth, and pleasant. He always keeps me "in the know" throughout the process and Im never left wondering what's happening with my car. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

This was the most unprofessional business I've dealt with in a long time.. below zero customer service and the work could have looked better by far!!!!! Don't waste your time... You only get people who are digitally ran they know nothing!!!!

We used Crash Champions (Steve Stymeist) for our 2020 explorer that was hit from behind. Our damage estimator, Andy, explained the process and was right on the time line he quoted. We hope not need their service again but if we must we would call them first.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Amazing auto body shop! Everyone is very professional and helpful. They have a very clean facility, with the latest equipment, and highly trained staff and when vehicle are constantly changing and new technology and materials are being added constantly, that is very important! It's nice to be have a auto body shop you can drop off something as important as your vehicle for repairs and not have to stress, and know it's in good hands!! Definitely recommend to anybody in the Placerville and Jackson area!!! I heard they are going to open a location in Martell also

I had the most wonderful experience at this body shop! When I was 18 someone smashed into my 96 camry on a nasty cold rainy night. Within a few days of asking around town for the best auto-body shop I took it to Steve's! Steve Stymeist's body shop treated me with endless respect and courteous customer service even though I was so young! They had my car back to 100% in 7 business days, even though they had to order special paint for the new hood! And they even handled all of the insurance negotiations for me, provided me with a rental car, and kept me updated on a regular basis what was happening with the progress with my vehicle. It was such a good experience I never miss a chance to recommend them to anyone who asks!

Had an excellent experience. We had several areas to that needed work, including the front, where "Bambi" ran into our vehicle. They fixed everything, made it look like new, and even gave it back neater and cleaner than we had left it!Highly recommend this business.

This was the worst body shop I have ever been too. They charge way too much, take as much as they can from the insurace, then they dont complete their job. They left a lot of bolts loose on my truck. After I got it back I had to tighten them up because it was rattling so much and they didn't even fix all the body damage, my hood was damaged and wasn't fixed and the mirror costally shakes now and my tail lights look terrible. They used the same ones from the accident they didn't even replace them. They welded my bed back together and now all the welds have split it looks terrible I am very upset with the work they did I will never use them again. Oh and the paint job I can see streaks in the paint. My truck looks like multiple white stripes for the paint job. This is the worst Body shop out there. Never use them go else where

My Husband works here managing the RV repair dept so I am a bit biased but I know the reputation of excellence having heard many from our Church, and others in town who have talked about it..and personally experienced the excellent repair work they did for me on my car, when I backed into a large (but not large enough to see!) boulder in the Sly Park camping area..I highly recommended them!

I hit a deer about 2 months after buying my 2018 Subaru so it wasn't easy getting all the parts for the repair; Stymeist got it done and I can't even tell it was ever hit. Great job getting my car back to new!

Everyone is created equal in the eyes of god.It's a shame that I got discriminated against for being native American. I never thought this would happen to me. They were rude to me offered coffee to the white woman standing next to me but not to me. The guy had a attitude and didn't even make an attempt at looking at the damage on my car. This requires one star but if I could it would be minus four stars. I will never ever go back. I'm going to tell everyone I know about the horrible experience.
