Highly recomend this place for any vintage motorcycle engine work. Everyone was super friendly, knew what they were talking about and were extremely careful to double check the specs when I took in my cylinders to be bored out for oversize pistons. They even sandplasted the cooling fins for no additional cost! Overall extremely pleased with their work, and will likely be back.

Be very careful dealing with them. I had called them asking for a estimate on a cam journal repair. The lady I spoke to put me on the phone with Mike the machinist. I had emailed them multiple pictures of the head so he knew what he was dealing with. He had quote me $250 to repair the cam journals. At the time I was happy I found someone that could do it. Fast forward many months after calling and emailing with about getting replacement cams to ship back with the head with no response. After investigating she discovered she was emailing the wrong address on emails after our original conversation. I decided I would just find cams elsewhere and just have them send the head back. Long story they now told me it was going to be $375 plus $50 in parts. Mike said he never quoted me $250 it wasnt written anywhere so i had no proof and he wouldn't honor what he said. They told me there prices have gone up even more since he quoted the job and implied I should be happy with what they were charging me. Worst machine shop iv ever had the displeasure of dealing with.Service: Engine repair

They were very helpful in helping me get my cylinder board for me and they did it in a really quick fashion

Been Working With engine dynamics for years, very honest and very helpful. Mike is always willing to take 5 minutes out of his day to look at what ever I bring in. He has done work to many of my engines and been able to work more than a few miracles.He is not the cheapest, But he is the best, and if he does it it will be right.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!I was very disappointed! They cracked my performance head when pressing in valve seats and sent it back to me which cost me $850 and the head was useless I sent it back to them and pointed it out. he repaired it and charged my card another $240. When i called to ask why he charged me he was extremely rude and unhelpful and denied cracking it and giving me every excuse in the book?? The head was not cracked before sending it to him, and cracked when it came back. I would highly think twice before using this shop. Very shady person to work with and there are alot of good shops out there that are honest!BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

Money always holds me back I have tons of stuff I could bring them but everything they have done for me is perfect rebuilt cranks head work recoating cylinders boring whatever waiting late for me cuz I can't make it in before they close they are awesome down there Jenny and Mike Rock

Back in 2008 I brought my bike here and the service was top notch. If I still lived in the lovely Bay Area I'd go back!
