I won't go anywhere else than All Auto Repair. David is honest, honest, honest...that's huge to me. He is super thorough, thoughtful and works his butt off to make sure every service he performs on my vehicles is done flawlessly. Can't beat the price for the amazing service he gives. From oil changes to major repairs, David has been my go to guy for many years. I have recommended All Auto Repair to many friends and family members and, without exception, every person has been grateful to have such great service at a competitive price completed by such a friendly guy. Dude has issues. I knew in the first 15 seconds of the call that I would not take a vehicle to this guy if he was the best mechanic in town, with an outrageously low price tag.Calling this man rude doesn't do justice.I asked simple questions and Dave responded is if I was a child, then went on to lecture about the youth of California and how ignorant they are.He would cut off each of my questions with yet another meaningless rant.I don't want to assume, but there is a chance it could have something to do with me being a woman? Regardless, this guy has screws loose. PASS PASS PASS.

Dave has been working on all my cars for over 20 years. I drive 35 miles to get it done right. Best mechanic I have ever met. He can literally fix anything and quite honestly taught me a lot about cars. A few weeks ago I got lazy and had a plug put in my new tire here in Sac and Dave had to fix the tire correctly after it started leaking. Lesson learned. If you want your car or truck fixed correctly and honestly go to All Auto Repair.

Dave has worked on both of my vehicles and he s always been ,Fair , honest ,professional, one thing I ve seen since being around him ,is that he's dedicated to every customer to make sure that he leave happy and satisfied. He always explains to what he has done and gives his best feedback on what I would need to get my car back to 100%. Will definitely be a returning customer!

We have been taking our vehicles to Dave for years now, at three different locations. He has always been honest and professional, and is just a good human being in general. Called to ask for a quote on a wheel barring replacement and told him I had the part in hand. Instead of a reasonable reply about how he runs things, he responded with when you go to a restaurant, do you bring your own eggs? I make my money off parts and labor. Then hung up on me before I could ask how much he would charge if I got the part from him. Upon reading other reviews, that is obviously not the first time he has used that unnecessary metaphor when being asked a simple question. I suggest finding a mechanic who is willing to have a conversation about your needs and how they can help those needs be met.

I have been bringing my Toyota Prius, Ford Expedition and Ford CMaxx to Dave the the last 8 years. Dave is consistent, honest and pragmatic when working on our cars. In every interaction Dave's integrity shines through. I have repeatedly recommended to friends and family that they do business with him.

We have been taking all our cars to All Auto for years. Dave is the most reliable, honest and knowledgeable mechanic I've ever known. He explains in detail what needs to be done and has even given us loaner cars to use until ours was fixed. I wouldn't go to anyone else in the Placerville/Cameron Park area!

Dave is honest, professional, and customer focused. He s also fair and an incredible mechanic. I highly recommend All Auto! I think those who wrote the two bad reviews must have written about another shop!

I've had nothing but good experiences here. About 6 months ago I was driving when the right front ball joint broke off, and with it the wheel. AAA brought it to him at my direction and without my calling ahead and Dave supervised the unloading of my vehicle which couldn't just be parked due to the missing wheel. He stored the car for me inside his very spacious garage and fixed the problem at a reasonable cost. Several times I have brought parts I have purchased intending to do the work myself and he has agreed to install them without missing a beat, something many mechanics won't do these days because they lose the profit margin of selling parts.

This past weekend we were driving into the mountains and our car lost power and the engine wouldn't start. All Auto Repair was one of only a few auto shops open on Saturdays. I called and asked if they could take a look at my car right away. AAA towed us there and the mechanics looked at my car immediately. My car had catastrophic engine failure and Dave was very accommodating and let us leave the car there over the weekend while we figured out what we were going to do next. He then went above and beyond and drove all 3 people and our 3 dogs home to Sacramento. I have not met such a nice person and mechanic in a long time. We were so glad that we stumbled upon his auto shop and we can't wait to use his auto repair services in the future! Thank you again!

Dave at All Auto is the true car whisper!!! I have a Mini Cooper and is considered an import Dave seems to get my car parts quickly and no wait . He goes above and over to help get you safe out on the road with minimum wait times. I highly recommend this place.

I called and asked the man that answered if he could install the OEM brake pads I bought for my 2007 WRX. They are brand new and still in the box. He explained it to me like I was a child (or probably just because I m a woman even though I work on my own vehicles when I have the time) by using an extremely irrelevant metaphor of that being like me bringing my own eggs and bacon for a breakfast place to cook. Very rude and pretentious. I said okay well how much would it be if I let them charge me for their break pads and he said I don t know, prolly like 400 or something . The way he spoke to me was so belittling, all he had to say was that they only installed their own parts.

Been going here for at least five years. Have had four different vehicles handled. Plus, have referred a couple of friends there.....all of us are happy campers. Never have to worry about getting ripped off and they take a lot of pride in doing the job right the first time.

They are without a doubt the biggest rip offs i have come across in a long time. Fair warning do not take your car here. I went in to get my brakes and rotors done on my Chevy truck and they should have cost only $500-600, but they wrote me up for a repair cost of $1600!. Even the dealerships don't charge that much. BEWARE STAY AWAY.

Always a good experience. Been taking several of my cars to David over the years (American, Japanese, and German cars). Spent around $1500 on repairs due to a leaking power steering pump. They replaced the pump, hoses, and some other stuff. Few months later my power steering completely went out and their warranty is only for two months. They have a sign on the wall that says quality costs money. Their so-called quality ends up costing even more, especially when coupled with a horrible warranty.

Wow called for a quote on a job I had previously called AutoZone to get price for a part that they quoted me 100 dollars this shop then quoted me 300 for the same part insane mark up I would go elsewhere
