We had a good experience at Hansel Honda Petaluma. We are very please with the support we received from Liam, Shane and Staff. We are from Napa, and found that it was worth the short drive to Petaluma to work with a team that was honest, upfront and had no hidden cost upon final transaction! The price they quoted was the price we paid. No Shenanigans!!

Such an easy car buying experience. We weren't sure about a Honda when we went in to test drive a Honda Pilot, as we had never had one before, but boy were we surprised. Our sales person Marci was terrific and very easy to deal with. No pressure sale. We purchased a Honda Pilot that day! Would LOVE to buy from her again. Update - Have had a few Service Appointments and have had the BEST service experience with their Service Team. Jose Medina is a rock star. Very nice to deal with, friendly, and always explains everything.

We had a wonderful experience with Hansel Honda and our sales person, Dillon. We recently purchased/leased two cars, and the process could not have been better. As anyone who is trying to get a new car right now knows, due to the chip shortage and supply chain issues the inventory is low, and there are significant delays in being able to get the car you want. Working with Dillon was simple, and he was able to get us the Pilot and CRV that we wanted in a relatively short period of time. We also got a great deal! Hansel has earned our business for years to come. Thanks so much!

Avoid this dealership for repairs. After moving and going to a different dealership, we found so many errors with all the work Hansel Honda performed on our 2017 Pilot. We have no recourse and it shouldn t be like this. Honda should back their dealers. Instead we are paying for repairs that we ve already paid for after discovering they weren t actually repaired fully, thanks to Hansel. For example, instead of replacing a whole section, they only replaced one part of it vs changing all of the parts related to our spark plugs. They also screwed our struts. The took our strut off, took off one part, replaced it, without replacing all of the parts as should ve been standard operating procedure. For the timing belt, they didn t change the belt and the tensioner, but only the belt. Which means we are paying double for many things. I imagine this is occurring to many Hansel clients unknowingly Perhaps they ll never know unless their clients take their car to a different dealership. Avoid Hansel at all costs!!!!!!

I'm not one for the whole car buying process. It's long, tedious & as a former sales person, I find myself recognizing little cues & tactics sales people use to achieve their objective (which i'm not mad at, just kinda jaded to the whole thing in general). In addition, my last experience with buying a car was less than stellar & left me with a car that as much as I loved, gave me a whole lot more problems than I wanted. All that said, this was pretty nice. I saw the car online & sent a request to the dealer to see if it was still available & my guy, Manny V. got back to me the next morning to set up a time to check it out. When we got there Manny answered our questions, & worked with us to get us a pretty good deal on my new (used) car. He was even able to take my old beloved off my hands too. It was a Saturday, so while there was a lot of hustle & bustle we never felt like we weren't cared for or paid attention to. If my specific tastes allow, I just might come back for the next one.

This experience is specifically related to the Service Department. Brought my Accord in for a timing belt change / valve adjustment/ new spark plugs. After getting my car back, I lost all power and controls while driving 60mph on my way to work. I have never experienced an issue like this with my car. After being stranded for an hour, I pay $200 to get towed back to the dealership. I m told they will take care of a rental car for me and offer a ride to Enterprise to pick it up, but the representative there tells me that the invoice Hansel printed for me to give to him would not even fully cover the cost of a car for the day, requiring me to pay out of pocket to cover the rest. Later that day the service rep from Hansel texts me saying that they found the issue, and it was the technicians fault that this happened. Fast forward to the following morning, I come in to pick my car up and drop the rental off. At no point during this entire ordeal was I contacted by a service manager, and had to specifically request to speak to one. I eventually sat down with the assistant service manager, and she tells me that after doing her own research it is unlikely that they caused the problem, even after I was told by the rep that they had in fact found out that it was. I originally requested a partial refund of the service, and she told me that she couldn t do that as it would be taking money out of the technicians pocket. I was offered a credit of $300 to cover the tow and rental fees. This was a $3000 service that resulted in a catastrophic failure that could have caused an accident endangering myself and others. The lack of urgency from management to offer any reconciliation is unacceptable. Take your car elsewhere.

