So happy that we found this gem. Incredibly reasonable prices. Nice spacious rooms. Great amenities - Full hot breakfast in the morning, free cocktail in the evening and free shuttle. Love that it is pet friendly. Heated pool and spa were great. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back..Rooms: The suite has 2 rooms that can be closed off. Small table and chairs and couch and another chair for the living area. Love the second sink in the living area. Fridge and microwave were useful as well. Very comfortable bed and nice rain shower in the bathroom.

This hotel is a nice surprise! I like that it has a reasonable price in the area, free coffee and a drink, nice selection of free hot breakfast, big big room, friendly staff, convenient location and heated pool. The TVs and decor are dated. The WiFi can be unstable.Overall, it s a good value hotel. If I were to come to Pismo beach again, this will be my top choice.Rooms: Spacious room!

Rooms are nice size. Beds are comfortable. No daily room service. There is a light on balcony that you can t turn off, so room is a little bright all night long. Wish it could be turned off. No make up mirror. Hard to do makeup since mirrors are high and counter is wide. Breakfast was the basics. Wish they had had muffins or pastries for those of us who want small breakfast. Had eggs, pancakes, sausage and hash browns each day. Cut fruit, cereals and oatmeal.Good location. We choose not to be by crowded beach. 5 minutes to beach and popular restaurants. Many good neighborhood restaurants nearby.

The grounds were nice and the room was solid, but all of their little upgrade / upsell attempts were super annoying. My recommendation is to not opt in to text messages when they ask you, because all they try to do is sell you on stuff (room upgrades, late checkout (for a fee), etc. Also, when they say breakfast ends at 9am (which seems early) they aren t kidding. Doors to the breakfast room get locked and food gets immediately whisked away at 9:00 sharp. My sleepy kid turned into a hungry kid.Aside from the weird management decisions, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It sucks that the ownership / management seems to want to squeeze every possible penny out of the place.

Great place to stay, very comfortable rooms and well maintained. They don't clean the rooms while you are there but do clean on Saturday - so plan that in advance. You can pick up extra towels, etc at the front desk anytime.Breakfast room is large and clean. Entrees are fresh made and very tasty.Staff is very friendly and helpful.Parking is plentiful but can get a bit crowded on weekends.A great value when we stayed there.

I'm so impressed with this hotel. We stayed in a king suite and my kids slept very well on the pull out bed. The pool is small for laps but perfect for kids to play in. The hot tub was also a huge hit. The hotel is full of beautiful touches, hand painted tiles in the entry way or public bathroom, great delicious plain yogurt for breakfast along with lots of other delicious food, kind and happy staff who all smile at you, the free drink in the evening at the bar. I would certainly stay here again.

Hello! We recently just stayed at Oxford Suites for a small weekend vacation! Here are my thoughts:1. Rooms: I have to say, for the most part, the room was okay! Everything was comfortable and spacious. The only thing I would recommend to the Oxford Team is to maybe update the TV systems and put a safe in the room for those who want to store their valuables. It also would of been nice to get some water bottles or other amenities in the room.2. Check-In: Check in was fast and simple. The person at the front desk was really helpful and was able to give me the information I needed to know as well as some spots to visit in the surrounding areas.3. Hotel Amenities: The pool and hot tub were clean and very enjoyable. I will say that the evening drink & snack service kind of lacked as it was a small area and each night we were there they ran out of snacks. Also very little options for drinks available to guests. I think it is time for hotels to revolutionize past just having coffee. Maybe hot chocolate and juice as well.4. Breakfast. The breakfast was alright. Nothing that stood out from other hotels but still enjoyable. Good amount of space. Only recommendation here is to provide more options. These are the only recommendations I have for Oxford. We enjoyed our visit.

What a wonderful experience. Gorgeous spaces well laid out. High quality finishes in the room. Refreshing Rain shower. Great service. Complimentary beer each night. (I couldn't get the complimentary savory snack either night since it was not vegetarian). Amazing wait staff at breakfast. Loved the bar and watching the game on the big screen. Hot tub was perfect. Kids loved the pool. Dog park was much used by dog owners. Nice people. Really a terrific stay allowing us to see Hearst Castle (gorgeous) the Piedras Blancas Nature Preserve (hauntingly like Ireland in the mists) and the Elephant Seals with their newborn pups (priceless!)

This place seems to be struggling with its identity. We stayed at this hotel by Highway 101 on our trip from San Diego to San Francisco. We hoped for some rest but unfortunately realized that rooms had thin walls facing right to a noisy pool, hot tub, and courtyard open until 10 pm on a weekday. We could hear everything, from people running around to loud laughter. Unfortunately, the staff couldn't handle the noisy guests, possibly due to their excessive drinking. If you're a family on a trip, this hotel might not suit you, but if you're seeking to party looking at a strip mall and a highway, it could be just the right place for you.

We were in Pismo for a mini reunion with a couple Army friends we haven t seen in about 30 years. The staff arranged at least 2 rooms together last minute which was amazing. We had a bbq dinner and they rapidly changed out the propane for us. Breakfast was great better than I ve had at most hotels I ve I ve been to and we took the shuttle to the pier and I really wish I could remember his name but the driver was great.

This was our last stay here. From a front desk staff member that made it clear they were less than thrilled to have us or any guests , to housekeeping staff that decided to keep clothing I accidentally left on the bed, it is clear that Oxford has pretty much dropped their standards. We will stay elsewhere from now on.Rooms: Per check in staff, "don't ask for extras, we don't have them on full days". We didn't ask, this Info was volunteered abruptly at check inSafety: Items go missingNoteworthy details: Rude Staff

It all depends on what you want this stop over for and what your expectations are. I wouldn t book this hotel for a full 2 week holiday- I want a bit more luxury but for what we wanted- a one night stop over on a car trip down the pacific coast to break up a drive down to LA- perfect! They have trolleys to move your luggage to your room too which makes things a lot easier. Denny s next door for dinner. Great bar on site and we got a token for free drink on arrival. Rooms are large and clean. The main bed was really comfortable - the sofa bed no so much and the sheets we got given for it were dirty but they swapped them straight away. We didn t use the pool but the little gardens it is set in looked nice and the breakfast was the best we ve had on our trip abs we ve been to loads of places. Great coffee. Staff are brilliant.I would recommend!!!Nearby activities: A mile from Pismo beach!
