Great place. Family run business. They have been here for years. They recently helped my brother with his cevy van and helped us with our toyota sienna. Runs smoth now. They were clean. Would recommend. Honest owner.

Half hour drive for me in traffic, but I'd take my car here if it was a hundred miles away. The owner, Joe, is not only as trustworthy as they make 'em, but he's just a genuinely nice guy. A real straight shooter, he'll give you the truth about whether your car needs some fix or service. In the auto service business, TRUST is everything. He's been in business for decades too so he's built quite a reputation.

Had our 2013 transmission rebuilt here, they explained everything very thoroughly, our vehicle was ready for pick up as scheduled, the vehicle runs better than when it was new. My K5 transmission blew out and Joe and his team were awesome. I have a very raised K5 with 40 inch mud bogging tires and a built 383 stroker engine. I have instant engine to transmission response. I give them a Five star rating. Very professional and Joe goes out of his way to explain and show you the worn parts and what needs to be done to correct the problem.Service: Transmission

Joe and his team at Boston Transmission have been doing work on various vehicles that I've had for over 30 years. Their work has always been done right the first time. I took my son's 2005 Mazda 3 in today because he was on vacation and had told me that he thought that the standard transmission was slipping. While we were in Joe's parking lot with the car idling, before we drove around the block in the car together, Joe could tell that the car sounded and felt rough and wasn't operating on all four cylinders. As he drove the car he said that the car was shifting well and that there was not anything wrong with the clutch. He plugged the car into his diagnostic computer and determined that cylinder 1 was misfiring. Joe is honest in his dealings with people and competent in his work.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Called to get a quote on some repairs. The "upsell" started immediately. His quote for labor alone was three times what I was quoted at two other shops for the entire job.although the other shops are unable to get my car in today, I will be using one of them.I have seen the Glorious reviews for this place, I'm thinking some of you need to travel outside your neighborhood.

Joe is the Man I paid a little more but the quality of the work for a 1997 Ford Explorer was done correct car was sitting for two years the Transmission was completely damaged. No forward or reverse. I would recommend his shop to anyone grate service.

Good service, friendly staff. I went there Jan 2013. Joe provided transmission service--replace filter, disposable gaskets, fluid, with flush, incl labor. About 1.5 hours. Less expensive than all area shops I called. Joe also recommended a mechanic he trusts for my check engine light. I highly recommend Boston Transmission Co.

I highly recommend Boston Transmission for your transmission needs. Joe was extremely helpful. I took my Toyota highlander to several shops they could not tell me what the problem was, just kept charging me for diagnostic test and one even said I needed a new transmission! Joe identified the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. Saved thousands taking it to Boston Transmission!Service: Transmission

Brought my 1963 impala here.Bought a classic car to enjoy for a bit then flip, noticed the transmission was a little funny, had a leak, and the clutch was rough, brought it here after reading the reviews.Reasonable priced, quality work, Joe is the man and is team is phenomenal. Had to get a repair done on my wife s vehicle a few months ago and Joe took care of it right away. Total professional. He walked me through the process of the parts replaced and the repair done. Just got back from getting my own vehicle repaired and I had a great experience. Fair pricing as well and I will be back whenever mine or my wife s vehicles need repairs in the future.

Joe runs an amazing business, he is never going to sell you something that you don't really need, so you can breathe easy when your car is in his hands. If for some reason the solution to your issue is not his specialty, he will have a good reference for you.His shop is very clean and he has refreshments for you as you wait. Seriously give him a call, he will help get you back on the road

I took my truck to Boston transmission because my check engine came on it was a code for transmission problem. Joe was very friendly and helpful. He got my truck fixed and they did a great job.

went to JOE with my 1991 XJ because it wasn't staying in gear . He had it for a few hours called me saying it was the transfer case and could have it fixed same day ... glad I was recommended to his shop . others might have taken advantaged of me. but Joe was honest and with a great price!! thanks Joe

I was recommended by a friend,some years ago. I took my 1993 GMC so joe would check it. He fixed it for me. I took 2006 dodge cus everytime I made a right turn. It felled like I had a flat. I remember joe we test drove it. Its weird cus it does to you but not to somebody else. Finally joe felled it n said leave it here I will call you back soon. Later that afternoon they called me to come pick it up. He said I serviced the rear axle. He charge me 2 something. He told me take it n if it act up again bring it back n if its not working that I can't fix. I will add what ever I charge before to the bill now.

I recently had my Dodge Dakota clutch replaced at Boston Transmission in Pico Rivera. The owner Joe Bustamante totally discussed with me the problem, drove my truck and diagnosed the problem. I left my truck the next morning and the next day my truck was ready by 4:00 PM, no more clutch problem after a three month ordeal. It was a pleasure doing business with Mr. Bustamante, a gentleman of genuine integrity, his crew knowledgable and precise, their shop very clean and organized. I am completely satisfied and highly recommend Boston Transmission. This business is a 5 Star for sure

I tuck a 2002 Honda addassy and they dint did a good job . Wen you change gearz you will able to fill the change of gearz.. and to me that s not normal specially if they change everything in side the transmission which that's wat I paid so I don't recoment this shop .. sing Rene maya..Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Integrity is the most important trait to look for in the person that services your transmission. Boston transmission has worked on all of my cars for the last ten years. The staff at Boston transmission is professional, honest, and skilled. This is the shop you would want to work on your Mom's car. I think that is the highest compliment you could give any service provider.