The overall experience wasn't bad, but I waited approximately 7 months for my car, and I told them the whole time that I didn't want the front license plate holder installed because I didn't want holes in the bumper. Well, they didn't install the license plate holder, but they DID drill the holes... And then put fasteners in them when they realized their mistake. They also didn't bother telling me about it, which I guess is the typical car-salesman level of honesty. I'm glad I finally got a car, but I won't be buying another one from Hansel.

I ve been searching far and wide for the perfect Honda Element. I was lucky enough to find this Element close to home at Hansel Honda in Petaluma. I called them up and had the pleasure of speaking to Kevin Miller of the internet department. He made this process effortless and fun. I'm so happy with my Element as it's the color I wanted with features also. If your in the market for a new or used Honda please ask for Kevin Miller and Hansel Honda in Petaluma. Hansel Honda is a great dealership. They are attentive and professional. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to purchase a new car from them because they did not have the color I want. However, their customer service is so great that I still want to leave them a great review. Side note: they immediately refunded my deposit within 1 or 2 days after I told them I no longer want to hold the incoming new car.So, If they have the car you want, buy from them!

I bought my 2022 Civic EX from Hansel Honda and will be recommending this dealership to anyone looking for a new car. I worked with Moises and he is an absolute gem of a salesman. Never tried to be pushy or upsell, and he always made sure that I was taken care of as I was waiting for the car to come into the dealership. From the day that I put in my deposit, he made sure that he sent me weekly updates on the car. If I ever had any questions, he was extremely communicative and tried to get everything taken care of in a timely manner.I was coming from Sacramento, so Moises made sure that the process was as smooth as possible and tried to work with me at every turn. While every dealership in the Sacramento area tried to sell their cars for way above MSRP, Hansel Honda sells their vehicles for MSRP. With that, and the excellent customer service I received, I will absolutely be coming back to purchase another vehicle with them when the time comes.Thank you again, Moises + Hansel Honda! You guys are wonderful!

We didn t experience any kind of sales pressure from him, just courtesy and helped us find out what kind of car we can afford and what would work for us. We just bought a Honda 2022 and the service was exemplary. We were in and out in less than an hour. Louis kept us up to date, clarity and openness on all charges, pre-arranged all verifications so essentially walked in and left with the keys. Fantastic customer service.

contacted the dealership to inquire about some vehicle information. spoke with moises and was absolutely floored by the level of knowledge and service he provided. his demeanor was relaxed and professional, while also extremely efficient, friendly, and respectful. this gentleman is a rarity in the industry, providing old-school excellence in the realm of customer service as well as demonstrating obvious integrity and passion for what he does. i absolutely recommend this individual to anyone shopping for a new car.

Please read this review and be warned about Hansel Honda in Petaluma. I took my Honda Odyssey for a simple inspect and tire alignment before a 4hr road trip. I got my van back with both automatic power doors not working. I called immediately to let them know that they had messed up my vans power doors. McKenna was extremely defensive and even went to say we did not touch the power doors. Strangely enough my gps wasn t working when I took my van there but after picking my van someone there without my permission had fixed the Honda and messed up my doors. McKenna pleasantly explained how I was supposed to pay $190+ to have them figure out what they messed up. In other words I took my van for one issue and got it back with one more problem and they want me to pay for them for intentionally messing my van.

I recently had an issue with my financing on my new Honda Civic. I am super impressed at how quickly the issue was resolved by Carol in Customer Relations, General Sales manager and the Finance manager Shane. An initially stressful experience turned out to be a very pleasant one. Many many thanks to all of you at Hansel Honda of Petaluma. In the future I would not hesitate to buy my car from you. We can t say enough about the amazing customer service received at Hansel Honda. From beginning to end Luis and the rest of the team made sure we understood all aspects of their car buying process. Unlike our our previous experience trying to buy a car, we were assured that we would not have to purchase any extras we did not want, nor did they randomly raise the sticker price citing supply issues. In fact we were even given a vin # prior to the car being delivered and we didn t even have to leave a check as a deposit. We will definely be back to Hansel Honda to get our next civic. Ocean Honda of Santa Cruz employees should get trained in Petaluma.

