I want to share my disappointing experience with the auto service at the Pico Rivera, CA location. Recently, I purchased and had four tires installed, only to encounter a check tire pressure warning light on my way home. Upon inspection, all four tires displayed different readings, with the driver's side tire registering at 51psi nearly 10psi over the tire manufacturer's max limit. Furthermore, I discovered that two of the tires were missing valve caps, a small detail that undermines my confidence in the installation. It's disheartening to note that this issue seems to be a recurring problem, as highlighted in other Google reviews for the same location. I hope these concerns are addressed promptly.

I decided to buy a new tires on Walmart and have a them to change at their auto centers. I told them that I wanted to keep my old tires, at my return the tires was already inside the car, I open the trunk for check and the guy told me that tires were a bit bigger but he was able to add them. When I was at home I noticed that my roof lining was damage. My car was actually new but not anymore, I m gonna return the tires and asked a refund of everything, plus I m sure I need to fix the damage with my money. I ve a feeling that this people doesn t care about their job. Very bad experience. UPDATE : They refund me the service and I returned the tires, but not the damage. Thanks Walmart for your service.

Final Update: 6 hours and 52 minutes later it seems done. Charged $30 for tire rotation also, but the tires weren t rotated so now I have two new ones in the back on a front wheel drive. Not even going to raise the point to them as that would be an extra couple hours I am sure. This was kinda extreme.Update: Up to 6 hours waiting now, doesn t look like this will be done any time soon. I pride myself in being a patient person but this is really getting to me now.1. Got here at 8:43am.2. Nobody at the check-in so went inside.3. Was spun around for 20 minutes inside before they gave me a sheet of paper and then just routed me to the check in that wasn t there when I arrived.4. Two people were ahead of me at the check-in, but somehow it took another 40 minutes just to get checked in.5. Waited 2.5 hours more and came back to see my car parked in the grocery pick-up section by staff with no work done on it yet.6. I walk inside - ask what s going on with my car - oh, it says it is still in service . I m like, no it ain t, you guys parked it in the Walmart pickup spots and nothing has been done to it.7. Another guy: I ll go check on it - guy never came back. So, it s now 12:38pm. Literally 4 hours since I first arrived my car has not even been touched yet. And I didn t come at a rush time, I came early.Notes: Other people are complaining but I see the mechanics - they are working hard. Sure they are talking but people should at work. This isn t a mechanics not working hard issue, this is a disorganization issue. But man, I work all the time and finally having a day just for it to get chewed up by a disorganized Walmart auto center, that really sucks.

I guessed I was lucky because one of the staff greeted me when I just pull into the area. He told me there would be a 2 hours wait since it's a busy Sunday morning. I was okay with that so after 5 minutes, another guy came to help me check in. After obtaining some basic information, the staff asked me to give him the key and I was good to go. Sounds fast, right? But he didn't even ask me what kind of battery I would like to change (there were 2 kinds, a 2-year warranty & a 3-year warranty). He didn't even suggest any other options (like anti-corrosion treatment). Luckily, I knew what I needed so there's no problem. It actually only took an hour to complete the service so I was first very pleased with that. However, by the time of payment. They put in a $12 core charge. This should be waived if you let them took the old battery. Even though they took the charge off eventually, but it seems like they weren't aware of what they were doing. I was a little disappointed at the customer service but Walmart's price is decent, what more do you expect?Service: Auto battery replacement

Oil change...Early morning review, 03/07/22 (Monday)Really?!?! What's supposed to be a simple job they messed up...I maintain proper tire pressure 1-2 times a month. I look at my receipt and it says these bozos over filled my tires to 40psi; the worst part is that the manufacturer literally tells you the proper psi inside the car door in every car, if they bothered to look. To top it off the guy who worked on my car tried to lie AND the manager backed him up on his lie that they made a typo error when they input it onto the receipt, in other words, they didn't want to fix the simple problem of deflating my tires and inflating them back to a more normal range.I'm thankful I live near Costco and was able check my tire pressure; my tires ranged from 41 to 46psi which is 14--28% higher than they should be!!!!Such sloppy work and bad customer service for a simple oil change, I didn't authorize them to touch my tires (they did unnecessary work, making their own job harder). Now I have doubts about the quality of their work (oil change) and have to seek a 2nd opinion. The auto area wasn't that busy when I confronted them about the other issues I had, they just couldn't be bothered to fix their mistake.Come in for an oil change special and they'll have you back for new tires, or rotation, sooner than you needed to.My new oil doesn't smell right.(Manager in picture)

2.5hrs waiting and that's with an appointment. Moral of the story always go to your local tire shop. It's my fault for going to Walmart.

The worst walmart auto care center. Lazy workers, no one wants to help. You make an appointment and means nothing here. They literally still take walk ins over people with appointment. Major disappointment.

