Brought my mini in for some TLC on one major repair. Dan took the initiative to fix a few other little odds and ends for me without breaking the bank. He was very upfront and great about communicating what needed to be done and what small extras he would recommend fixing while he was in there (minis aren't an easy job considering you have to take off their whole front side to get anything done)I've known him awhile from being his server and he's such a good dude. Treats you like you deserve, not like you're his next big windfall.Thanks for everything Dan.

Great rate, great customer service, installed new upper control arms from JBA. 4runner suspension runs like a champ. WILL BE COMING BACK. If anything else is needed in the future. THANK YOU.

Dan has always done top notch work on all my vehicles the last 6 years. He looks after my car very thoroughly and always communicates clearly. His pricing is worth it. I needed a fuse replacement as my power/charging outlets in my main console had gone out. I know fuses can be a pretty simple fix, but I called around to a few shops in town and was told I needed the fuses tested and relays tested, and it would be a week or so before I could get in. I called Whole Auto and he told me to come on over right then and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes with a new fuse and fully working charging ports. It just wasnt as complicated as the other shops were making it out to be. Very much appreciate the super quick and valuable service!!

Dan is the man! He's been servicing all of my cars for years and keeps them all running top notch. Honest, fair pricing and good quality of work make coming to Whole Auto a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend!

Still fairly new in town, I asked the AAA tow truck driver for a referral in town to a good and honest mechanic. He recommended Dan at Whole Auto. Dan definitely took extra steps to insure i was well taken care of. He clearly really cares about clients. He also took time to thoroughly explain what was going to be needed in the future, and the priorities of repairs and why they were important. Well done, reasonable cost.

I've been around cars my whole life. (my dad has always been in the auto business) Dan is hands down one of the best Independents I have ever worked with. His knowledge and work ethic mean you get a repair that is a step above. On top of that he had very competitive pricing. If your are looking for a good mechanic to give you peace of mind and keep your cars up and running go see Dan.

Dan at Whole Auto is top notch. I ve had him regularly work on a 2013 Jetta GLI, 2005 M3, and 2015 Prius for general service. In regards to the German cars Dan is the best Mechanic in the NorthBay, he has a passion for German vehicles. More importantly he does great quality work at a very fair price. I ve done a few upgrades to my vehicles and had some major services and I m always shock by how fair Dan is with his labor, he s honest and bills for how long the job actually took. I ve never had any issues with Dan. It s very hard to find a good mechanic as a whole. I ve been meaning to leave this review for months now. In summery if you want dependability, quality, and a honest price. Go to Dan at whole auto.

Dan at Whole Auto really knows his stuff. He's hands down one of the most honest mechanics I've come to meet. He does everything he says he'll do. You can trust and believe when you take your vehicle to Dan's that it will be taken care of.

Great customer service. Really fair prices. An honest mechanic. I've been taking my 2010 Honda Fit to Dan for close to a year now and have been pleased with both the performance and pricing.

Dan is the man! He is honest and reliable. I found him through a friend and they were right. His work is quality and he does not over charge. If you have any concerns just call him. He will answer your questions no problem. We all know how hard it is to find a HONEST RELIABLE mechanic.

Hi , I own a 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS . When it was at the dealership for a factory recall repair I was told that my oil pan gasket needed to be replaced A.S.AP. .They gave me an estimate of $860.00 . About a month later I noticed a large puddle of oil under the car . I called around town & checked the Internet for a more affordable cost. Only when I called Whole auto & talked to Dan was I given advise that he doubted it was the oil pan & told me to tow it over for them to take a look at it . I dropped it off Monday morning around 9 a.m. . By 4 p.m. that same afternoon , Dan called to tell me it was just a broken oil pressure sending unit . His estimate to me was no more then $260 . I agreed ! The very next day by 2 p.m. Dan called to tell me it was done . When I went to pick it up the price was only $230 ! That is $ 630 he saved me !!!!!!!!!!!!! Dan is my go to guy for any thing automotive

Seemed decent. Sold me a really good battery at retail and threw in a couple terminal connectors at cost. Fair enough.I was stuck at the gas station across the street. Needed a new battery and my cables were just old so I put new ends in them too.Kept a clean shop, everything seemed well maintained and appeared inspected, pretty clearly above board.

Simply the best. Dan worked diligently to replace the buggered transmission on our old Mitsubishi Mirage and did extra maintenance that we shamefully neglected, all at a more than a fair price. We won't go anywhere else now as long as we live in Sonoma county. And his dog, Tyson, gets six stars!

Dan IS the man... no brake lights = no pass inspection :( wiring leading to the brake light switch corroded so this was going to be a challenge... Dan got the job done for a lot less than the dealer wanted. Thanks buddy, much appreciated...

Great experience here. Had the Check Engine light on when my smog test came up -- he cleared the code, got me a clean smog test and back on the road without major work. Now that the light is back on, I am headed directly to Dan.