My A/C stopped working in my CR-V and it needed service. I brought it here instead of the dealership I bought it from despite having a service contract with them because they always tacked on extra stuff that ended up costing me a fortune. My service advisor at Hansel, Jason, was very friendly and efficient. He was able to look up my service contract so that I could have the work done through them and still only pay the deductible for my A/C compressor. He was also very knowledgeable, honest and had my car done by the promised time. I highly recommend!

Very pleasant experience. I called in about a recall issue regarding my airbags and they set me up with an appointment for the next day. I dropped my car off & was told my car would be finished at 4pm. They offered me a shuttle ride which was great & called me at 3:45 to say my car was done. I was very pleased they were right on time & everything went so smooth. They were very efficient and great to do business with, couldn't have asked for anything better. M

The communication between stores is non existent. How can multiple stores share the same used cars but not know anything about them. Like that 3 people had already put a deposit on it!!! I had at one point three people from three different Hansel car dealers trying to sell me this one car. It was seriously the run around cause no one had any answers. Except that they were going to get me in this car first! One of them even offered for me to put a deposit on it. one of them offered to drive it to me so I wouldn t miss out. The salesman at Petaluma Honda told me it was available to see and drive. We went and drove it and loved it. Seriously spent over two hours Thinking about it!!!!!! Decided to see about financing and then turns out this car has not one but three deposits on it! But not my deposit! Seriously. Get your stuff together Hansel I feel like communicating is not that hard. Or hey take it off the website!!! I'm pretty sure that is easy. I do not recommend going to Hansel. I talked to the manager about everything that happened and I'm pretty sure he could care less. It was very obvious he had no interest even talk to me. He also tried to blame the other Hansel dealerships. I m sorry your salesman brought me in to test drive and see this car. How did no one have any idea! No one apologized or seemed to really care. I would like all the time I wasted on this car back because of your lack of communication. This was days by the way!There are a lot of other dealerships where you could spend your money. We went to Kia Marin and bought a great car and had a great experience. Go there instead.

I had a painless experience here. Kimberly was very attentive and spent a large amount of time helping me. Yes, they're here to sell cars, but Kim was incredibly personable and wanted to make sure I was happy. Later in the week, I took the car to the service center to have some complementary services done on the car (something I knew needed to be done before I bought the car), and Jay was very friendly and helpful as well. I would recommend having your Honda serviced here.

I went to Hansel to have some covered maintenance done to my 10-year old Honda. The facility is clean and pleasant. Everyone was charming. My car was fixed quickly. They couldn't have been nicer. I will start going to Hansel for all my Honda maintenance in the future. Honestly. I'm amazed by how much more I felt taken care of than at the previous place I went to. They were great and they didn't even make any money from me.

We bought a new to us van in May of 2020. For some reason, our address was wrong in a couple places of the paperwork, but correct on most of the paperwork. We followed the directions the finance department gave us for correcting the documentation in the couple of spots where they put some random address instead of our address. So when we didn't receive our tags in a timely manner, we were surprised to learn that they had registered it to that random address instead of our correct address. We contacted the dealership and they said they would take care of fixing the problem. Imagine our surprise when renewal came and went in 2021 and we didn't receive anything. After spending hours on the phone with the DMV, turns out they still had the wrong address and Hansel hadn't updated anything. Things were supposed to get fixed and our tags were eventually sent to us. Fast forward to 2022 (2 years later) and DMV still doesn't have our correct address for some reason and I'm still dealing with DMV to get my registration tags. Now, that's the DMV's issue this year, but I wouldn't be wasting hours of my time every year on this if Hansel had done our paperwork right the first or even second time. I don't think we would purchase from them again.

All staff greeted me with friendly eye contact, a smile and polite greetings. Everyone kindly inquired about my needs being met and cordially explained the process they were involved with my vehicle's visit. As I mentioned to the manager, my specialist who handled my car's recall repair was extremely courteous and professional. I will return to Hansel based on the excellent customer service which he provided. Thanks!

I'm grateful to Marci Jo Howard for her help and expertise in purchasing my Accord at Hansel. She made an otherwise stressful experience enjoyable and easy, and was a delight to work with. She went the extra mile for me to ensure I got the right car and followed up after to ask if I had concerns or questions.