I had such a great experience! Even though the wait was 2 hours. The greeter was super nice and the team was really busy trying to get everyone's car serviced as fast as possible. Plus the waiting area was super clean. And I feel as though they put in new leather couches. Hey we suggest 10 out of 10.

bad service and very bad job last year I went for an oil change and they didn't put the cap on. my car almost broke because I used it for almost a week like that and the oil came out all over the engine of my car.Two days ago I went back to Walmart to do an oil change and this time they let me loose the cover that is under my car where the oil filter goes, I went to San Clemente and on the way it made a lot of noise because the bottom cover was hitting the highway pavement

I would give this Walmart Auto center an EXCELLENT rating. The receptionist, Glenn, was very accommodating. I went to a PEP BOYS in 10231 Lakewood Blvd, Downey, CA 90241 and was told by the mechanic there that I needed all 4 TPMS replaced at $100.00+ for each tire. At this Walmart center the mechanic told me that I only needed to replace 2 tires at $28.88 each. Big savings for me.

I give them 5 stars because I purchased 4 new tires online for my car to be delivered to the store then i had a choice to make an appointment to get them installed which i did. Ordered tires on agust 1st and by august 4th got a notification that they were ready to be picked up and installed. However, i wasnt able to go in until yesterday august 8 for an 11am appointment. I arrived and parked in one of the tire sections and got off and asked one of the guys that i had an appointment for tire installs and where would i sign in and he said to wait by my car which i did. After a few mins another associate came out and took my info and checked me in and took my keys and said that my car would be ready in about an hour or so. In the meantime i did some shopping with my mom and as we weee checking out at Walmart I recieved a text that my car was ready. Literally took an hour. We head over the the auto care department and I pay the install fees and then i was on my way with 4 new tires on my car. Great experience overall 2 thumps up guys thank you!!!Service: Tires

In general I think all Walmarts are understaffed that s why there s so many complaints sent to regards to the service. However today I was able to get my car service by Carlos Ernesto and Michael they were able to get the job done pretty fast got there at six was done at 6:40 however it took me 30 minutes to be able to pay because there was only one cashier and there was a lot of customers in the line for service not to mention that most of this guys are off and steel trying to help the customers. Walmart will benefit from an online appointment option and online payment as well.

Was told it would take 40 min to 1 hour for an oil change it took almost 3 hours. On top of that when I'm directed to pay inside and no one is there, a line of people are waiting and the guy comes out from the back sounding like he was watching tv or his phone. I would be understanding if they were overwhelmed, super busy, running around trying to get to everyone but no 5 workers in the garage making it appear as if they're not busy at all or don't have much to do in the first place. No customer service what so ever never coming back here again, and definitely never coming back either.Service: Oil change

No one answers the phone. I've been trying to get through for an hour. Why would I drive there on a tire that's falling apart if I can't confirm tire is in stock and a few other questions? Idiotic. I got my tires here 4yrs ago. Guess they don't want my business. Screwing me over, I have limited time (Saturday) to fix this issue before other shops close. I also need an alignment. It only takes a few minutes to answer questions.

There needs to be a better system in place of servicing the cars when they drive up for service. It was extremely frustrating to see several men who came after me and an older woman who are getting their car serviced before us without appointments just because they are more forceful. It should be based on the time people come in not anything else. *update spoke to the manager and situation was handled.Service: Oil change

The Service Manager, Felipe , provided extremely poor customer service from start to finish. It was my first time here, no greeting, said nothing to me. I arranged appointment for 7AM when they open, and he prioritized 2 other cars first. I knew the tire size I needed, but was being told it was wrong without any explanation. Ended up having to cancel appointment. The security guard was significantly more helpful and amicable.

You want to be in and out make sure you are there before they open. 20min before anyone came out to see what services were needed. I waited outside 10 min nothing, went inside had to wait my turn as there was a line, only to be told the guys outside would help. Went back outside and there were 4 more people now waiting. They were kind to let me ask my question first. Shop wanted 3 hours to verify tire leak, very slow customer service. I'd only consider this place if shopping in the area.

After being turned away by a competitor for a patch job I drove by and seen that Walmarts Auto side was open. Pulled in was greeted within 5 minutes. I was given a quote of 15 bucks for 1 tire and told I'd be waiting for at least 1 hour & a half. Ended up being about an hour. Other than the wait I was satisfied with the price. Thank you!Service: TiresService: Tires

Terrible customer service, waited quite a bit for someone to finally come to the register area as others were showing up and making a line and also wondering why nobody was helping at the front desk/register. Other than that I was just there to buy a battery so nothing serious.

Tried to get my oil changed and tires rotated and was rudely told they were closed and there weren t. There was people in there and they were also still working. People standing around but we re told they were short staffed. I bought lifetime tire rotation to be able to use it at Walmart. Drove 30 minutes just to be told no. Seriously considering taking my business elsewhere in the future.

No service writer, got completely ignored when we pulled up. We went in and waited for a good 20 minutes just to be told I needed to go out and talk to a tech to get 2 flat repairs. Got a text my truck was done, just to have a regular cashier just tell me the cost and not even talk to me at all about what happened with my truck. Had to go out and question the techs to find out anything. Horrible experience, worst shop I've ever used. We stopped here out of necessity because I couldn't make it to another shop.
